Negative experience: They took my $480. The app to book driving classes doesn’t work. Phoned, texted, and emailed. No reply. Now I am having to try getting my money back with PayPal.
We will gladly refund you the money we do not need customers like this. Every interaction with us gets recorded so there is no Misunderstanding. You called on June 26 @ 10:30 and at 11:15 with no message left we returned your phone call at 12:04 with no response. You called again on the 27th at 5:09 pm again with no message left. we responded at 5:42pm. Again with no response. There was never a text message or a email sent to us. Summertime is the busiest time for Driving Schools. Our scheduling button does not work because we pick up and drop off from home in the Woodlands and it’s imperative to schedule students close enough to each other so that a driving lesson can be properly taught. The refunding of your money through PayPal will take anywhere from 5 to 10 Business days.

Fantastic experience: I had fears about driving before my experience with Mr. Rafael, but he completely changed my perspective. He’s an excellent driving instructor who makes everything feel easy. Especially parallel parking, which I used to find intimidating. His teaching style really sticks with you because he reinforces key points by asking questions, repeating instructions, and having you practice maneuvers until they become second nature. I highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive!
Fantastic experience: At first, I was hesitant to choose Woodlands Driving School due to some negative reviews I saw online. I even considered other schools, but when I called them, they barely provided any helpful information and just directed me to their websites. Everything changed when I called Woodlands Driving School. Ms Nina answered my call and patiently explained all the details I needed to know. Despite my concerns, I requested Rafael as my instructor based on the reviews. Nina assured me that I would have one of their best instructors. On my first driving lesson, Mr Rafael exceeded all expectations. He was incredibly friendly, constantly explaining road signs, traffic laws, and car functions in a way that was far better than any book. I have had other driving instructors before but never learned as much as I did with Rafael. His calm demeanor made me feel safe and confident on the road. Ms Nina was also amazing — always friendly and responsive. Even if she couldn’t answer immediately, she quickly responded to my messages and efficiently handled my bookings. On the day of my driving test, Nina guided me through the process and ensured everything went smoothly. Road test instructor-Mr was also very polite and nice . I was nervous on the test day, but he immediately understood, gave me a moment to calm down, and made sure I felt comfortable. During the test, he remained friendly and supportive. I scored 11 points for mistakes, but he didn’t just leave it at that — he took the time to explain each mistake in detail, showing me where I needed to pay more attention. Thanks to Rafael, Nina, and the entire team, I passed my driving test, gained confidence, and truly understood safe driving. I highly recommend Woodlands Driving School and suggest ignoring any negative reviews. My experience was outstanding, and I am genuinely grateful to the entire team for their support.

Fantastic experience: We had the best experience with The Woodlands Driving School. It was just what we needed for our daughter to get comfortable with driving. During the week they will pick your child up at your home and bring them back after their lesson. Every time I needed information or needed to schedule a drive time Nina was there to help out. Even if She did not answer right away, I would always get a phone call back in a timely manner. The instructor Mr. Raphael was great. He was able explain things to my daughter in a way I would never have thought of. You also get to take the driving test with one of their instructors. You do not have to schedule something at the DMV and wait in a long line. I would definitely recommend The Woodlands Driving School to any one that asks.
Fantastic experience: I started off being super anxious and being scared of driving, I’m so so glad that I found this driving school, all the instructors that work there are super friendly! Especially Mr. Rafael he’s a great teacher and is really fun. He helped me a lot with being anxious about driving and taught me so much!

Fantastic experience: The school and its behind the wheel training program is great. The instructors are great as well, especially mr. Rafael. If you need to learn how to drive, this school is definitely my first recommended place Edit: Passed my test, and I attribute that achievement to mr. Rafael's great teaching, couldn't have done it without him
Negative experience: Terrible service and can’t get a hold of them. I will pursue legal action as they will not answer our calls. After we paid the full fee, it was very hard to get them to do the lessons for my daughter. We were able to get some sessions in but now they are not responding to our calls to schedule the remaining session and complete the training. This been going on for months.
It is really tough when you see a comment like this. This parent called the last time in October of last year. Today during our lunch break, which is between 2 to 3 PM. There was three calls from this number. (Every phone call gets recorded ) You do not have to follow up on any legal channels. We will un enroll the student immediately and refund you the remaining portion of the enrollment fee.
Positive experience: I love the woodlands driving school and Rafael is a great instructor! But I’ve been trying to contact someone to schedule my last class and no one’s picking up. Other than that it’s been great I’d just like to schedule my last class :-)
Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school, I recommend it 100%. They keep in touch with you all the time during your classes, excellent instructors, both Nina and Rafa, are patient and give excellent advice. And you can take your test with them, Mr. Heredia is an excellent examiner and gives very good advice.
Negative experience: No longer located in The Woodlands at 21 Waterway Plaza. They have relocated to Katy….

Fantastic experience: I took the lessons between February and March, and passed the exam right after the lessons. The instructor is very professional, patient and nice to me. He gave me more confidence to handle the skills and to drive 50 miles every day right after I got my license. Great job!

Negative experience: I’ve had much trouble contacting the school for appointments and my road test. Fine I get it you’re busy, but when the instructor makes creepy comments and distracts me while driving it’s very frustrating. Rafael suggested I should be with older men as a 16 year old minor. Besides that Mr Heredia got in my mothers face after she asked a simple question about what he wanted me to do. He told her she should have common sense and all she asked is what he wanted me to do in order to pass the test. I highly do not suggest this school.
(The test applicant drove on the wrong side of the road and did not make a full stop) It is so sad to see, When some people fail the road test they will do anything and everything to take revenge. Including, but not limited to trying to defame our instructors, or our reputation in any way, shape or form.
This student rescheduled the road test five different times we accommodated every time as much as we could she canceled driving appointments left and right in here. We went much out of our way to help them out but when she failed she did not have the courage to own up to it, and decided that it was best to attempt to smear us
Negative experience: I paid 120$ for 2 hrs , and they give break for 15 min i mean we just drive what are the breaks for ? If they do give breaks just mention on the website ! The time was 10 am and the instructor came at 10:30 . Yea and thats my fault that i didnt check the reviews .
Wow… I completely explain to you after the class that for every hour of education, you have a five minute break and that we did not take a break until the end of the lesson not only that but I ended up staying an extra 7 minutes explaining what else you needed to practice… the car has a GPS and I was there at 10:12 we left after all the interjections your father made at 10:24. Not to mention that we practiced everything and then more than we should have and that lesson.

Negative experience: Paid for 6 hours of behind the wheel training for a family member. Upon paying, I tried to schedule service online which you cannot. I called several times and no one answered the phone. I even left a message and was never contacted. After weeks of calling and waiting, I reached someone on the phone and requested a refund. I was told that they do not give refunds. I replied that the website does not state that no refunds are given. The rep said that the manager would contact me and DID NOT! You cannot keep payment for services that were not rendered!!! Stay far away from this company!
What Leticia failed to mention in the comment was that she had enrolled two years prior to her calling and attempting to schedule services. Records are only kept for one year. Hence we had no records of her enrolling with our company.
Negative experience: This place is a scam. We set up a driving test and the location listed on their website is incorrect and they don't answer their phones. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. IT IS A SCAM!
Do you know what’s tragic about this comment... We have a recorded voice conversation with the mother where it was explicitly explained as to the address and what they needed to bring we have an email that was sent directly to them that they never opened and we have a conversation A third phone call that was made because they had not shown up..... if people would just take the time to read hear and understand a comment like this would have never been left.... we work very hard to be honest truthful and sincere with the community and because of people like her we are forced to record every action that we take and even when given a full refund they still leave a negative silly goofy comment like this...
Negative experience: My experience is the same as the other one-star ratings here. They do not do what they say they are going to do and do not communicate, especially if it is around something you have already paid for in advance. I would not recommend them to anyone.
As a business owner this is hard to hear.. we send text messages, emails and record the conversations to make sure that we are doing our job properly... we explain the rules as spell that by the DPS... and yet people don’t follow any instructions...
Negative experience: I have been trying to contact this company for weeks. I have emailed, called and left messages, and texted my sons assigned driver with no response. I understand shutting down for Covid but some type of communication would be nice. We paid for all drives and the test in full but he has only received 1 drive. I can't fathom any excuse for anyone to not return at least one of my multiple email/phone/text messages.
Sadly this person does not even appear on our records... we have three people answering phone calls returning messages and emailing back. Please make sure you leaving a bad review for the correct company..
Negative experience: this school is a rip off. We paid in full for driving school they gave one drive time now wont return calls to schedule more. I have called them 6 times but nothing. Reply to your answw is i did leave 6 messages. I only called mon.- Fri still no call back
Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 6:30 for scheduling appointments Saturday and Sunday we do not answer phones but we are driving with students today June 15 the telephone company has been doing repairs all day our phones have been down.... if you left a message we will be glad to respond as soon as our phones are back up and running.
