Fantastic experience: I absolutely 100% recommend Alma Driving School. I picked them because they specialize in "nervous students," and this was exactly me my first time behind the wheel. But with Alma, I went from zero driving experience to getting my license in just three months! Elias, my instructor, was so patient, friendly, and encouraging at every class. He guided me step by step through everything I needed to learn, and diligently had me practice it over and over until I got it right. His reassuring attitude gave me the confidence I needed to know I could do it. He is a dedicated professional. Raymond led the 5-hour pre-licensing class and was very informative and detailed in his presentation. He also drove our group to the road test site and prepped each one of us on the individual route he knew we would take, which was super helpful. And his wife is such a pleasure and delight to chat with! Again, I wholeheartedly recommend this driving school to anyone, no matter your age or experience. I never thought I could get my license in my early 40s, and here I am! Thank you, Alma!

Fantastic experience: Just passed my road test. Raymond is the best instructor. His calm and patient will boost your confident and thus do much better compared to an instructor who yells at you like he cannot control himself.

Negative experience: Please avoid, this place. I was taking driving classes with a man name Adam and everything seemed to be ok except that he never showed me how to park. I let the receptionist Marissa know and she couldn't care less. She had an unpleasant attitude. This place is no good. I would recommend Revolution. Please avoid

Fantastic experience: Took the five hour class, a refresher class and the driving test with them. Would have had no idea how to take this test and where to show up without this school. They made it easy and affordable.

Negative experience: I enroll to take classes with alma in June. Got the 5 class package. My classes where spread out so far apart that by the time my road test date came around I didnt think I was ready, mind u they cancelled my last lesson that would of been my lesson before me road test. Anyway I enrolled in 4 more classes after that and had to reschedule my own road test because when I would call the school they would tell me they didn't have any test for red hook after about 3 calls to the schedule I decided to book my own road test and guess what I booked it in redhook. Once again they tried to cancell my last lesson before my road test due to the instructor going on vacation. I was not having it so the owner raymond gave my my lesson. I had 2 different instructors one told me do it this way the other no do it that way..So after a total of 9 lessons with these 2 different instructors I still didnt pass my road test. I'm going with another school where I will have the same instructor.. I was told having more than one instructor confuses the student... I would not go there again they took enough of my money..

Negative experience: The worst service ever, they made me pay for the lesson and never showed up.would not suggest to anybody stay away from them

Fantastic experience: My instructor, called Raymond, was really patient when giving tips. Also, he was really efficient when giving a mechanical method to do parallel parking. I passed the test without much effort. Finally, the prices are really nice and competitive.

Fantastic experience: 5 hour class was good and Driving lessons where the best my instructor was very patient and informed me very well, I think he knew I felt nervous behind the wheel but he was very nice and motivated me to just feel confident had many driving lessons and thanks to him I passed my driving test and got my drivers license!

Negative experience: Instructor Sabrina will cancel your classes the day of, sometimes only hours ahead. She cancelled my road test the morning of and the school didn't schedule anyone to substitute her. She's a good teacher, but overall my experiences with her has been poor.

Fantastic experience: Very polite and reliable. Purchased a package of 5 lessons that included scheduling and taking a road test for my son. He'd driven sporadically since his 16th birthday five years ago. After the five lessons, he passed the test on the first attempt. Thank you, Alma.
