Fantastic experience: Two of my children did driver's ed. with Midwest Driving School. I loved that they could do it at their own pace. The online course work was honestly not their favorite, but I feel they learned what they needed to learn to be successful drivers. The best part was that when they did the hours with the instructor, he was able to help in the areas that they were struggling in (parking for one of mine).

Fantastic experience: My instructor Paul was fantastic. He was very resourceful, informative and a great person to have guiding me. I really enjoyed my overall experience, it was super smooth and I would definitely do it again.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with this school. I got the 2 hour practice + test session and scheduling it was very easy. They even picked me up from my location. During the drive, my instructor Jamie was very sweet and helpful. I was originally worried that getting my drivers test would be stressful, but it went as comfortably and as smoothly as possible due to the great staff. I would highly recommend this school, I came up all the way from Indianapolis as it is much better compared to schools in Indy. I also originally learned how to drive in another country, Jamie was extremely helpful in teaching me how to manage the certain differences in driving here.

Fantastic experience: I've had a great experience with Midwest. I only took my driving test with them, as I had a driving license from a different country, and it was a very smooth process. They were very helpful before the test, someone was available to assist me the entire time while I was getting my documents at the Lafayette BMV. My instructor during the test was Geoff, really nice guy, very patient and approachable. The session cost me $120, which is a much better deal than some of the other places I've seen around. I got a 45 minute practice run before my test, and then the test itself. The car was new and well equipped, everything ran smoothly. All in all I am very satisfied with my experience at the Midwest driving school, and I would recommend it to anyone in the Lafayette area who is looking to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: It’s a very good school! Their cars are really well-equipped to teach driving, and they pick up and deliver students, as well as respond to clients’ messages unlike the road star. Mr. Clayton is the Perfect and the Best Drive Coach not here in Lafayette, but in the World!! He taught me from scratch with my zero experience in my not young years. Mr. Clayton has made a miracle! The car for student drivers that was well-invested into, as well as the control Mr. Clayton has over driving during a class guarantees the best safety! Last but not least, being a foreigner here without a car did not allow me to see much of Indiana, or neighboring states, or world-famous, legendary American sites. Drive classes on highways gave me a chance to grasp the expanse and beauty of the US. I especially liked the Indiana grain fields which reminded me grain fields back in my home country because back at home our crops talk and sing to their farmer, the wheat quarrels with the corncockle, the rye looks at stars, drinks rain and listens to the wind. In summary, Mr. Clayton has created a positive image of an American driving school, American people and the USA! I highly recommend Midwest Driving School in Lafayette, Indiana!

Fantastic experience: People were surprised that Midwest Driving School picks up their students from the home. The driving school wants students to have a considerable amount of practice with their parents before the behind the wheel instruction. The nice part about this is they also are able to offer the driving portion of the driver's test and my son passed. Finally the school was the cheapest option in the area that I could find which allowed my son to get his permit. A great company. They have friendly staff as well.

Fantastic experience: Joe was awesome! I've had my learner permit for many years, but I didn't know even the basics and hated driving. I eventually pulled the trigger and tried out Midwest Driving School after hearing bad things about Road Star. Joe knew how to work with international students. The drives with him were relaxing, and his voice was so soothing that I wish I could record all his driving instructions. He kept reinforcing the important defensive driving techniques, and that was very useful. When we drove around town, Joe would also tell me a lot of useful local info. I did the test with him too, and it was so much less hassle than doing it at the BMV. I highly recommend Joe! His schedule was packed, but it was 100% worth the wait.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of attending Midwest Driving School, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. As someone who was completely new to driving in the US, I was apprehensive about the process, but Joseph(The instructor) and overall program exceeded all my expectations. He is patient, calm and informative person who taught me defensive driving and how to be pro active. This is the best driving school at Lafayette,Indiana hands down.

Fantastic experience: I usually don't write reviews, but I was actually referred by a friend that took driving lessons with Joe. Joe is a great instructor and clearly knows his stuff. Although I had some experience, he helped me get on track and used to driving again. I highly recommend taking driving lessons with him if you are a beginner driver. He offers value that no other driving instructor will in this area. I really enjoyed my time with him and if I had to do the same process again, I would choose Joe as my instructor.

I signed my daughter up for this school and she took quite some time to complete her online portion before being able to actually go to her driving lessons. That was not an issue with Joseph he always was willing and ready when she was. He also picked her up from our home and that was so amazing and convenient. Hands down best driving school around! Fantastic experience: I did most of my required 50 hour driving practice with Joe. He is a great driving instructor and structured the classes really well so I could get comfortable with all kinds of driving (in town, interstate, etc.). Him picking me up at my apartment made it a lot easier for me to work around my schedule and get the required practice in a short time. If you're an international student at Purdue looking to get some driving practice, I would highly recommend scheduling classes with them.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best value and best quality driving school in Tippecanoe county. I had 0 experience in driving whatsoever, but by my 7-8th lesson I was able to drive around anywhere comfortably. Scheduling is extremely flexible, and if you're a purdue student the instructor will accommodate based around your classes/exams. In addition to teaching you every detail on the road, he'll teach you how to maintain cars, process of buying/leasing a car if you're interested, insurance, and everything you need to know about owning a car or buying a car in America. Also I highly recommend taking the driving test with the instructor - makes the process 10000x easier.

Fantastic experience: I was an international student with zero driving experience on American roads but within the 10 hours of instruction I received I was already in a state where I could drive by myself using my out of country license. My instructor, who was also a former BMV examiner, took me from parking lot practice to parallel parking to highway driving. He was extremely safety conscious taking me through a variety of roads and conditions and all this within the 10 hour package I purchased. As a student with no vehicle the fact that your instructor comes to YOUR location for pickup was a world of difference compared to the competitor schools and as the website says you really do get the full 2 hours down to the minute! This school gets 5/5 from me and I highly recommend to anyone looking to get expert driving instruction!

Negative experience: I don't think this is a real driving school. No location, no office person, never return phone calls. I'm pretty sure this is just a guy with a car driving around Lafayette. No thanks.

Fantastic experience: The instructor worked perfectly around my college schedule, picked me up anywhere I wanted and gave me first-class driving instruction. He continuously pointed out requirements for the DMV's road test, and moreover shared with me practical wisdom, for example how to safely drive through a snowstorm while we saw other cars stranded next to the road. The service was professional and considerate of my learning style. The car was almost new, really clean and very fun to drive. On my road test I received 100%.

Fantastic experience: Leant to parallel park properly! Had a few lessons and was very prepared for my Indiana licence. Joe was professional, patient and prompt. I would highly recommend him. I passed my test with flying colours the first time and feel my lessons with Joe really made all the difference.

He said his instructor, Mr. Clayton, was always professional, polite, patient, and provided good instructions. He was also flexible with drive hours and always on time. This has been a very good experience and I would recommend their services to all teen parents.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Midwest Driving school was great as I started with no prior experience but became confident driving my car in short time of my training. Also, I was happy as Joseph tried to fit in driving hours as per my schedule. The practice sessions started with basic car knowledge and led onto driving on highways, practicing changing lanes, driving at speed limits ( not below as case with me or above) , manoveuring roundabouts, parking etc, so overall it was fruitful for me. I will suggest the learner to be aware of their own weaknesses and ask Joseph to help you with those.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend taking classes from this school. My instructor was very highly professional and I learned a great deal from him. Learning from a professional is so much better than taking driving classes from your friends or relatives. You will work with an instructor who will built your confidence on the road, not the other way around. This school will help you not only to pass the test but actually feel safe on the road. Plus, the instructor picks you up and drops you off where you need to be. Nobody else provides such services. Don't doubt this school. You will have a great experience from the very first class.
