Fantastic experience: I hired this company a while back to teach my daughter how to drive when she was 16, and I’ve been meaning to leave this review ever since. She’s almost 18 now and has her license, but I still remember how professional and kind the instructor was. He really took the time to make sure she learned everything she needed to know to feel confident behind the wheel and to pass her driving exam, which she did! The lessons were affordable, everything was super professional, and the way he worked with her made me feel at ease as a parent. I’m so glad I went with them. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone patient, trustworthy, and knowledgeable!

Fantastic experience: What an awesome experience! As with many parents, teaching yours kids to drive can be a daunting task, in more ways than one (I would have to write an entire page, but If You Know You Know!) I was referred by a friend, and was very apprehensive to have my kids driving with a stranger without me. I finally called and spoke to JC and wow, I changed my tune quick. He's so professional and down to earth, and a really nice man. He put my mind at ease quickly after explaining how he operates, from how he deals with kiddos coming from our situation to of course his methods of teaching them. I can't stress enough how I was finally able to exhale after just our initial phone conversation. The kids were so comfortable with JC (and Beth was great too) and his style of teaching, it was my perfect solution. JC really worked well with us with work schedules (since I had two enrolled who both work) there was no stress. My kids had very little driving experience, and they are doing fabulous now. There is no longer that angst and dread between us now when I am in the passenger seat, and I am grateful to Green Light Driving School for being that buffer I needed to get them (actually us) to this point. Worth every penny! My only regret is not calling sooner. Thanks a million!!

Fantastic experience: I truly wish there was an option to double these stars from 5 to 10, as J.C. and Green Light Driving School went out of their way to support our twin daughters in preparation for not only passing their PA Driver's Test, but more importantly, preparing them to be safe and cautious drivers for life. J.C. and his staff are kind, competent, and capable in their approach, truly helping build our daughters' confidence from their first lesson all the way through the morning of their test day. Going above and beyond is a sediment that does not even come close to the support we received. From answering questions prior to even signing up with the service, to helping to collaborate our girls' busy schedules for lessons, to even checking in on our family a month after passing their tests just to see how they were doing on the road - J.C. and Green Light Driving School were there the the whole way through and then some. Their competitive rates and defensive approach to driving instruction helped ease our nerves with this process - for this and more we're forever grateful to J.C. and the staff at Green Light Driving School - Thank You :)

Fantastic experience: My daughter suffers from depression and anxiety. She wasn’t wanting to even drive, but she’s turning 18 and I am trying to help her become more independent. I tried teaching her to drive with only minor success. I researched and found GREEN LIGHT DRIVING SCHOOL. I easily signed up with a lot of guidance from JC. I was nervous about spending the money to have my goal of getting my daughter to drive be a waste. When we showed up for the first lesson, it was a struggle just getting her out of the car. But all it took was JC’s skills to read her fear and make her want to step out of the car. The confidence he gave her made her had her want to come back to the second lesson. Now…she loves to drive and has confidence not only in driving but in herself. JC is truly remarkable and someone my daughter looks up to, doesn’t want to disappoint, and drive. Not only to drive, but have confidence that she can tackle what she thought was impossible. JC did it in a calm, directive way I could not have achieved being the parent. Thank you JC!!!

Fantastic experience: We were extremely pleased with Greenlight Driving School, we recently moved from New York to Danville,PA and we could not find a driving school for our 16 year old daughter. When we found Greenlight we were skeptical because we were not sure if it was worth the distance to travel from Danville to Williamsport. I can definitely say it was worth it, JC WAS GREAT !! and my daughter passed her driving test with NO problems. I normally don't post reviews but I felt the need to let others know how good our sacrifice paid off .

Fantastic experience: Coach JC Keefer is an absolutely wonderful instructor. My son was terrified to drive, and thought he would never be able to get his license. He didn't want to learn with his parents, but agreed to try Green Light Driving School. By the end of his first package, he had mastered the majority of driving skills needed to pass his test, and had become comfortable behind the wheel. A few lessons later, he was able to not only pass the driver's license exam, but received a PERFECT score! He now offers to drive us everywhere, and the confidence he gained in being able to drive has carried over into other areas of his life. I highly recommend Green Light Driving School for anyone who wants to learn how to drive or even sharpen their driving skills. Whether you are a teenager or adult, have a disability or are developmentally typical, Coach JC Keefer will do a fantastic job for you!

Fantastic experience: This is the best driving school anyone can go to! I truly mean that. The instructor is very thorough in helping you achieve driving success. I promise you’ll get your license on the first try. Don’t think about whether you should let Green light help you with driving just sign up! You won’t be disappointed at all.

Fantastic experience: Coach Keefer is a great guy. Our son was reluctant to practice driving for us, in fact he refused to drive for us more than once. We heard of Green Light Driving School from a co-worker whose daughter had similar issues. It was like a light switch was turned on. He opened up for Coach Keefer and did great. The first lesson they were driving on I-180 at highway speeds as well as on the test course that the PA DOT examiners use during their test. He also mastered parallel parking right away. His confidence level went way up. The lessons are well worth the cost!

Fantastic experience: I’ll start with I wasn’t able to get a license for medical reasons until in my thirties. After 2 years or renewing permits I realized my husband, family, and friends were never going to help me practice driving so full of anxiety I texted my questions and signed up. I am a VERY nervous driver. I am ok if there is nobody else around, which is impractical and not reality so I was looking for professional help. It was helpful for me to know JC knows people I know and trust and he was more patient than I would have been to myself with how anxious everything made me. I had full blown and mini panic attacks and he helped me through them. He listened to my learned needs (ADHD, dyslexia, and a million other things) and I was able to retain the necessary information and stay in control. I became a much better driver than when I started and did the package of 12 lessons. In those 12 lessons he, and Rita, were able to get me from terrified of every little thing to keeping speed, not being terrible at breaking, staying in my lane, parking well, not over steering, etc. I felt hopeless and such a burden but they changed that. Even parallel parking was down the list of fretting. Close to nonexistent. I know have freedom I never thought I would have- they are worth every penny and more! If you are struggling in anyway, they can get you sorted out, plus you test in their car so you are fully prepared.

Fantastic experience: I put 2 teens (16/17) through his course and cannot express how absolutely excited that they passed the driving test!! He was more than professional and tuned his teachings towards each individuals needs, gave me feedback after each class and was very flexible on dates and times. We drove about 45 minutes to meet him for the courses and was absolutely worth it as we had nothing remotely close. His vehicle was super clean and easily adjustable for the 2 kids. They also really liked him as well. You will not be disappointed with this driving course at all.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing experience full of trust and comfort. Direction are same as test so your never confused or surprised, put on a routine so you know what to expect, and just overall great preparation to pass your test!

Fantastic experience: After a year of working with our niece, she was still to nervous to take her test, so we signed her up for lessons at Green Light. J.C. worked with her and within one month she had her license! He is really good at working with nervous students and building their confidence and skills. We are super pleased with our experience and would recommend him to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I got to say if your looking for a highly recommended top noch professional driving teacher MR. KEEFER is your and should be your first choice. I tell you no lie. He is extremely excellent in helping you to learn how to drive and passing your test and is highly known for helping people get their license the first try. I can contest to it cause today 10/12/21 I got my license with his help on my first try. I'm super excited he gave me the boost and confidence i lacked in the beginning and helped me come off on top. Fantastic experience: Bad habits fixed! Due to operating farm equipment, riding lawn mowers, dirt bikes and ATV’s my child was over confident with driving and had formed some minor bad habits that caused him to fail his drivers test. He enrolled in one of Green Light’s shorter commitment driving courses. After a few sessions, the bad habits were quickly fixed. When my son took his drivers test again he passed with an excellent rating! BIG THANK YOU to JC!

Fantastic experience: This was a great experience! I was a bit nervous at first as I’m 25 and a little older than most beginners, but J.C. helped me feel at ease and realize it is never too late to learn an important skill such as driving. I signed up with little knowledge behind the wheel, and after a few classes, passed my road test on the first try! He was thorough with each lesson and taught me how to be a safe driver. Fantastic experience: Started off with no driving experience and he instantly believed in me. He gave me clear instructions and tips that helped me progress through the lessons. He reminded me to stay alert and use defensive techniques on the road. I passed my road test the first try. I can proudly say without him I wouldn’t be a confident driver. At 28, I'd learnt to drive so many times, on and off, but life kept getting in the way, the timing was never "right", and after my failed road test 10 years prior, I'd never rebuilt my confidence in driving. For my 29th birthday, my brother bought a 6-lesson package for me with JC, and though I was skeptical, he had me schedule the road test prior, and in the span of a week's time had me ready to go. I passed today. After 11 years, I have my license, and much is open to me now. If you're skeptical or on the fence, this man knows what he's doing, and even in the first lesson gets to know you and what you need. He'll even make sure to work with your schedule as best he can. Fantastic experience: As an adult seeking driving lessons, I was really intimidated. It’s somewhat embarrassing to be an adult who doesn’t know how to drive, but J.C never made me feel any differently about that. His lessons were extremely thorough, and he’s very observant about the things you do wrong to help you understand how to fix them. He’s a teacher/coach, and I feel this background helps him understand how folks learn a little better. He explained things in a way that made much more sense than when my partner explained them. He knows the routes the testers will take you down, and when they surprise changed the course the morning of my test we were able to quickly practice that beforehand. He’s also super accommodating, as I had to reschedule a few times due to weather and he always was able to squeeze me in for another time. I was unsure about paying for this service because I didn’t know if it would help. I can confidently say I wouldn’t have been able to pass my test nearly as easily or as quickly without his instruction. I’ve become a much better and more confident driver. I can’t thank J.C enough!

Fantastic experience: Where to start ? First off my instructor J.C Keefer is the best ! From the time I contacted him he was there for me 100 % the open line of communication scheduling the practices and the road test was amazing. His extensive Knowledge of the dmv rules and regulations was beyond ordinary. I passed my drivers test on my first try thanks to him, he made learning how to parallel park a breeze. He not only took his time and insured I knew everything I needed to before my lesson was over, but he also picked me up and dropped me back off home which was great. I was able to use his vehicle for my road test which is the perfect size for parking. The prices were fair and reasonable Overall just a Great teacher he helped me to remain calm and confident when on the road.

Fantastic experience: This right here is a great experience for any inexperience drivers out there trust me I was one and for 2 months my driver teacher the man who’s own the place really gave me super confidence and push me every time we got on the road, and after 2 months I was able to get my License on my first go.

Fantastic experience: John was very accommodating to my busy schedule and ensured I got my lessons in and license before going back to college for the semester. His confidence in your skills made you more confident in yourself .... and I was able to pass on the first try because he ensured you knew every possibility for the test and took you around the loop several times to get experience. He was very patient and worked very hard with me all the way up till the day I took my drivers test which was yesterday.
