Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with this driving school, specifically with an instructor named Kevin. After I informed him that I no longer needed his services and had already paid a different school to schedule my road test, he still took it upon himself to cancel my test — even though he had absolutely no right to do so. He was not the one who scheduled it, and I had made it very clear I was no longer working with him. What makes this even worse is that Kevin was extremely rude throughout our interactions, and at times made me feel uncomfortable in ways that crossed personal boundaries. I shouldn’t have to say this, but professionalism and safety should be the bare minimum when working with students — especially young women — and that was completely lacking here. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone. Not only was this experience a waste of time and money, but it was also deeply uncomfortable and stressful. Be very cautious if you’re considering using them.

Fantastic experience: The driver was the best ever he takes his time to to teach you so you don’t fall I’m so grateful that I found him and now I pass at my first test drive

Negative experience: I paid about 210 bucks just for an instructor to boast how great he is, takes me barely 10 minutes for a pre test doesn't review or go over anything significant before the test and I ended up failing. Horrible experience with an incompetent instructor. Would not recommend.

While you may opt for the 5-hour class here, I advise looking elsewhere for the driving instruction itself. Unfortunately, my experience with Kevin, the owner and sole instructor, was less than satisfactory. Kevin, despite his friendly demeanor, struggles with scheduling and transparency. He charges up to $200 to take students to their driving tests, often declaring them ready when they are not, leading to costly failures and repeat tests. This practice not only wastes money but also trust. A good business should aim to see students pass efficiently and affordably, fostering a reputation that naturally encourages more business. Kevin, if you're reading this, please consider revising your approach to prioritize your students' success over short-term gains. Future students deserve honesty and a fair chance to succeed. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Kevin is the best of them all !!! He don’t play about his customers. I had a driving test before my road test and we got there and I passed. I would definitely recommend him. He shows a little tuff love because he wants you to pass. Even though I passed the road test I’m going back for more lessons.

Negative experience: I went to this driving school literally years ago roughly around 2018-2019 and the driver kevin kept rescheduling my lessons to a point I eventually asked for a refund… he told me because it’s been over a year i wont be able to get one. But he told me he will speak to a manager. Fast forward to literally 2024 i get this message. For those who decide to go here please just re consider and go somewhere else

Negative experience: I will give one star because that is the minimum, but doesn’t even deserve the one star. They are only there to take your money. Don’t use them.

Fantastic experience: Kevin is the best driving instructor in Yonkers!! I was taking lessons in the bronx but wasn’t learning nothing from them. I was also scared of being behind the wheel. Then I met Kevin.. He help me with my fear of driving and after lessons with him I got my license. couldn’t get any better than that!!

If you're looking for excellent service, along with excellent results, I would suggest this business 1000%!! Kevin is absolutely wonderful!He knows what needs to be done in order to get what needs to get done in order to give a passing score!I would 100% recommend this school again to anybody who needs this kind any kind of driving service, whether it be lessons orDefensive driving..Manhattan driving school is the way to go!!

Negative experience: This is the worst business ever and a scam, Kevin keeps cancelling driving class and will not reply to your message be warned. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I REPEAT ITS A FRAUDULENT BUSINESS .

Negative experience: Very disappointed with service for many reasons. Video content shown on the virtual 5 hour pre-licence class was often impossible to hear. I spoke up to inform the teacher of this and the rest of attendees agreed. But he brushed this away and continued to waste time playing videos no body could hear. Content was also extremely outdated. Then when it came to booking my test the service was extremely overpriced. $30 to book your test online!! This is something anyone can do by themselves in 2 minutes. I was told I would be brought for a 40 minute practice before my test but was only taken for 15 minutes, was given little to no guidance and was charged $50. The price then to accompany you to the test location is $80 (5 min drive away). Seems WAY OVERPRICED to me. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking lesson for months with this school before I came to this place a previous school had a really bad instructor zero patience and zero care this school instructor is far from that cares for you to pass and do and good most importantly patience I recommend I passed my road test thanks to this school and they have a very nice up to date model for thier vehicle for you to drive in!

Fantastic experience: Kevin is the best!!!! I only took 6 classes with him within 1 month and 1 week with little to no driving experience before him and I passed my driver’s test on the first try!!! Each classes he tests you like the actual road test and helps you like you’re actually taking the test. They call him the best for a reason, he wants you to past. I recommended him to everybody I know who’s on there way to get the test because he is the best!!!!

Fantastic experience: Great instructor, great car, great overall experience. He had a 2020 hybrid for you to drive so you're getting the top of the line experience in new vehicles. I passed my road test first try. Calm but direct instructions really helping you get the hang of things. Highly recommend

Negative experience: My little brother paid over $200 for a road test here and when the scheduled time arrived the owner tried to say he didn’t recall the encounter or the payment and didn’t have anything scheduled for his road test ! Very unprofessional since he basically stole my brothers money and acted as if he didn’t know anything about it ! Would not recommend anyone to go here for classes or road test especially if you are a younger child they’ll cheat you outta your money!

Fantastic experience: Kevin is phenomenal! Came to him after I paid for 10 lessons with another driving school and failed my road test. Kevin was flexible, patient and reassuring. I had a very small window to get my license before my permit expired and he was awesome. Very old school neighborhood feel and he’s been doing this for a long time. Thanks Kevin!

Fantastic experience: Alex was a great instructor! He made the learning experience easy and fun. I have passed the road test for the first time after practicing for a couple of weeks with Alex. I've referred two of my friends to come here. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who is serious about getting there licence. Thanks guys again for all the help! ;)
