Fantastic experience: As a former student taking lessons here, David and Oscar are very patient and gave great advice while I was learning how to drive. The workers were very nice people and I felt that they really cared about my growth as a new driver. Definitely recommend to try it out if you're looking to put your teen in a driving school.

Fantastic experience: We sent both of our teens to Student 1st Driving School. Their instructor David was punctual to every appointments-- and he taught and prepared my kids really well for their driving test. They both took 6 lessons and pass the test on the first try. We highly recommend this school.

Fantastic experience: You won't regret taking their courses! Obviously you should do some self-practicing after the lessons, but they really lay down the foundation for you on getting started on driving. Personally, I passed my driving test first try, and although most of my practicing came from driving outside if the lessons, having taken the courses from this driving school really helped me start with proper habits and basic intuition. Highly recommend for people who're getting started with driving!

Fantastic experience: I cannot give enough thanks to David at S1 Driving School for giving me the confidence I needed to pass my test on the FIRST TRY. I used to be the kind of person who was always SO nervous behind the wheel after a traumatic first lesson with a different company. I signed up for a lesson at S1 after my younger sister had started and praised how comfortable she was despite never driving. I had some of my own experience, and although I didn’t “technically” need lessons (I’m 20 years old so not required to take driving lessons), I felt like some lessons to refine my skills wouldn’t hurt. At the beginning of my lesson, I had told David the story of my first lesson and how it affected my driving and he understood and validated my feelings about driving after that experience, and always made me feel comfortable driving from then on! After that lesson, I booked two more immediately and they even gave me the discount that applies to three lessons. The curriculum is incredibly well thought-out, with various diagrams and resources available to students, making it so easy to prepare for the driving test. I was taught techniques that have significantly improved my driving efficiency and gave me the confidence needed to drive safely. Their customer service is also so helpful and professional. Again, I really couldn’t thank S1 and David enough for the incredible experience with their lessons!

Fantastic experience: Was really nervous to begin driving but from the start Oscar made sure I was comfortable. My confidence with driving easily built as Oscar never made me do anything I wasn't ready for. The communication was very clear when it came to what I was improving on and what I still needed practice on. He didn't mind going over things multiple times and was able to answer any questions I had and was patient. Its an amazing program as you go over many maneuvers and are always safe as the instructor also has a break pedal. There is a drastic change in my driving from the first session to the last.

He made me feel comfortable and it didnt't feel like I couldn't make a mistake, he had no problem acknowledging any mistakes and was able to provide useful tips to help fix the mistakes. Fantastic experience: The best driving school, I came here to see if can get my driving skills sharpened i already had some experience but wanted to a teacher to correct any mistakes i have before taking the road test. I had the honor to have Oscar show me the way and it was an awesome experience. He taught me alot and corrected the mistakes i was making in only 2 hours i learned alot and improved my driving, Oscar is a very nice guy and great instructor hands down the best. The car i was practicing on was the Acura sedan was a very nice and smooth ride very gentle car honestly loved it. When i was done Oscar explained after the session that i was ready for the test. Right away i made an appointment and rented out the same Acura Sedan because of how i felt comfortable driving it it helped boost my confidence. Day of the test Oscar picked me up on time and still had some time to practice before the test which was awesome. We revised what we learned to refresh my memory and went over the do’s and donts. Once i was done i passed my test flawlessly even the dmv lady was impressed with my driving. Im thankful that i had Oscar help me out i appreciate it alot. Fantastic experience: From start to end they were super transparent, flexible, welcoming and helped me work through my goals of becoming a safe driver. As someone who started driving later in life they really made it easy without feeling condescending. The instructor adapted to my learning style and gave me constructive feedback to correct/break certain bad behaviors. I saw significant improvement in my driving. I recommend that you supplement their classes with your own driving when possible to maximize results. Also, my instructor David took the time to diagram scenarios and explain why certain habits are dangerous which helped cement the knowledge. I also appreciated that they picked up and dropped me off at my house since they're local. Also, I appreciated the opportunity to support a local business! Worth the investment.

Oscar is incredibly helpful and effective at meeting you were you are (even if you're brand new) and tailoring lessons to focus on whatever areas you feel that you need to improve or even learn for the first time. If he feels that you're doing well, he'll modify your lesson plan to include some new things to practice. He's very observant and good at identifying even small mistakes; his feedback is always instant and I found that incredibly helpful, as I could understand what I was doing and how to do better. Similarly, he'll also let you know what you're doing well, which I always found to be a nice confidence boost and an indicator that I was improving. Oscar does a great job at breaking things down in a digestible way that is easy to pick up. I personally remember dramatically improving my turning smoothness in *one* try after he analyzed what I was doing and explaining a simple algorithm for turning; I was almost in disbelief in the immediate improvement I saw. Little tips like braking techniques to smooth out stops, turns, and more are are so helpful to learn early on; eliminating the jerkiness makes you feel so much more in control. Every single lesson was full of moments like these; I could see myself improving in real time and it was such an amazing feeling. Oscar is a truly good instructor and it really shows in his ability to comfortably and effectively guide you along. He's very easy to talk to and ask for specific advice, his honest opinion of how you're doing, or even just to have a casual conversation with. Should you want to, you can even use your final lesson to take your road test, which is what I did. Thanks to Oscar's invaluable teaching, and his honest evaluation that I was ready even when I doubted myself, I took the test and passed. I remember being pretty anxious before my first lesson, but by the end of it all that anxiety was long gone and I felt plenty confident and even looked forward to the next lesson; all thanks to Oscar's fantastic teaching ability and his earnest assurance that I was doing well. If you're considering any driving school, I could not recommend Student 1st more. Oscar really cares about your success and truly prioritizes you in all areas: instruction quality, schedule flexibility, pricing, and friendliness. My experience was invaluable, and I can't thank Oscar enough.

Fantastic experience: Oscar was my driving instructor for my behind the wheel training. On my first lesson, I told him the trouble I had with confidence behind the wheel and the small things I wanted to troubleshoot. My lack of confidence took a toll on my driving and Oscar noticed, so he knew what I needed to fix and helped me to better my technique. For example, my steering was not the best, but he introduced a new steering method that was much more efficient and I quickly became a fan of. He was very patient with me and friendly, not making the lessons boring, or tiresome, I looked forward to going back after the first lesson. As a student, I walked away after my third lesson feeling confident, because not only did I know the correct way to make turns, and approach stop signs, but I knew that because of Oscars help, I myself was seeing improvement already from the start. I want to thank Oscar for the training because I truly learned the importance of safe and proper driving, and I’m not just saying that. As most parents, I wanted my child to be safe and confident on the road. Luckily, I came across Student 1st Driving School! Not only did Oscar provide excellent instruction, he was a positive influence on my 18 yr. old son's attitude toward driving. That gave me peace of mind.
