Fantastic experience: CS Driving School provided a truly wonderful experience for our family. We especially appreciated their user-friendly online platform, which made scheduling and communicating with their office a breeze. Lisa and Laura were outstanding; their support was instrumental in helping our daughter get her license. We can't recommend them enough, and we found the cost to be well worth the investment

Fantastic experience: I tried two other driving schools before CS Driving and found the instructors to be inattentive and uncommunicative. With CS Driving, I was assigned Bill Golden as my instructor and he is the absolute best. He was always very encouraging and attentive, and gave feedback that was on point. He worked with me to master the skills I wanted to work on at my own pace. He took the time to explain why a particular driving task seemed confusing or counterintuitive. I could see my driving ability improve after each lesson with him. I highly recommend CS Driving and Bill Golden!

Negative experience: In our experience, the driving instruction at CS Driving school was alternately reckless, abusive, and neglectful. One instructor took my teen daughter onto the highway on her second lesson when she was nowhere near ready, terrifying her while laughing at her fear. The school's owner Anna Sabatino spent one lesson yelling at my daughter, belittling her, and tearing her down. At the end of the 12-lesson package, when my daughter needed to work on parallel parking for the upcoming road test, a CS instructor had her just drive around without practicing parking, while he ignored her and watched sports on his cellphone. Shortly afterwards, my daughter failed her first road test due to parallel parking. The CS staff present at the CS-sponsored road test said that CS would call us to schedule a second road test, but no one ever called. We left CS and went to a different driving school (Middlesex Driving Academy in Winchester), where my daughter had two brush-up lessons with an excellent instructor who built up her confidence, practiced parking repeatedly, and helped her pass her second road test easily. I wish we had gone to Middlesex in the first place! On top of all of the problems with driving instruction, CS Driving has terrible scheduling issues which they rudely refuse to acknowledge or fix, claiming that all schools have the same issue. However, my younger child is now at Middlesex Driving Academy which has a much more logical and fair sign-up system that actually allows for one lesson per week without a problem. Avoid CS Driving Academy! There are sound reasons for the many bad reviews.

Negative experience: My son signed up for classes when he was 16. He got a driver’s education class as part of a bundle, which helped him get his permit. However, he was unable to sign up for any driving classes, despite us paying around $899 for the whole thing. We attempted to contact the school multiple times, but we were met with no response every time we reached out. I would not recommend this school to anyone who has a busy schedule or a fast-paced lifestyle.

Positive experience: My daughter passed her test in 1st attempt. However, it takes so long to schedule classes. It took us more than 9 months to con the test class package simply because they cannot schedule any instructors. You have to call them multiple times in order to get a class slot.

Negative experience: Super toxic and unprofessional. You will burn through money fast and listen to ‘life coach’s’ condescending and rude comments and in for a painful experience

Negative experience: One of their driving instructors illegally entered my private driveway as myself , my elderly father and my toddler daughter were in our front yard and driveway. She was short with short dark hair. Instead of apologizing for putting us all in danger , this woman decided to get a snarky attitude with me. She rolled her eyes at me and repeatedly asked me if I was “OK” not sure what she meant by that but definitely had the attitude of someone not being ok with being told no. No you can’t enter my private property and especially while people including a TODDLER are actively walking around. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone if this is what their driving school teachers act like while representing your company with a company logo on the car. BROOKLINE DRIVING SCHOOL all day for anyone reading this review ! They don’t have dangerous snarky drivers who put people at risk in their own driveway. Do you teach your students it’s ok to turn around in a private driveway with a child playing outside ?

Fantastic experience: We are very thankful to Anna and her amazing team. They are thorough in teaching the young drivers what is needed to be safe on the roads. My son enjoyed the classroom learning as much as he enjoyed chatting with his driving instructors. Lisa was very helpful in ensuring my son stayed on task with his driving hours. CS was very flexible with my son’s demanding schedule. Thank you CS!!!!

Negative experience: I would find another school that is straightforward and honest about driving instruction availability. At the very least, make the owner Anna Sabatino be more accountable to NOT sign the agreement as is.

Fantastic experience: My son did CS driving school and it went great. They were very helpful with getting his hours done and getting him scheduled for everything. The driving instructors are great and CS driving is very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend everyone to take CS.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely BEST driving school! Both of our sons took lessons from CS driving (4 years apart) and if we had more children, we'd be back! Owners and instructors are very professional, knowledgeable and very caring, taking a personal approach to ensure every student is successful! Thank you Anna Sab and team for a great experience! Negative experience: This school actually charges more and offers much slower driving lessons than other driving schools around the area.

Negative experience: This school started out fine but now that it is time for my daughter to take Driving lessons, it is impossible. They only release a limited number of lessons, every 2 weeks. If you are unavailable when they release them, forget about it. You have to wait another 2 weeks to try again. Lessons are booked out at this point, for the next month. My daughter has been able to sign up for 1 driving lesson and she has had her permit for about 3 months. They only have hours available when she is in school. My next kid will not use this school.

Negative experience: The driving appointments for the coming month all go within seconds. It'll take well over a year at this rate to get the needed hours. They clearly don't have enough instructors, but will sign up all the kids they can get regardless.

Negative experience: I personally had the unfortunate experience of attending CS driving school. While some of the instructors (Brian) are really great, the program as a whole takes many months to achieve and the cost is absurd. A handful of my lessons were even canceled because one of their cars broke down, and I just had to deal with it and hope another available lesson pops up. And god forbid you don’t make it to a lesson because if you are late there goes $90 down the drain! If you choose CS make sure to keep a very close eye on your payments for things like road test fees as if you do not pay them nobody will reach out to you notifying the issue. All in all CS does a reasonable job at preparing students to drive, however I found that the entire organization is dysfunctional and serves itself more than it’s customers.

Negative experience: This "school" COULD NOT BE RUN ANY WORSE IF THEY TRIED. It takes a minimum of 5 or 6 months to complete your lessons, some schools take just one. Two of the instructors gave me anxiety attacks within 15 minutes of being in the car with them, one of them being Anna Sabatino the owner. I have literally nothing good to say about CS. Even during the middle of covid, not one of my instructors wore a proper mask correctly. Do not use CS.

Negative experience: Ana was assigned to my daughter because she had anxiety about driving. even though Ana is a life coach, she made my daughter feel more anxious and put down. I would not request for her and just go with the regular instructors honestly.

Fantastic experience: I genuinely feel that the whole reason I was able to pass the road test and feel confident about my driving is because CS Driving School is so great. The owner, Ana, is a truly wonderful person and an amazing instructor. It's a lovely family-run business, and everyone there is super supportive and dedicated to making sure you succeed.

Negative experience: During a driving hour, the instructor asked if I had any learning difficulties. I told him I had mild Aspergers and he seemed to understand, but then Anna Sabatino (the director of the driving school) contacted my parents and said that she needed to conduct a driving lesson with me and them in the car to ensure that "I had my Aspergers under control." Needless to say I found the experience humiliating. If you have a kid with a learning disability don't send them here.

Fantastic experience: The best driving school in the Boston area. Safe, clean space with caring adults around. Courteous professional staff. Most of all, a driving school with a heart. Although we had to pay more because we didn’t originally get the package, they refunded us once we bought the parts of the package separately. 10/10 ⭐️S

Positive experience: Not bad, but could be better. I paid a lot for the 6-lesson block and was made to drive around in circles for 5 of them, which I didn't find productive. Overall, pretty nice instructors, but not always helpful.

Fantastic experience: I chose CS driving school because of good reviews I read. I must say they are really good at what they do my instructor Bill was amazing, I passed the road test my first time after just 2 hours of behind the wheel. I recommend Cs driving school to anyone that want to learn and also pass their road test.

Fantastic experience: Common Sense Driving is a whole different and excellent business than the others. Our son used Brookline Driving because they picked up at school. We heard multiple horror stories of abusive, careless, lazy, dangerous, and downright dishonest instructors from him. Friend told us similar stories from Newton Driving. We chose CS Driving School for our daughter. When we found CS Driving it seemed less convenient ... until we understood their system. Part of their common sense is that they arrange so that the first driver's lesson involves driving to the second driver's house for pickup. Then the first driver switches and gets those annoying observation hours as they get driven home. So, super convenient, actually! Unlike the other schools, they have a well designed online scheduling system. They send reminders and can update your calendar. Wow, just like it's 2018! This is a family owned and run business. They hire instructors with great energy. The owner, Anna Sabatino, is brilliant and funny, which is nice when you take the parent class. Our daughter's instructions have been fun! They really care about teaching safety, skills, and about their reputation as a business. No comparison. CS Driving School is exceptional.

Fantastic experience: Mrs. Anna Sabatino is an amazing women full of the spirit and love from the Creator from above NOTHING LESS.. I'm good TAKEN care of the 0-13.. You the bomb and THANK YOU for your spiritual investment into your life so you can help so many and investing into MYSELF so I can spread and feed other hungry and lost souls with new goals and POSITIVE outlook and ACTIONS... Fantastic experience: Just got my license with this driving school yesterday April 11th.My driving lesson was awesome this is the best driving school ive ever been to.the owner and the instructors always make sure the confidence in you is at a high level.Arsenio was my instructor he was awesome he always made sure you had the techniques at a high level .Laura makes sure that you will show up for the road test and takes pride in her work everyone at that school does.they always make sure your prepared.my advice to anyone who wants to look for a driving school stop looking go to CS driving school you wont regret it!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with CS Driving School. I had minimal prior driving experience and I was able to pass the test in the first attempt after taking 12 behind-the-wheel lessons (plus lots of practice in the evenings and weekends). Anna is an excellent instructor; she is professional, punctual, amicable and pushed me to achieve my goal of getting my drivers license in the first attempt. Also a special thanks to Laura for scheduling classes with Anna based on my progress. I highly recommend CS Driving School.

Fantastic experience: CS is amazing, they are always on the ball. From the very first time I contacted them they have been pleasant and well organized. They have more cars than other driving schools and both my sons were fully satisified, they heard about other programs but all their friends recommended this odriving school. I can tell you they save me a lot of time and made the process virtually painless. Their prices are very reasonable and so easy to pay and sign up. Very patient people and very responsive. Absolutely the Best!

Fantastic experience: I never write reviews but felt the need to write this one. My family has used 3 different driving schools and CS is by far the best one. They are very organized and you can always get a hold of someone on the phone. When you call they are extremely helpful. My son has liked the instructors both classroom and behind the wheel. The website is easy to use and very informative. By far the best around!

Fantastic experience: CS Driving school is great. The classroom teachers are interesting and fun (according to my son). The driving teachers are always punctual, deliver the same consistent message on how to drive, and they are good teachers. Scheduling is a breeze with their online student portal and phone calls are always answered. The owners listen to the needs of their students. My son just took his road test last week and passed with flying colors. We will be back with the next two kids!
