Fantastic experience: Did my first round of practice driving today, both people I met and spoke with are incredibly kind. The staff are great and talkative people, even offered to let me drive to the school. They are very happy to answer any questions. I didn’t feel pressured or embarrassed much, extremely calm and nice instructors. I plan on taking another practice drive at some point, great school and not overly expensive. I’d highly recommend. Their cars are also pretty good, they’ve got a lot of them and they seem upkept. Overall an incredibly pleasant experience

Fantastic experience: Shield and the Cardinal driving school were prompt in contacting from the initial phone call, and we're on time or early every time. Very reliable and stress free scheduling.

Negative experience: The Unprofessionalism is Astounding Nightmare from beginning to end. Signed up (and paid) online with email saying I would be contacted "shortly". I texted the number on the website two weeks later and was told there were issues with the website. Signed up for class, which was then canceled by Cardinal. Was offered option for online classes at no additional cost and it took multiple attempts and contacts to get that working. Every time I emailed Tina (twice), I was ignored. I would then have to text Sheila in Columbus, who would contact Tina and tell her to respond to me. Finally got scheduled for driving times (after emailing Tina twice, being ignored, texting Sheila, and then having to wait two months for openings). At first drive, Tina seemed impatient and irritable. She failed to show up for second drive (with no heads-up that she wasn't coming), and was 10 minutes late for third drive. Had to contact Tina and Sheila multiple times over a month to get ONE HOUR of driving time made up from when Tina no-showed. Sheila in Columbus was great. Tina in Findlay, DO BETTER!!

Fantastic experience: I've not been in a position to get my license for about 10 to 12 years, nobody to drive with and actually take the time to help me. This place is awesome, they're so helpful. Answered all my questions, didn't make me feel stupid. Showed me little tips and tricks to make everything easier! I only did the 2 hour time. But, everyone of MY concerns we got to work on, it was genuinely a great experience for me. I would honestly recommend this to ANYONE who simply does not have friends, family, no drive availability due to lack of car/time, people's cars you know just BARELY missing the minimum requirements, etc.

Positive experience: This last weekend I took my son out to drive a few hours and get some maneuverability in. We ended up next to a CDS car in the local school lot. After a handful of turns in which my son never even hit a cone, not showed any anxiety, it was a very open conversation back and forth, the instructor in the next car decided to give me pointers about leaving the wheel sideways to give them a leg up on anxiety in the reverse motion. While she was not necessarily incorrect, and I was cordial and told her I understood where she was coming from, the more I thought about it, the more it seemed a very lazy of a way to approach this. It also felt like what I want to call "karen-splaining". When someone just knows better than you, and has to let you know it. I don't believe in teaching to the test. That's exactly what they were coaching me to do. I want my kids prepared for life without me in the car next to them. I have taught three kids now to center the wheel, in order to always know exactly where they start. But I've taught more than just my own children how to drive in the last 20 years. It's important to know the exact position of your wheel without getting out of the car, at ALL times, as a driver. You should be able to 'feel' center position. I also want them to be able to figure out how to correct their wheel position to achieve the desired results rather than having perfectly memorized motions to hopefully get you through a non-standard parking encounter. I ended up telling my son what they said, and then said, "use it how you will, but this is what I believe." He did great. Only hitting two cones throughout nearly an hour of practice. FWIW, the day prior, I took him up to Toledo and taught him how to parallel park downtown. He did it better than most Toledo drivers on the first try, and I only showed him once. He is learning skills. Not just the test...

Fantastic experience: Tina was great with my daughter and taught her what she needed to know to be a better and safer driver. My daughter really enjoyed driving with her and enjoyed the experience. Tina was great with communication and promptly returned any phone calls and emails with questions I had. Very helpful and would definitely recommend to anyone needing to their driving instruction hours.

Negative experience: Unorganized and unprofessional. Spoke to them on multiple occasions a month in advance about a class for my son, received a date, time, and price for the class. Arrived on the scheduled day, and she claimed to not remember any of this and that there was no class scheduled for him. I showed her our communications and she insisted she does not remember it and she did not put it into her calendar.

Negative experience: Rating: 0/5 I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this driving school. I scheduled an appointment a few weeks ago, but the instructor failed to confirm or show up on the scheduled day. When I called to confirm, she claimed to have a family emergency and postponed the appointment by 10 days. However, she failed to show up again today, despite taking my information and confirming the appointment. The instructor's lack of communication and reliability is appalling. Her constant excuses and failure to follow through on commitments are unprofessional. I am shocked that this driving school is still in operation with such poor service. I suspect that my accent may have played a role in her dismissive behavior, which is unacceptable. I would not recommend this driving school to anyone. The instructor's unresponsiveness and lack of accountability are red flags. I hope others can learn from my experience and avoid the frustration and wasted time I have endured.

Negative experience: If I can give less than one star I would do it. Had to schedule for the second time after not showing up or notifying us and this time never showed up and did not answer our phone calls.

Fantastic experience: Miss. Tina is absolutely amazing to work with!! She truly cares about her students and their safety on the road. She is an awesome teacher and I would 100% recommend her if you’re looking for a drivers ed teacher!

Fantastic experience: the staff were quick to respond to messages and emails and very supportive. Even whe. I dropped the ball and didn't have paperwork ready for the first driving scheduled Tina quickly adjusted the schedule for my daughter to get her drive time in so she could still take her test!

She worked around my school schedule, getting my drive time out of the way an hour before school.
