SunCoast Traffic School

Negative experience: Company needs to update their actual location due to the fact they list their location that is owned by Holiday Express inn and dose not have a driving school or course, the location information is misleading and the workers there have already dealt with people asking about this company being registered at Holiday Express location and have made attempts to get that information corrected (it originally shows Hampton until you try and search for directionts to the driving school on the map and immediately pulls this location since it is listed as the same address as the Inn). So again due to the nature of the driving school miss information on its legal locations it will be a 1 star, don't know how people are listing a review on this company when they couldn't of gone here at a location that it does not exist at, (review bots probably since most of them are positive reviews)

Negative experience: Not sure how the instructors are. But whoever answers the phone at this establishment is extremely rude and unkind. No worries, not interested in recommending your services whatsoever anymore.

Fantastic experience: Barry is the best instructor I’ve ever met. He was straightforward and clear with instructions. He cared for his student and wasn’t all about the money. I been driving for years and he didnt waste my time and just guided me with some basic road rules. I 100% recommend this school to anybody wanting to learn driving.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Barry, and he did a fantastic job at teaching and guiding me through the whole drive. Thanks to his help and guiding words, I finally felt calm driving, and feel fully confident now in getting my license and driving safely. 5/5, would recommend him and the school again.

Fantastic experience: The instructor I had was Barry. He was perfect. For parents nervous about there kids confidence in their ability to drive, don't worry, because Barry made me feel like I was the best. Taught me exactly what was on the driver's test and I passed on my first try. Thanks a million Barry!

Fantastic experience: I am the mother of an 18-year-old son. Who just received his drivers license.(The gentleman at the DMV when he got done with the driving test, he said, my son was stellar!!!!) that should say enough about this driving school …. but I’ll speak as a Parent !! We were blessed enough to come upon this company who went above and beyond to help us critique his driving and get ready for the test. We were also blessed enough to have Daniel work with us. He is a very patient, kind person. Listens to the family about concerns. When it came time to test, we used the company car my son is practicing in Daniel was very attentive to my son, went over things at the car before we walked into the DMV! He ( Danielle ) literally walked us through the whole DMV experience and stayed outside while my son tested to watch my son in the car. I cannot as a parent expressed how impressed I am with Jessica who would deal with all of my concerns over the phone and the school … this company is very compassionate and stands behind their word to help your child have the confidence for the day of the driving test. I just want to Thank this Driving school and Daniel for everything ,I recommend them 10 stars.

Fantastic experience: SunCoast Traffic School is a great company that has dedicated instructors. My daughter took driving lessons with Tom and Danny. They are both professional, knowledgeable, and hardworking. SunCoast even allowed us to rent the car to take the licence test. My daughter passed the test on her first try. We are very happy with the company and their services. Also, we highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: The office lady is very awesome and understanding my instructor was awesome they will listen they will guide you so just listen and pay attention to the signs n you will be in good hands they help me score high but nobody is perfect just try n do it your all thank you guys you are a blessing Danny is cool n he will guide you in the right path so don't get scared it's your future to become the best version of you

Fantastic experience: Was very nervous with driving, but worked with Lisa and she helped me so much. I was able to take my test and get my license with "the highest score of the day". Definitely recommend Lisa, she is awesome and a fantastic driving instructor.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience with Lisa! She taught more than just driving techniques but also personal safety and awareness. We used another school (with a similar name) for older sister and this experience was better by far. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Suncoast Traffic School’s team is wonderful. Scheduling and communication by Judy was excellent. Tom taught my daughter how to drive including how to drive defensively with strategies to maintain safety. My daughter’s confidence behind the wheel improved immensely after taking lessons with Tom. We are grateful and will see the team when our second child gets her permit.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had the best possible driving lessons from Tom! He was very professional and had the true gift of teaching my teen the importance of being a safe driver. Judy was always pleasant and efficient with getting my teen scheduled for lessons! I would highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: The best decision i have ever made! Judy is wonderful,nice and is willing to work with your schedule. My instructor tom was so amazing! Taught me so many tips and tricks that got me to pass the test in no time. Tom is great!!!

Negative experience: I will never recomend this traffic school . I spend over $400. A lot of hours driving around and he only took my son once to the practice were is the test on the first call they warranty the student will be ready and past. Well my son did not and the wont even offered a discount just more clases a more money. They are just after the money . I'm a single mom ans it took a lot to pay for this for them to not make an better afort to help my kid .is very easy and fast to just ask for more 100.00 clases and to pay again the same rate to go and retake the test. Just a scam no consideration at all. Why did I spend all this money for.

Fantastic experience: I searched and searched for a school that offered driving lessons for my son as I was scared to death to teach him how to drive in this crazy traffic here in the Tampa area. I'm SO glad I found SunCoast Driving School. Tom was the best instructor I could have ever asked for and his wife Judy worked with us and our schedules. Tom even met us half way in Trinity for every lesson! He was patient, kind and always put safety first and has years of experience! My son passed his drivers test the first time with a 100%! Well worth every penny! Thank you Judy & Tom! You are running a fantastic business!!!

Fantastic experience: Greg is just GREAT!!! He is soft spoken, friendly and extremely patient. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. His wife Judy keeps you updated with any new openings available either by phone or text. My daughter and I both receive lessons and are very happy. I definitely recommend going with their company

Fantastic experience: We had heard great things about Greg at Suncoast so when a friend from Jamaica wanted to learn how to drive, I drove her an hour from Pinellas county to learn from Greg. He was amazing! Very patient and thorough. My friend was a nervous driver, but he put her at ease and built her confidence in her driving ability. He knows the routes the DMV uses and takes you through them to practice, which really helps when it comes time to take the driving test. Judy in his office was so nice and helpful. Her response to questions and schedules was prompt and very courteous. Greg has a real passion for teaching people to drive safely and it shows! They have my highest recommendation.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 if you are taking the new driver behind the wheel training. I had a great experience with Greg, he taught me everything i needed to know, not just to pass the test, but to drive safely in general. i learned a lot, and most importantly I had fun.

Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school, Greg spent two hours with my teenage son giving him valuable hands on instruction, building his confidence to get behind the wheel after having been in a recent accident, so that he can now gain experience he needs to get his operators. We will be using him again right before the test!
