Fantastic experience: Donna and Jory are so good to work with. Donna does a very good job of teaching you the right way and safe way to drive and do maneuvers and the best way to correct your mistakes. I've had a very good experience learning how to become a good CDL driver.

Negative experience: They take forever to get you tasted out when you are done putting in your hours, 3 months now over 5 test canceled and only one was the students fault. Cancel test dates are way to common at this place, and the worst part about it is they don't care how long it takes you..... you could be earning money if you go somewhere else... Just trying to save you from making a bad mistake. The worst experience ever...

Fantastic experience: Upon walking in on day one I had never touched a manual vehicle of any kind. With the help of the instructors who have years of experience behind them I learned how to drive a 10 speed safely by the time I walked out and got my cdl. I would recommend this school to anyone like me, someone who may be walking in blind on day one. I was and everything worked out. Love the school

Fantastic experience: If your looking to get your cdl I recommend 160 driving Academy at the Springfield location. The instructors are skilled professionals who will do there best to get you to learn... this school has an app you can follow to see how your being graded on knowledge and skills.. it really helps you see areas you struggle on.. And Jory was really helpful with getting my app up and running because I had issues logging in at first... really great team... Looking back I know that I wouldn't go with any different school

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend 160 driving academy! Jory is a great guy! He will have you started in the program very quickly! Tim and Stan at the yard are really great trainers. They definitely know what they are talking about and will teach you everything you need to know to PASS the CDL driving test! I, myself was one and done, meaning i passed on the first try. It's all what YOU put into the program if you want to make it. This is a growing field and the jobs are endless. Thanks to all the guys at 160 Driving Academy for making my dreams a reality!!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here at Springfield MO 160 Driving Academy. Jory in the office explained thoroughly everything I needed to before I got started and was able to answer any questions I had without hesitation. When I got out to the training site I found comfort in the experience and ability of the instructors Tim and Stan. If you do want they ask of you and do it the way they ask of you there will be no reason you can't pass all three portions of the exam the first time (one and done). There are other schools to choose from and I did my do diligence in researching them all. At the end of the day I chose the best one. 160 Driving Academy there is absolutely no better Choice. I'm doing great out here in my new career thanks to these guys! 160 Driving Academy just do it!

I appreciate all the help they gave fellow students and myself. Fantastic experience: All the instructors are brilliant they could’ve taught a course at Harvard. I was a terrible student until suddenly it clicked because they were focused on teaching me with the proper use and functions of the truck. The maneuvers I got my CDL and so grateful that I did. This school helped me SO much

Fantastic experience: Am thankful to this school for helping me get my cdl A. Amber and Jorry at the office were courteous and professional. Dave took me through the 1st week to be able to get the permit. My incredible instructors at the yard I can't thank them enough! From teaching me how to drive a manual semi, safety on the road and everything despite the equipment. Cooperate should work on providing you guys newer/better equipment. Fantastic experience: I started 160 driving academy at the end of November 202! I didn’t know anything about trucking really except it was a dream of mine, so I had to go for it. From the moment I walked in and met Jory I knew that I came to the right place! He was very friendly answered all my questions knew that I was nervous but comforted me and never made me feel like it was just because they wanted money. I spent a week with Jory and then went to the yard. I was even more nervous and questioning my choices to become a truck driver.however I expressed my fears and all of the driving instructors reassured me that I was going to learn and do great i trusted them and that’s exactly what happened! I got my license with one try and have my job and a brand new truck and I owe it all to the wonderful instructors at 160 in Springfield that made this all possible! I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to get a cdl!!!! Good luck and be safe!

Fantastic experience: If you don’t know how to drive a truck and trailer, you’ll leave this school knowing everything you need to know. Can’t thank Jory enough for opening the door and answering any question I had, made me feel comfortable about the decision which is the best decision of my life. Can’t thank the amazing instructors who guided me into my success especially Tim, Stan, Steve. Also Matt he’s ok ;) if you do what they tell you, you WILL be get the cdl license. Got mine the first try thanks to the help of those guys and can’t thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: Working with Jory, Steve and Tim was amazing. Jory helped me out when I became sick and needed to reschedule my start date. Steve and Tim at the yard helped me once I got started to catch up and exceed even my own expectations. I can not begin to express the amount of paitence and professionalism that these individuals bring to the table to ensure not only me, but everyone that takes their course succeeds in passing and obtaining their CDL. I would recommend them 100 times over.

Fantastic experience: I transferred from the Kansas City location to complete my training. Jory was very helpful and made the transition easy. Steve at the yard was amazing!! He was patient and helped sharpen my skills to pass my CDL test. I cannot say enough good things about these folks and this location. I definitely recommend working with Jory and Steve.

Fantastic experience: I had an awesome time. It was a fun learning environment and by the end I felt like my classmates and instructor were like family. I was actually kinda bummed out when it was over. If you’re thinking about doing it, stop thinking and just do it. Between the office manager and our instructor, they made sure all of us had jobs lined up before we even graduated and I make more money now ever have.

Fantastic experience: I had a good experience at 160 Driving Academy and learned a lot from the instructor Jeromy. The manager Jory is also very helpful, and he helped me find employment opportunities after graduation. With the skills I learned, I was able to pass my CDL on a Thursday, apply for employment on Friday, and land a job by Monday. If you study and work hard, it can be done, and the instructors are there for you every step of the way to help ensure your success and safety out on the road.

Fantastic experience: The manager Jory is very professional and helps get you set up and going with all the learning materials you’ll need. The instructors, Jeromy and Steve, are very experienced and work hard to ensure that each student has the knowledge and skills they need to pass the CDL exam with a big focus on safety first. Every day pre-trip inspection is practiced so that you are well prepared on test day. One thing in particular that I liked about the school was that I learned to drive and was tested in a manual transmission truck, so I have no restrictions on my CDL. Additionally, I was also able to gain some experience driving an automatic on the yard. I recommend 160 Driving Academy to anyone who wants to become a truck driver.

Fantastic experience: Just graduated yesterday. It all starts with your first week of class. The manager Jory is very professional and courteous. Then when you get to the yard and start driving the instructors Jeromy and Steve have a very hands on approach to training you the RIGHT WAY. I will also add that I had a couple of bad experiences at the Strafford testing site, as one of the examiners is not very polite or professional. Jory set me up with a test date at the Willow Springs location. The officer there Earl was very pleasant to test with. I highly recommend 160 Driving Academy for anyone looking to get their CDL. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Fantastic experience: My experience was even greater than I had thought it would be. Instructors were very knowledgeable and professional. They gave me the tools to be a successful driver and more importantly, how to operate a commercial vehicle safely. I would recommend anyone who is serious about getting a CDL to come check this school out! Great staff that truly CARES! The instructor's sole mission is to make sure everyone is SAFE. They provide you with the tools to have a successful career and make sure you're ready to hit the road with the knowledge you'll need to be successful. Out of all the schools I looked into, 160 had the best reviews and I am truly happy I decided to go with them.
