Fantastic experience: I am so grateful that I found Yolanda’s driving school! It wasn’t hard, because they are the top driving school around here. I had a great time learning from Victor, whose calm and composed teaching approach helped me overcome this great fear of driving that I had in me for the longest time. Also appreciated Fred for the perfect refresher he gave me right before my driving test (which I passed on my first go!). The sign up method is quick and easy, and Yolanda is great with scheduling all lessons as per your convenience. Definitely recommend getting the freeway lesson as well, because it’s quite insightful (thanks again, Victor). Definitely recommend to all first-time drivers, and I am sure the instructors’ precise insight will help experienced drivers as well!

Fantastic experience: Super grateful I found this school..my instructor was piedad she is an amazing teacher , she was very kind and patient , she explained everything well and clear about driving safety and what to expect at that actual road test , as well as made me feel confident in my driving, super thankful for her , would definitely recommend this school for anyone wanting to learn to drive

Fantastic experience: My personal experience was great with Luis. I passed my exam on the first try. He was a patient and very good instructor. Always on time to every single one of my lessons!!! Thank you Yolanda’s Driving School you are the best. Highly recommended to everyone!

Positive experience: I decided to take this school after passing my permit. I've taken four hours and had three instructors: Robin, Victor, and Piedad. My first hour was with Robin, and since I've had no previous driving experience, he was taking it easy on me, showing me the basic rules on driving in a friendly manner. My second and third hours were with Victor, who taught me the same rules like Robin did, but took it up and notch, implementing the driver to use the pedals, allowing me to know how it feels on the road. In addition, he allowed me to take breaks whenever necessary, especially when I feel stressed out, so it made me feel a little bit more comfortable and confident when it comes to my driving. My final hour was with Piedad, who I didn't have a pleasant experience with because of her teaching method. Her teaching method was if I was taking the official behind-the-wheel test, but the lack of breaks when I asked to pull over, giving me the cold shoulder, not explaining clearly, and believing that I should've already known soured my experience by a little bit and made me feel a little more anxious when I go on the road. Thankfully, I've regained my self-confidence now when I do my independent driving practice. In conclusion, I think Yolanda's Driving School is a neat place if you're looking for a driving school. If I had to give some advice, I would suggest asking for the same instructor that would best suit your needs.

Fantastic experience: Fred was my son’s driving instructor. My son enjoyed his lesson him. I would recommend Fred for driving lessons.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Fred and he was very helpful. He tells you every little detail the dmv is looking for and gives you little tips to help you remember the rules of the road. Really recommend them if it’s your first time driving or for whatever reason.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Fred and he is the best driving instructor I got. I started from how to start a car to confidently drive it. He taught me each and every point which will be taken into consideration during driving test and will be helpful while driving on the actual road. My husband also went with 3-4 instructors from other driving schools, but he liked the way Fred teaches driving and noticing fine mistakes while driving. I will always recommend Yolanda driving school and Fred for their great service!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Yolanda's Driving School! The instructor that I was with (Yolanda) was someone that made it easy for me to understand the areas in which I lacked prior to my driving test. She's someone that is both interactive and informative to the point where I no longer felt nervous when preparing for the test. I've got nothing but the upmost respect for Yolanda and the way she helped me! I passed in the first test I had taken and all the arrangements were set by Natalie. Thank you Yolanda Driving School!

Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving exam and Yolanda's Driving School played a big role in that. The instructor was patient and observant and offered great advice and information for building the skills needed to pass the DMV exam. Driving in general feels a lot easier now. Many thanks to Fred and the other instructors here, as well as the professional staff in the office. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I took the 1 hour class and the DMV test support service. Yolanda picked me up at 7am and we drove to Glendale for 1 hr 45 min practice and she guided me through the DMV to get the paperwork done. I passed my test in the first attempt. Yolanda is great, calm , composed and points out the mistakes . Highly recommended. Glendale DMV is good too. I already knew driving and just did this to make sure I don't falter. All the best everyone.

Fantastic experience: I am glad I found Yolanda’s Driving School, the instructors are honest with their feedback. Yolanda, Cristian and Fred were my instructors. Natalie worked out my appointments well. It was my first time sitting in the driver’s seat, I literally knew nothing. I took 15-16hrs classes. My first classes and basics were with Yolanda and she was friendly. She told me I need extra classes. I had 2 hours with Cristian and he was very calm and composed, guides well and gives great feedback. My last two classes were with Fred and he tells you exactly what you need to know and do on the test.Take classes with Fred and also on your DMV test day. He is friendly, practical and supportive. I passed my behind the wheels test at Pasadena DMV in the first attempt.

Fantastic experience: Took the drivers ed and the behind the wheel training here. Got my permit and my license first try at the DMV in Pasadena. 10/10 satisfactory! Totally recommend if you want to get your license once you turn 16.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy that I found Yolanda's Driving School! As an adult who had previously failed my driving test re-learning how to drive, I had a lot of anxiety about getting behind the wheel. Alexandra is an AMAZING instructor and a lovely person. She is kind, patient, and just a joy to spend lessons with. I finally was able to pass my driving test in Pasadena. Thank you so much to Alexandra and Yolanda's driving school for making it such an enjoyable experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Fantastic experience: LOVED THEM VERY UNDERSTANDING FLEXIBLE AND ACCOMMDATING I HAD A MAJOR STROKE 10 YEARS AGO SO WAS OUT OF PRACTICE AND NEED TO GET MY SKILLS REFRESHED AND GET MY CONFIDENCE BACK TO DRIVE AGAIN. ROBIN IS THE BEST INSRUCTOR. HE'S PATIENT GIVES GREAT IDEAS AND SOLUTIONS TO CORRECT WHATEVER YOU'RE STRUGGLING TO IMPROVE EASY. DEFINITLY RECOMMENDED THANK YOU SUSIE =)

Fantastic experience: Cristian was my son’s instructor and thanks to his patience, calmness and detailed guidance, my son passed his first time at the Pasadena location with only (3) points deducted. His instructor at the DMV told him he was a safe driver and to keep doing exactly as he had been taught. Thank you, Cristian! And a huge thanks to Anna, who was always so helpful and responsive with scheduling and any questions. We’ll be back with our younger son soon!

Fantastic experience: Loved the service here passed on my first try! thanks to Robin and Christian who were very helpful and patient throughout and got assisted very well to schedule my appointment and was walked throughout till I finished. highly would recommend this place to any friend or anyone!

Fantastic experience: Both of my kids went through Yolanda’s. Cristian worked with both of them. He was always patient and great at explaining things to them. My daughter passed her 1st time at the Pasadena office. My son, although he excels at most things, took more time to truly grasp driving. Cristian was honest and very helpful teaching him. His first attempt he came into a situation that he had never been in and unfortunately didn’t pass. We got 4 more hours for him with Cristian and he passed with only 1 point taken off his second time. I’m glad he didn’t pass the first time because I realize he wasn’t ready. But those 4 extra hours and having him drive everyday is what gave him the confidence to pass the next time. They only had 2 people working and they both went on their lunch break right after each other so we waited for 2 1/2 hours before he went on the drive test…so he was frustrated but gained his composure and passed. I do highly recommend Yolanda’s and Cristian!!! I know they truly instilled confidence in both of my kids. Thank you Cristian…and everyone at Yolanda’s.

Fantastic experience: I passed at first attempt thanks to the various instructors at this school! I had Christian, Robbin, Fred and Piedad for my classes. They all were very calm, professional and encouraging which helped to me to gain confidence in my driving. They have different styles but all gave great advice to help me improve. Amazing teachers! Super happy that I went with Yolanda driving school!

Fantastic experience: Took my driving test and passed! I had Yolanda as my instructor and she was professional with her job. I made some critical errors while practicing, but she was calm to correct me. She taught me very well, and I was able to pass without a problem. I definitely recommend looking into their sessions.

Fantastic experience: Yolanda has very good instructors. I used to drive infrequently in Korea, but I have never driven in the U.S. I signed up for 4-hour lesson + 1 hour warm-up on the day of. I met 3 different instructors, and they were all very good in guiding me in their own styles.

Fantastic experience: I bought the 9 hour package and had the best driving experience with Fred. He was very friendly, supportive, and provided me with the best constructive criticism to improve my driving skills. When I started driving, I was super nervous to hit the road, but then when I had Fred beside me he gave me the confidence and I enjoyed every bit of it and learned a lot from him. Overall, this driving school is the best. I would recommend it to the fullest.

Fantastic experience: I had Chris and Yolanda help me learn how to drive with the 6 hour driving package. Honestly, the were so patient with me. As we moved more towards test day, Yolanda was great at giving me reminders and pushing me to be more prepared as a driver. I decided afterwards to take the driving test with them -- we drove around the Whitter DMV before starting the test and I PASSED! Would definitely recommend to others in the area that want to learn how to drive but don't have anyone to teach them/ or are anxious about driving with their parent
