Fantastic experience: My experience with Jordan was Great! Had my training on Sunday and by Thursday the following week, I was licensed class type “A”. Jordan was very knowledgeable and professional in what you would need to be successful to obtain your commercial license. The 1 on 1 training made it very easy for me to prepare for the actual test. Everything we practice was done at the DPS just as how it was practiced. I was happy I was able to find this school even though I live 70 miles out! Every mile was worth it. If your budget is tight but you still want your license and want good training, CDL LAST STEP is for you.

Fantastic experience: Win-Win-Win I got my class A by going through Last Step CDL for less than a third of what any other school charges, didn't have to dedicate a bunch of wasted time 'hurrying up to wait' as I would describe it, and I'm not stuck with an education loan to force me into working for an unethical employer. Like i said: Win-Win-Win. Context to help the readers: First, I started attending a company sponsored driving school after acquiring my permit in order to avoid paying 5-6k for truck driving school. In the following 2 weeks I spent 6.5+ hours a day learning independently, an hour for lunch, no more than an hour total in a truck to practice maneuvers, and an hour total of actual instruction. For a 4 week school, I skipped the first week by getting my permit, attended for 2 weeks, and had a week left. The cost of being stuck working for a company that is using an education loan (cannot be dismissed even in bankrupry) to completely take advantage of the new driver is not worth it. Gathering some basic numbers of people that go through that particular school, % that graduate, % that stay with the company, the way they have a separate entity that effectively offers the ''education loan,' the fact that the driving school is almost entirely dedicated to the specific trucking company... it's a scheme to profit on the education loans more than anything. And what education were they actually providing? In reality much of what they espoused was inconsistent or outdated or unnecessary. I left. I thought there had to be a better way than company sponsored or 5-6k for a school that really should only take a day of dedicated time with an instructor for a self-motivated individual. The rest could easily be done in a 2-3 days if focused. (The law requires a tiny fraction of instruction time to test.) I had already searched countless times, but had never seen Jordan's company appear in the search results, but it did eventually. I called. I had my questions answered directly. I was able to even get a custom plan considering how far along I was. Jordan scheduled the time based on when he scheduled my driving test with the DMV so it would immediately follow the training/driving practice. Practical, not a profit center...

Instructor is really patient, professional, and well organized. Followed their instructions word for word and passed FIRST time. My 8hr one-on-one instruction helped strengthen my weakness in pre-trip which by the end I knew exactly what needed attention. Literally the last step to your CDL is at LAST STEP CDL.

I was a military and civilian commercial airline pilot for 36 years(now retired) and have attended many schools and training programs in those years. A year ago I didn’t even have my regular license so I wanted to come here and thank Jordan with Last Step CDL for making something I thought was impossible possible. Jordan made every step very easy and clear to understand. I’m almost 42 and the pre trip inspection is a lot information to memorize. I failed that part of the test twice then Jordan took time out of his day to bring me back to the training facility to go over every step of the pre trip again. Making sure I knew the correct wording to use and making sure i was comfortable with that part of the test before I took it again. He did everything he could except take the test for me. Fantastic experience: I successfully passed my CDL this week and I am already driving. Jordan runs a very professional outfit and does everything he says he will do. His website is the most transparent out of any of the rapid CDL training outfits. If you do what he says, you’ll pass. If you don’t, you won’t. You receive the following for your money: rapid booking for his class, an instant booking for DPS within a week of training completion, 8 to 11 hours of hands on training with very little downtime and lots of reps, access to the required ELDT theory course, a comprehensive study packet that includes pre-trip inspection requirements down to the most minute detail, full and quick support for your questions before your test, a clean and serviceable truck ready to go at your appointment time. All you have to do is pay attention and study your tail off after the training day. Magic is hard to accomplish in one day so don’t expect miracles and don’t be lazy post class. If you cannot back a trailer of any kind, don’t sign up for 8 hours. Expect professionalism, a dedicated instructor, a top notch study guide, and a good truck to test in because that is what you will get.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a helpful and patient teacher for your CDL, this is where you need to go. He had so much much patience with my husband and was even able to get his wife to translate for him as well. He made sure nothing got in the way of my husband passing that test. He motivated my husband and helped him feel confident. There was an issue when we went to the DMV and he was even getting ready to speak to a manager there to make make sure my husband was able to complete his testing. He truly went above and beyond to help my husband get his CDL License. I can not thank them enough!
