LTD Driving School

Negative experience: I genuinely believe that all the 5-star reviews are the owners writing under the guise of themselves because there is no way!! Hands down the worst experience I’ve had with any business. Nearly impossible to contact, unstable office hours, and I wasted multiple trips just trying to get in. The co-owner (the instructor's wife) is incredibly rude and has zero patience or professionalism, even toward the teens in her classes. The driving instructor, David, was 35 minutes late to my lesson and brushed it off. He blasted TikTok videos during the session, gave confusing directions, and didn’t teach me anything useful. At one point, he yelled at me for not turning while someone was crossing the street. Reckless and disrespectful. My last lesson? I drove him to Sam’s Club to buy chicken, then delivered it to a relative’s house, on my dime. Unacceptable.Overpriced, unprofessional, and a total waste of time. Save yourself or your child the stress, go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Excellent driving school! All of my three children attended! My oldest is 32, 23 and youngest 19 years of age; go figure!!

Negative experience: ***Beware of this Driver Education School*** My daughter started taking the course back in the summer June/July 2024, we paid in full in cash for class. Daughter fully completed class hours but every time we try to make arrangements for actual driving hours, they never answer, we always leave messages, and no return calls or text messages. Waste of money, have reported to BBB, will report to State Licensing, and police for fraud and robbery. We are not the only people that did not receive the full service and course which was fully paid for.

Negative experience: Spent a lot of money and time enrolling my son in this course and then they ghosted us before completing the in car training. At this point it’s been almost a year since we completed the in class instruction and David assured us we could text him and get the in car training arranged. Since then nobody at LTD driving school has responded to ANY form of communication. The best you’ll get out of them is an automatic reply out of a full voicemail. 2024 and still no word from these guys. Light your money on fire, you’ll have a better outcome.

Fantastic experience: Great place to send your kids for driver's ed It is the oldest and largest Driving School in the area. And you student gets all the state requirements. Don't go anywhere else !

Fantastic experience: Great school. I highly recommend this school. Very professional. My son really loved it and so did I as an adult. I didnt even know it was an option for what I needed. Mr Fresquez provided us with all the knowledge and tools we needed. The environment was comfortable. My son liked the way he taught. It's what's giving him the confidence to drive....Safely. Negative experience: David got to be the most disrespectful instructor we ever encountered. We had to contact their insurance to get our money back. They finally get his act together but it won’t surprise me if they will disrespect his other clients.

Fantastic experience: Let me just get things straight for the people who are giving 1 star ratings and saying david is not professional/not a good teacher/disrespectful.. i went in and took my driving test and the man just says the truth his honest and in my opinion his very professional on what he does. if you messed up don’t take it personal on what he says his just trying to help you and is being honest..remember YOU LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES!!

Negative experience: I do not recommend this place they don’t care about teaching the kids anything or helping them they just care about the money, they are so rude to the kids have no respect and when I was there this one teacher was so childish talking about someone’s parent. I do not recommend

Negative experience: I don’t recommend this place at all the teachers here only care about money and not teaching and it shows. These people especially David are rude and have no patience. My money here has been thrown away for people that are not good at teaching.

Negative experience: I will never recommend LTD to anyone! When I was in High School, LTD was the only place to go. As an adult who now has a teenage driver, I chose LTD as they have been around the longest. I wish I would have known better. David is extremely rude, unprofessional, and does not know how to run a business. Thankfully, there are a couple of instructors here that made our experience a little less miserable. Who I will recommend however, is New Start Driving School. They are friendly, helpful, AND they answer their phone! Extremely disappointed with our overall experience with LTD.

Negative experience: So just learned today that absolutely nothing that’s on the written test is taught in this school. Everything on test is on the MVD drivers manual. Don’t waste your money cuz really for the $350 spent for two weeks of enduring very hot classroom 3 hours five days a week no proper ventilation to learn nothing that is on this test. Not worth the time or money. Just download manual and study that as we were told by MVD cuz nothing you learn in driving school or online will be on test. Everything is on drivers manual.

Fantastic experience: Michelle was an awesome instructor. She calmed me down. She was very helpful didn't get mad at me or anything.

Negative experience: There's a guy there named David. Kinda intolerant and rude. Teachers need to be patient. Honestly, they're lacking professionalism. It doesn't matter what it is... Maybe I don't know where something is, or something silly like that. I'm sorry einstein but I dont know everything right off the bat! You wouldn't like it if rolled my eyes at you! So childish.

Negative experience: If I could give less than one star, I would. You pay a premium for this school and then getting the required driving hours and signing up for those driving hours is near impossible. They require students (who DO NOT drive) to go to the location IN PERSON, to schedule driving hours. This is not easy or convenient. Please use technology and allow for signups via text, or online. Also, only one lesson can be scheduled at a time. Again, not convenient or easy to do. If you are looking for convenience do not go this route.

Fantastic experience: Alan is a great drivers ed teacher. He is a very nice and respectful person, very funny as well. I recommend his classes 100%.

Fantastic experience: I was afraid to learn how to drive, but this driver's ed program made it very easy and confrontable. The instructors there were great, and my driving improved greatly, at a speed I was comfortable with. I got my license yesterday and there was no hassle or problem.

Fantastic experience: David is probably the best driving instructor I will ever meet. And ofcourse he is a very nice guy. He made my learning experience pleasant and memorable. This driving school is the oldest in Las Cruces that many dont know about.
