Negative experience: Whoever was driving car 2302 down Linebaugh around 3 pm should probably remember that they are representing a business very poorly as they speed and cut people off. They could use driving lessons themself.

Fantastic experience: Billy was my instructor and he was encouraging and helpful, and provided good feedback and tips. I got in the practice I needed and learned about what the physical test for a license will cover, and would recommend him as an instructor.

Fantastic experience: I drove with John for the last 2 Saturdays — his small talk’s great, but what I really appreciate is how he taught parking. He’s very calm in the passenger seat and I was able to focus well, and I’m definitely improving as a driver thanks to him. This is a great driving school!

Fantastic experience: For my second day back, my tutor John had been able to take me and my twin sister (who had lesson before) onto the expressway and with ease, I was confident in my ability to navigate it, even without prior experience or warning. This is a really good place to start driving! Upon editing this, I accidentally deleted my comments about Billy, my first tutor from this service. Despite that, I still am entitled to say that these tutors are good at what they do! Thank you to Billy as well.

In just one class he has gotten my daughter to learn a a lot and he has been extremely patient with her. He is very knowledgeable and his vast experience makes him a great instructor. Fantastic experience: I purchased a 10 pack lesson and couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. Colleen was my primary instructor and she made me feel incredibly safe and confident in my driving and made sure to explain what we were doing with great detail. I also had the pleasure of getting to ride with John a few times who was very kind and also had a lot of great knowledge to deliver. No matter how old or experienced you are of a driver it never hurts to get a little help from the professionals.

Fantastic experience: Best money ever spent. All the instructors were fantastic - Colleen especially!! I appreciate the detailed report after each lesson. Having him use their car for the actual DMV test was a game changer.

Doug’s calm demeanor, clear instruction, and encouraging attitude make the perfect recipe for a novice learning how to drive. The instructors are so patient and truly care about teaching new drivers. They even offer a service to accompany the student to the DMV on test day. This allowed our son to learn in a comfortable and safe environment (without anxious parents in the backseat!). Thank you Colleen, Billy, John, Jim and Sara! It does take a village!

Fantastic experience: We highly recommend Auto Safety Driving school. Our daughter mainly drove with Colleen and Billy (one occasion Doug) and they were all wonderful. They were very patient and kind and kept us informed of where they were going and what they did. We used the concierge service for the driver's test and Colleen kept my daughter at ease and was a great calming influence. Big thanks to all of the instructors as well. Will definitely use them again when our son turns the driving age!

Fantastic experience: Billy was amazing! My incredibly anxious ADHD teen had amazing lessons with Billy and my teen passed his driving test on the first try. Billy is calm and reassuring. He is especially good with students with ADHD and anxiety. We drove all the way from the west side of Pinellas county to Hillsborough to do these lessons with Billy. He is that good! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Such an excellent experience for both my kids! They both went through a full course one with Jim and the other with Billy, then my son took four additional refresher courses also with Billy. They liked the instructors and improved immensely over the course . We took advantage of the dmv concierge service they offer and over spring break they both took their road test and passed first try. Officially we have licensed teens. Oh boy :) Thank you to the instructors and staff who helped us through it all!!

Positive experience: We had some problems with communication, but it seeems like they are working on it. I received a very nice phone call today from Sara who wanted to resolve the communication issue. We have been very happy with the instructors. My daughter's driving is coming alone nicely.

Fantastic experience: Book Coleen!! Overall such amazing experience, Diane who works the front desk was so efficient and fast with organizing my lessons and my driving test. Coleen is such an amazing teacher, I went in to the lessons as someone who only drove around in a parking lot, after the lessons with her I am so confident on major roads and great at all the rest and passed my driving test first try. She is very sweet and makes you feel comfortable in the car which helps you do better in your driving. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

Positive experience: The instructor Colleen was great with the lessons and our daughter highly enjoyed her time with her. The 3 star review is for the administrative and scheduling (that would be a 1 or 2 at best). We get things happen but for just 4 lessons scheduled we had 3 cancelled on us, had to follow up more than once to reschedule and only received 1 of the 4 progress reports when we were supposed to receive one after each lesson. We were also told upon the last lesson we would receive a certificate for insurance as verification the lessons were completed. We are waiting on that as well and have followed up.

Diane was very responsive and informative on getting everything scheduled and relaying details of what to expect as well as shuffling things quickly when schedules changed. They also make it super easy by coming to the house or school to pick her up and then bring her home for the driving lessons. Colleen was my daughter's instructor and truly helped her be more confident behind the wheel as well as thoroughly preparing her for her driving exam. My daughter passed the 1st time taking it and now I have more peace of mind when she is on the road by herself.

Fantastic experience: I searched around for a driving school. Had two other schools refuse to return my call, no communication at all. I was trying to get my son his license before he left for military duty. I came across these folks, Diane, and from the first minute they were awesome. Called me back within 15mins, gave me prices, info, answered a ton of questions I had. I eventually settled on one class. They offered to pick my son up at home or at a site. We decided to do pick up at Westshore Mall. Instructor Jim shows up, asks a couple questions, and off they went. My son had been driving a bit with me, but I wanted an unbiased opinion. My son felt great about the lesson and felt he was ready to take the BIG test. Again, scheduled their Concierge service, pick up at home, a quick lesson, and then the test. Couldn't have went smoother. The classes are a little high in price, but I promise you they are 110% worth it. They will not let you down. Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, no hiding from their potential customers. I can't thank Jim and Diane enough.

Negative experience: Just encountered an Auto Safety Driving School vehicle in Lealman. The driver, an older man on his cell phone, cut into traffic causing me to slam on my brakes. Not the person I want teaching new drivers.

Fantastic experience: I had six hours with my instructor Billy because I had some prior experiences he let me drive on the first day. I took the classes in May 2024 and got my license in September 2024. it was a fun experience and he taught everything I needed to know. Billy was patient , and I learned very quickly.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Driving School. recommendations from family friends and well worth it. Billy was an amazing teacher and got along well with Jai. TJ was great with scheduling logisitics. Will have our other child use the service soon. Highly recommend to any 15/16 driving learners

Fantastic experience: When I first contacted this establishment I was feeling extremely nervous about the idea of driving on the road. I am in my late 20’s, Florida roads are all relatively new to me, and I didn’t have any previous driving experience before taking my classes here. My instructor, Curtis, is friendly and, right off the bat, helped me to avoid overthinking and instead maintain a calm and alert mindset while driving. He explains all of the techniques I need to know, step by step, in a way that I can understand easily. He watches what I struggle with and gives me clear feedback and direction so that I’ll know exactly what I need to change. I could not have imagined having a better instructor to help me conquer my fears. Already 3 lessons in and I feel much more at ease about driving, to the point where I look forward to our fun lessons. Thank you so much for the excellent instruction, Curtis!! :)

Fantastic experience: My 16 yo son took the course with Curtis who was fantastic!! He taught him how to drive essentially in 6 weeks and my son loved his time with him. They talked about music and video games and they really hit it off. He passed the driving test with almost a perfect score. They are a bit pricey but worth every penny!!
