Fantastic experience: I’m one of the students at top driver and the classes here were very helpful along with the staff especially Kevin who I noticed I learned the most from compared to the other teachers If anyone’s going into top drivers driving class ask for Kevin I’d definitely recommend it

He really made my experience special and I can’t thank him enough. He really taught me how to be a great driver and a great human being. Fantastic experience: Mr. Bello is a great instructor with fantastic driving tips to help pass the test and make an overall better driver. Me and other Fenwick students really like him as an instructor. When you take a top driver lesson request him and you will pass your driving test!

Negative experience: Just watched one of their male "instructors" flick off a woman and small child on 9th Ave in Melrose Park for no reason. Real classy place. And no, it was a blue Nissan with a Top Driver topper and graphics. I wouldn't be able to see a bumper sticker while looking at his face.

Fantastic experience: Mrs. Emily Gatley is the best teacher in the state of illinoise. GIVE THIS WOMAN A RAISE!!!

Negative experience: Find another driving school. Try. Excel or Michael.s While the instructors here are good it is IMPOSSIBLE to schedule in person driving lessons. They have all kinds of inflexible requirements. The slots all fill up within less than an hour of opening. And its impossible to schedule the lessons you have paid for. I have had 6 months of ongoing stress trying to schedule lessons and have only managed to schedule 7/8 required lessons. Other Top driver locations are the same. They do not have nearly enough instructors for the number of people they sign up.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience here. Mr. Coffey was my driving instructor for most of my lessons, and he's a great instructor. I learned a lot through him and he's extremely friendly and social. I recommend learning to drive here.

Negative experience: My first 2 children did Drivers Ed at school. Due to scheduling, my 3 son had to do it here. It has been nothing but difficult and frustrating from the very beginning. I chose to ignore the many ridiculous proceses they have in place(like calling the 2nd Tuesday of the month at noon to then only be able to book 2 driving sessions at a time, seriously?!) but tonight is my last straw. After sitting at a freight train for over 10 minutes, my son was 10 minutes late to his last and final make up in person class. He was told he could not come in because he was late. This is the same place that EVERY single week when I would pick my son up, they would be released from class a full 15 minutes before class was over. So I am a bit confused by this "policy." You can't be 10 minutes late when you literaly are stuck at a train trying to get there, but you CAN release the students 15 minutes early each and every class and that is ok? Bit of a double standard here. And now, once again, not only do I have to call one more time for 2 more in car sessions because they literally only will book 2 at a time, but I have to yet another classroom time. I have never seen a place more in need of a systems, and customer service overhaul, ever. I am so disappointed I paid more by sending him here when he would have already been completely finished had we just done it at the highschool. Editing to add: Why would I want to get the instructor in trouble? I will reiterate, your service is not good, it is incredibly disappointing and I am not the only unfavorable review on your GBL. I encourage you to take feedback and look at some of your processes to improve your business model in the future. Afterall, you are in the service business and every business needs reviews of 4.5 or better. Your choice to be defensive or to take feedback and see where you can potentially be better

Fantastic experience: Great teachers, caring and consistent. Very professional and good at explaining details to parents. Very happy with this process, it went very smooth. Would definitely consider this option for my other children as they prepare to drive.

Negative experience: took the online 6 hour class required for illinois please dont take it from this school awful slow service with a rude attitude i just went to other online courses because of this reason even though i lost my 50bucks just terrible

Fantastic experience: Money well spent. True professionals from the customer service representatives to the driving instructors. Hats off to all of the team at Top Driving School Elmhurst, IL. My son just completed all of his courses, and my daughter will be going there as well in another 4 years

Fantastic experience: Instructors were very knowledgeable and I feel completely prepared for the drivers test!! Customer support is super helpful as well, and I'm so glad I chose top driver!

Negative experience: The instructors are WONDERFUL!! The business is terrible. No flexibility at all, nearly impossible to schedule the drives. If you have a very busy student read everything carefully because they will have you make up all of the classes but if you miss more than 3 you have to pay to start over. Also they need to offer more weekend classes/programs.

Positive experience: Our daughter had a good experience in the classroom and behind the wheel driving. We do suggest that more behind the wheel instructors are needed given the procedure for scheduling. It was frustrating that behind the wheel sessions for a month were not available within a short time of them being posted as available.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience with this school.I was student for 6 hours packet, my teacher for driving was Freddie.He is very professional, very experienced and very good man.Even if i have international DL from my native country i didn't drive for so long.Freddie help me a lot with USA rules on the road and i obtain my DL for 15 days.

Negative experience: VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE FOLLOW UP OF THIS OFFICE! EDUCATORS WERE GREAT, BUT THE SUBMISSION OF REQUIRED PROOF OF DRIVES WAS NEVER, EVER SUBMITTED TO THE DMV IN ILLINOIS!-RESULTING IN HAVING TO WAIT TO OBTAIN DRIVER'S LICENSE.
