Fantastic experience: We were so worried that my daughter wasn't going to go to get her drivers liscence by the time she turned 16 due to Covid-19, but A-1 Driving school was amazing and helped us make it work. They were professional in every sense of the word. Made time for us and helped my daughter get her liscence in time for her birthday. Thanks so much!

Fantastic experience: In 2018, I took a complete driver education course in seat at Orem location. I had an amazing experience interacting with the A 1 driving school staff. They were very friendly and ready to help with everything I needed. My special gratitude is for my driving instructor Mrs. Janice. She fully prepared me for both theoretical and practical tests. Driving lessons were interesting and informative, and included not just lectures, but also video lessons, tests, and educational games. She shared a lot of motivational stories from her driving experience with us, her students, so we could better understand what real-world driving is. Mrs. Janice was great. I felt safe, confident, and supported while I was behind the wheel. Overall, the A 1 driving school is awesome. I highly recommend this school to everyone.

Negative experience: Wouldn't let me cancel an appointment. Charged me $30 to cancel an observation. Yes, it is in the contract that I signed. I just hoped they would be helpful and reasonable. They will not. Also, very condescending on the phone.

Fantastic experience: They were totally flexible when working with my super tight work schedule. The instructors were friendly and helped me feel confident and relaxed as I was driving. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helped me to work at my own pace. Overall, working with A-1 Driving School was an awesome experience.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous to take my road test but the man that was with me during the test was so nice and kind. He passed me even I made some little mistakes. It was a short test, like 10-15 minutes. I would definitely recommend them.

Positive experience: Did a great job doing drivers ed for my son. They were quick, efficient, and easy to get along with.

Negative experience: It was a horrible experience doing my road test with them. I was so nervous and the instructor made me feel worse. Don't do the test with them unless you are a master driver. He would hurry me to change lanes. The do a test even more extensive than the DMV itself. Make drive ling distances which rise the probabilities to fail in little mistakes. Specially when they make you nervous. At the end the instructor said you will havevto pay again for other test. Which I did but with other driving school and it was all different. I passed with the other school.

Positive experience: A1 isn't too bad when I took my driving test through them and failed I practiced everything they told me was going to be on the test for five hours before my driving test. they told me to practice three point turns parallel parking etc. I practice parallel parking in front of a brick wall in a parallel parking lot for three hours before my test. I was pretty confident and ready to parallel park. But on the test there was no parallel parking when the time came there was curb parking. curb parking and parallel parking are not the same thing and can be very different. something I wasn't told to be prepared for and something I wasn't prepared for I'm very upset that I paid the money for something I wasn't prepared for because I wasn't told all the information just make sure you get all the info so you don't waste your time and money
