Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experience with this group getting my motorcycle license! Brad, Roland, and Trip (William) were extremely helpful, patient and understanding, which made all the difference in calming my nerves. They are also hilarious, and so fun to be around, which was very disarming and provided a great learning environment. I hope to see them all again thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: This weekend I took the three wheel motorcycle training course with my instructor Tony. I cannot tell you how incredibly structured, informative and practical this training course is for anyone taking a three wheel or I’m sure a two wheel course. Everything flowed into each other, it led you to the next step and the next step and the next step with ease and confidence. Now, as for my instructor, Tony, there aren’t enough words to put in this that can explain the professionalism, enthusiasm, calm, demeanor, supportive mentality, observing coach, knowledgeable and an overall asset to the company. Anybody who gets him as a coach will learn so much. This company is a professional training Company with the utmost professionalism and standards of excellence. If there was a way to give 10 stars I would, but I give a highly, highly, highly recommended five stars for both the course the trainer and the instructions. I wish everybody a good ride.

Negative experience: As a master scuba diver trainer and science teacher, I have spent 29 years of my life as an educator. I know great teaching and I know bad teaching. This past weekend was an example of some of the worst that I have ever experienced. I was extremely excited to learn to ride and pass in order to get my license. This excitement was instantly deflated upon entering the parking lot and seeing two guys sitting on bikes. Neither made any attempt at introducing themselves, so I had to ask if they were the instructors. "That's what some say." one guy said. About 20 minutes later, he finally introduced himself to the class as Wendel.. Later, as we were talking around the bikes, suddenly a guy appeared wearing a shirt that said "Pretending to be a Responsible Adult." I seriously thought he had been sleeping behind the trailer in the bushes. Yes, that bad of an initial, highly unprofessional presentation. Roland, one of our "coaches." This first day these two attempted to instruct by belittling, berating and bullying their customers. Yet they screwed up on their own demonstrations to us. Laughing it off. One lady, a nurse from the Caribbean was reduced to tears. I found out through talking with her that she had come to Florida to learn to ride with her husband, who already had a bike. She later attempted to ask Roland to be patient. He told her that he didn't have time, there were too many people in the class. He repeatedly called her "honey." He attempted to yell at me towards the beginning of the riding. I emphatically told him that I would not take that disrespect. He immediately threatened to "counsel me out of class." These two continued to bully the lady to the point where she became frozen from fear in her ability to change gears. She later told me and another student that she was physically ill from the stress of these two. I was embarrassed to be American. Mumbled, hurried instructions from Wendel continued throughout the course. Fortunately the other riders were so helpful with each other, whispering what they thought he was talking about and what the next exercise would be. At one point, he attempted to belittle me in my confused state and I had to remind him that I was there to learn and asked for his patience. He ignored that. The next day, the nurse did not show up. Several students discussed how horrible the treatment of her had been the previous day. I had thought several times of losing out on my money for the course just to tell them how terrible they were being to her. I regret now that I did not stand up to their bullying. The next day, Roland actually became a good instructor. I don't know if he had gone home and thought about the level of incompetence he had shown the day before or was affected by the loss of a customer. Wendel continued to demonstrate the worst possible teaching methods and I had to sit away from him during breaks just to maintain my attitude. It was difficult. As an educator, I know burnout. It is why I personally don't teach anymore and have retired. Wendel seems to have become burned out. I would not recommend him to anyone wanting to actually learn about riding a motorcycle. Roland, however, could be an excellent instructor. I hope that he never causes another customer to quit. He can be entertaining, uses excellent personal experiences to provide insight into riding safely, showed incredible patience that last day with everyone. He walked the course a few times to highlight where the next challenge would be for us. He uses a '"teacher voice" in an easy to understand manner, asking everyone if there were any questions or confusion. We were asked to write reviews at the end of class and one student said out loud at the table, 'Two old guys talking about being in the pool and drinking adult beverages." This seemed to sum up Wendel's attitude the entire weekend. He seemed to want to be anywhere but on that course. If you take this class, I would recommend Roland. I believe he learned more from this weekend than I did. How to treat customers and teach.

Fantastic experience: Bill and Rowland were amazing instructors and far exceeded my expectations not only as such but as transforming me from minimal experience on a moped to feeing comfortable riding a real Motorcycle and breaking me of all my bad habits and teaching me important skills. This is the right place if you want to truly learn and quickly how to be a safe and skillful rider out in the world. My only suggestion is to repaint the lines on the course as they were hard to see. I will be forever grateful for the weekend spent learning how to ride.

Positive experience: Very straightforward, no frills motorcycle school. I went in having never rode anything past a bicycle and left ready for a motorcycle license. But I don't recommend doing that. The training is fairly fast paced, and they expect you to have some experience with dirt bikes or scooters first. The instructors can be a little gruff, but they pay individual attention to each student and make sure that everyone is ready for the exam. Great place if you don't like to feel like someone is holding your hand the entire time.

Negative experience: Reply to Reply: If that bike is 290lbs then the Navi specifications online have to be completely wrong! As I can tell how much lighter and smaller the Navi is compared to the bike I rode in the course. Also, yes you said I could use my Navi only IF I had liability insurance which I was not able to get in a few hours notice, since the class was next morning. Again, I was not expecting and was not told that I was going to ride a full size manual gear motorcycle for a scooter endorsement. Original: I was referred to this place by RiderNow Powersports of Daytona Beach after I purchased a 109cc automatic transmission scooter from them. I called them and explained to them that I was told by RNP that I need a "motorcycle endorsement" for a 109cc automatic transmission scooter. I explained to them that in my 49 years I've NEVER ridden a motorcycle before, NEVER. They asked me if I've ridden a bicycle before, I answered "for sure." They told me is just a 2day course and that I should be fine....we talked price, I was transferred to a lady to make the full payment up front. I made the payment and was in class the next day at 7:30am. We got like 2 hours theory in a classroom and then proceeded to the Riding Field. To my surprise, here I was trying to learn how to ride for the First time in my life on an almost 500lbs full size manual transmission motorcycle!!! I was in shock and intimidated from the very beginning! I tried my best, but I was having the hardest time between the left hand clutch, shifts on the left foot, brake on the right foot, and throttle and brake on the right hand. All of this as I was trying to balance the huge heavy motorcycle. I got so frustrated that I told the instructor that I need to stop, that it was not what I signed for. The automatic gear scooter I purchased is only 237lbs and less than half the size of that motorcycle, max speed is 50mph. I wish they would've told me before that the scooter "endorsement" course was on a 500lbs manual transmission regular motorcycle, since the money is not refundable. Facilities, and the instructor were nice. Lesson learned, ask All the questions possible before making a payment.

Adventure Rider Training

The motorcycle that you rode, a Kawasaki BN125, weighs 290 lbs, fully fueled, not 500lbs.

I realize that truth may be a little unsettling but here you go: https://www.topspeed.com/motorcycles/motorcycle-reviews/kawasaki/2009-kawasaki-eliminator-125-ar72935.html

Full-size motorcycle? LOL

I wish that you’d have called me again to discuss this as opposed to heading straight for a review.

You always have the option to use your Navi in the class as we discussed this week during enrollment.

Fantastic experience: Al and James were both great. They are both professionals and are well versed in teaching from beginner to advanced riders. They make the class fun and enjoyable without sacrificing safety as the top priority. Definitely recommend this class to anyone who wants to get their motorcycle endorsement while learning needed skills and how to ride safely. I enjoyed the class and learned some tips on how to ride better.

Fantastic experience: I took the course and wanting to get my license because I have always wanted a ride a motorcycle. I went there with no experience at all. They way they taught us was so helpful. They start from the basics and worked their way to more advanced drills. I was so nervous I would fail the evaluation. But to my surprised I passed with a perfect score!!!! I definitely recommend these guys if you are looking to get your motorcycle license or more training!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with my experience here. I initially took the course with James and Marty and did not pass. I allowed my nerves to get the best of me. But come the next weekend I returned (for free) and took the course with James and Alan. They both were super encouraging and kept me motivated the whole time and allowed me to successfully pass the exam with an almost perfect score. I’m so thankful for my experience here and could not thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: Wow 5star+ awesome course! I did the Basic Rider Course on Saturday/Sunday in Port Orange, and I was blown away by how much I was able to improve in one weekend. We had a nice small group of 5 and our Instructor Al is amazing! He loves his job and you can tell because it really made a difference. He coached us all attentively giving great tips, instruction and support. Also he made it so much fun! Honestly, I was sad when the weekend was over. I will definitely be back for some of their other more advanced courses once I get some more experience under my belt. Thank you Adventure Rider Training!

Fantastic experience: Best instructors out there. Al and James were very informative and helpful. They made the class very fun and made sure we were all given a chance to learn. They don't rush you if you are struggling. They make sure you know what you are doing when it comes to the final evaluations. I would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about an endorsement.

Fantastic experience: I learned a lot from these guys. The instructors made sure you knew what to do and if you had questions they answered them. They gave good advice on how to improve where you made a mistake. If you want to learn how to ride a bike, these guys wont steer you wrong. Get ready for a written test first thing in the morning, just a heads up.

Negative experience: I went to take a class at the new symrna location and was told that the location was at the airport. Come to find out it is behind the police station behind the airport behind some other rode then 2 buildings down . For any normal human being I don't think they would have know all those directions un less they were told. I finally get to the location and was denied from taking the class because I was late. WOW! If the owner would've told me how 2 get there I wouldn't have been late. Then he was rude and turned the blame on me like it was my fault . No its his and the business horrible location. I would definitely not recommend this business because they are rude and don't know how to treat their customers.
