Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful experience taking adult driving lessons with Mr. Serrano. Mr. Serrano was very patient, encouraging, and insightful when giving constructive criticism. Parallel parking lessons were great and aligned well with the setup used in the state’s actual test. Very sound diversification in routes all the way from low-volume traffic to high-volume traffic to freeway traffic based on all the lessons available. Would strongly recommend this location for any adults who are hoping to pass the test quickly and confidently.

Negative experience: Receptionist is rude. Does not know how to talk to people more so children.

Negative experience: Rude staff. In earlier reviews, someone mentioned that they negotiate and work on their mistakes, but I highly doubt that. After leaving this place and visiting another school, I was able to complete what I needed — I received excellent guidance on further education and left with a positive impression. But not here. Avoid them.

Negative experience: I had a GREAT experience with the Texas Driving School at the Weber location, so I decided to try the Saratoga location this time since it’s closer. Unfortunately, my experience at Saratoga was very disappointing. First, the staff incorrectly told me my daughter couldn’t get a driver’s license. I had to show them the DPS website to prove she was eligible. I would expect a driving school to be knowledgeable about these things. Additionally, they got my daughter’s last name wrong, which caused unnecessary issues. They wouldn’t let her in until I showed them the contract to prove their mistake. While they eventually allowed her to attend, they didn’t correct the error, and her last name was still wrong on the DPS slip. Another issue was regarding a planned surgery. I had called ahead to confirm how absences would work. I was told that since each class was two hours, she could attend the first half and retake only the second half later. However, on the day of the surgery, they marked her absent for the entire session, even though she attended the first two hours as planned. Overall, this location has been very difficult to work with. The staff is impolite, and the lack of organization is frustrating. No one expects perfection, but clear communication and kindness would go a long way. If you’re deciding between locations, I highly recommend the Weber location. My experience there was smooth and professional.

Negative experience: I do not recommend this location for teenage females. My 15 year old daughter was insulted by the clothes she was wearing when she wore the exact outfit to school today by the manager Krista. She would not give me her last name to make a complaint, wouldn’t give me a contact person to make a complaint, lied and said she never said my child looked ridiculous when I clearly heard her, hung up on me, and didn’t answer when I called back. That was very unprofessional and very immature.

Negative experience: (Yorktown) Lady is very rude and unprofessional! I wouldn’t recommend taking your child(ren) to this location. Instructor on cell phone not paying attention while kids are driving.

Fantastic experience: We had the absolute BEST experience here! My son was able to complete the written/classroom part via Zoom due to Covid and they made it really convenient. He loved his driving instructor and learned so much! He is very aware of driving and even corrects his parents on what to do and what not to do. The driving times were super easy to schedule. Phone calls were always promptly returned and the customer service was top notch! I highly recommend the Texas Driving School for all teens learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: I went to take my driving classes for adults here, one of the best decisions of my life, in very little time I went from no experience to have a very good grasp on what I needed to do. My instructor Mario is very professional and friendly, I had fun when I was learning, and he was calm and calming when I was anxious. He knows how to teach and gives much valuable insight on the road, I got training with different road circumstances to help me drive safely. he is very trustworthy and I will recommend him to anybody that wants to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: I took driving classes for adult and passed my driving test here. My instructor Mario is very experienced, professional and friendly. He knows how to teach and gives many valuable advice about driving throughout the course every time. He trained me with different cars and road circumastances to help me drive safely. Lauren at the office is very helpful and comfortable to get along with.

Fantastic experience: Not sure what these other people are talking about. I'm so glad i went with Texas Driving School. They made the entire process so much easier than doing it on my own. Definitely recommend it for everyone. Have already recommended it to several family members.

Negative experience: The office person at the Yorktown and cimarron was horrible. Always had our driving dates and times messed up. This ended up costing me well over a hundred dollars more then I had already paid. The driving instructors did a decent job but I now have to teach my kid how to parallel park again as their method does work well all the time.

Negative experience: They have very poor communication and weird hours

Negative experience: My daughter keeps getting scheduled for certain dates and being told different dates from what they write down. Then they schedule her for a makeup class and we go in and they tell her she has to go the following week. They want to charge me no show fees for their screw ups “I don’t know who’s handwriting this is” but it’s ok for them to give us wrong dates for classes and refuse to accept responsibility. I’ve asked to speak with someone in charge and the secretary refuses until I give her the dates I was called by the office and hung up on me. Very unprofessional and not “friendly” as their website claims.
