Fantastic experience: So ima a student and just to let you know Jose is the goat. Give that man a raise he’s only reason I still pay for classes despite the fact I got my license like yesterday

Negative experience: Good school and staff, bad with communication and answering the phone.

Negative experience: I got stuck behind a car from this driving school going 5 under the limit on Eubank during peak rush hour traffic. Everybody was forced to pass on the right and cutting the poor student off. The instructor is extremely stupid for having their student drive that way and also inconsiderate to commuters and anyone else on the road. If this is how driving schools in Albuquerque teach, it is no wonder that everyone in town drives like a moron.

Negative experience: Jose has SEVERE anger issues, he is always so rude to my daughter for no reason and even rolls his eyes at us whenever I come to schedule a drive time since they don’t answer the phone they tell you to call. Yes I understand you’re on a time crunch, but there is no need to be so rude to your customers who are keeping you in business. Thank you, next.

Negative experience: I've been waiting for months to have my final driving lessons established apparently this business doesn't want the help of others to help drive but considering taking your money first this is my final lesson of driving and the company specially the wo the owners has not established any time yet and the owners still it is Oct 4.the owners said she will get back which was in June 19 2024

Fantastic experience: This company is now teaching my 3rd driver. My oldest went here and is an amazing aware driver. She appreciated the interactions with the instructors and received quality and meaningful feedback from them. My second took Driver’s Ed in school-the instructors did not demonstrate real knowledge of the road and my second struggles to drive well. My third-has thus far been given supreme instruction in driver’s education-if he fails it is not on the shoulders of these instructors; he has been given sufficient opportunities to get the instruction down! Additionally, they are helpful and have totally worked with our schedule since we are from out of town. I am totally impressed with this cohort of educators-they take their job seriously and the no nonsense approach to driving is a breath of fresh air! They have kept us informed via email-if we have any concerns-though busy-they take that minute to make sure these are alleviated. I cannot say enough about how amazing this school is-if you can bring your children here they will ensure our children are well-equipped to take on any challenge related to training them to be safe in a situation that may otherwise harm them or others indefinitely! I will certainly be visiting them with my 4th! Love this place!!!

Negative experience: I had to drive my sister over 30 minutes to have her take her driving lesson here and they tell her to come back in an other hour because there was people in there taking a test. The owner has a severe anger problem and seems to be mentally unstable. This man should not be dealing with children learning how to drive. My sister also tells me he has done this in the past and puts the blame on her for coming at the supposedly wrong time for her driving lessons. Do not waste your money here people, this guy is a lunatic and I don’t know how this place is still in operation.

Negative experience: Owners have anger issues and do not know how to work with kids. Every former student I’ve talked to has shared awful experiences. They will probably reply to this review with some made up excuse to try and defend themselves.

Negative experience: My youngest son attended this driving school and we were very disappointed. The staff did not communicate well at all. It was a scheduling battle from the beginning. They didn't answer the phone, return calls, or respond to texts in a timely manner. I had to call 3-4 times each time I needed to schedule a driving lesson. The instructor was short and rude with me and my son. DO NOT send your kids here! *Their response to this review is not true, my son did not take the MVD road test. Notice there is no response about their failure to communicate* This is a very poorly run business.

Negative experience: Literally spreading misinformation like saying the left lane isn't for passing which I've seen cause serious road rage in people trying to pass so they're putting these kids at risk. Do better.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome, all my kids went here. They are graduated now and all drive excellent. God bless you and your instructors. Peace!

Positive experience: -Update- Duke city is still a good driving school. But we've been trying to schedule more driving time for almost 2 months. We had to cancel twice because I was sick and we missed 1 too ( we paid for it and paying was completely understandable because we wasted there time ). They did call us back at 9pm but i was busy and couldn't answer it. There just needs to be an easier way to schedule driving time. James Bellinger- I was going to go to a different driving school, but i decided to go here. Going here was one of my best decisions ive made in a long time, everyone's friendly and nice, the teachers really do teach you, and its super easy to schedule drive time, 100% would recommend. :)

Positive experience: They have been wonderful at teaching our girls to be Road ready. I feel my girls are in safe hands and hearing great tips as they drive. The vehicles have brakes on the passenger side for safety. 4 stars because response time to messages and email needs to be better. I find it easier to go in and talk in person. Overall, I am so glad I took my new drivers to Duke City Driver Education. Thanks, guys!

Negative experience: Awful, aggressive people who should not be dealing with kids. They have no clue how to teach or drive

Negative experience: I just called this facility to ask questions about how to get a driving test result since my daughter went here for driving hours and I was just told that they want to go one on one with me and got real aggressive me. This is real unprofessional and unethical! Do not bring your kids here. This is not the kind of people you want to work with. This is horrible and they want lawsuits to take place!

Fantastic experience: The owners are very nice as well as the staff. My son had no complaints I will be going back with the next kid.

Positive experience: Owners are nice and assertive, I recommend them for driving and schooling, the location is the biggest downside for me, in a slightly bit growing sketchy part of abq, other than that their nice and assertive people who get the job done!

Negative experience: I wish I could give no stars. They take in way too many students and are impossible to deal with if you need to reschedule a drive time. Even refused to let my daughter switch drive times with her friend the same week. They are extremely rude on the phone, yelled at my wife when she called. We ended up having to transfer my daughter along with her friends to another driving school or they would have never finished. Some of the worst customer service I have ever seen.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Duke City. My kids enjoyed learning to drive with Lisa and Jose! They are instructors who know how to capture their students attention through.the showing of videos as well as classroom activities. Lisa and Jose really care about what they teach and I saw how important it was to them that the students learned the material well. Learning to drive is not only a privilege but a serious life skill that requires serious learning and attention. I felt that my kids received quality driving instruction here that will carry them throughout their lives. I would highly recommend Duke City Driving.

Negative experience: Beware of Duke City Drivers Ed, they will do sweet talk to get your business but will not giving continuous driving lessons to your children. I contacted them repeatedly to schedule drive times & they would text back saying they would call to reschedule at a certain time though no one ever did. My family member AJ contacted Lisa again and again but her response is I am overbooked and do not have availability for all driving sessions. This is a fraud as they even refused to return the money or give sessions. Owner LIsa is extremely rude & cannot be trusted.

Fantastic experience: Great people . Great teaching . Great place to be. Jose and Lisa will not only teach you driving skills, but life skills as well!

Fantastic experience: Just today I took my final step, my drivers test, to get my provisional, and I got to say not a single complaint. They treated me, my cousin, and a friend, better then a costumer, made sure to have plenty of water and food available, just in case we were hungry or thirsty after school, gave all of us some free subway cookie coupons every day during break and so forth. They even gave me advice about my first car! There were no problems with communication or drive times, and made sure we had courtesy reminders a couple of days in advance of drive time. Thanks to Duke City, I'll be driving by myself safe and securely!

Negative experience: This is the second time I have passed one of their students going under the speed limit in the left lane. This school is teaching its students unsafe practices before they are even licensed. Having to pass on the right is not safe and they are clearly not correcting this behavior.

Negative experience: This company is fraud. Don't trust the owner Lisa, she promises big and will not give time or classes to your kids to drive e.g. my daughter has done only 2 classes in last 3 months that too in night. I contacted them repeatedly to schedule drive times & they would text back saying they would call to reschedule at a certain time though no one ever did. Don't believe them as they flip and speak lie. I opened the chargeback.

Fantastic experience: Amazing school! This is not a boring school at all, I thought it would be so boring but this school was actually pretty fun! I am saying to that if you are deciding where you take drivers ed you should take it here!
