Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend this driving school for any and everyone who is trying to get their license. My driving instructor Greg was extremely polite, patient, and very helpful with the tips and advice he was providing. I passed my road test today on the first try and Greg was a huge part in that. I recommend purchasing the road test package along with your sessions.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience driving with ADI - I had little experience driving before and was able to easily pass the road test. Greg was my instructor over the course of my several lessons, and he was great. Fun to work with, patient with my process and made sure we covered all important aspects of the road test. They pick you up and drop you off in your preferred areas, and purchasing the full drivers package with a lesson on the test day is a must imo. I highly recommend working with Greg and ADI if you're a beginner.

Fantastic experience: As a new driver with only a permit, I was extremely nervous about driving with anyone other than my mom, whether in the classroom or during driving sessions. I worried that the driving school might not be the right fit, but my mom encouraged me to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. From our very first visit, we were warmly welcomed by Chanel, a friendly and understanding young woman who guided us through the setup process with exceptional kindness and patience. I was then assigned to Gregory, an outstanding instructor who taught me everything I needed to know, from parking and hand signals to essential driving tips. With each lesson, my confidence grew and my driving skills improved. On the day of my road test, I practiced for a few hours with Gregory using ADL’s sponsor car before the test. Although I was a bit nervous, I felt confident in my abilities. I prayed to Jesus for help to do well, and my prayers were answered—I passed on my first attempt! I am incredibly grateful to ADL for this experience. If you’re considering enrolling, I can confidently say it’s worth every bit of your time and money !!!!

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, I didn't pass my test due to an absolute lack of experience (I couldn't drive at all when I joined the classes!)But the classes were amazing and not as stressful as expected. Greg is an amazing instructor who can teach all the essentials and make sure you remember everything before the driving test. I recommend the place!

I had Chris and Lawrence as my instructors. They are both very patient and prep you on what you need for the road test. Highly recommend this driving school

Fantastic experience: I’ve been in the process of getting my license for more than a year off and this was my fourth driving school and when I tell you from the first day I was very satisfied with the service they provide I mean it. They were always respectful and punctual from the instructors, to the ladies at the office. I’m very thankful that I was able to find this school I will recommend to everyone.

Negative experience: I had a good experience learning from them in October 2020. I was surprised to know that highway lessons are offered only after one gets the driver's license and I find that to be quite odd. Due to the covid-19, it was hard to get a slot for driving and I had to spread it out to many months. Some schools book the test with the rmv themselves but mine did not. The pickups were super convenient and very punctual. I wish my instructor had been a bit more encouraging while driving as I was a beginnner and I had to overcome my fears by driving around more with friends.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t know where to go to find a driving school and sort of took a chance on American Driving Institute because it was close to where I lived. I’m very happy I did! I did the road test package (I think it was 7 lessons and the day-of prep and accompaniment) ans passed on the first try. My instructor was Greg and he was really great. He taught me to be a safe and careful driver. I took 2 more lessons with Greg on the highway and that helped me a lot! I told him that he’s changing lives!

Fantastic experience: This school is hands down the best. They are upfront with you about where you are at with your driving. Safety is priority with them and communication is always great. My instructor was amazing he pushes you because he see's your potential. They don't make you spend more than you need to. They tell you if they feel that you are ready for your exam. I would recommend this school time and time again. Thanks to them I have my license .

Negative experience: Going off of all the good reviews that I saw here on Google, I’m not sure what kind of driving instructors others have had, but I just left my first driving lesson with Gregory feeling very discouraged and not confident at all. He didn’t really have the best attitude when teaching me the basics first. Also, I kept telling him that this was my first time driving behind the wheel ever. There should’ve been a driving instructor who was more patient and understanding, and humble. One that’ll make me feel more confident and not so discouraged after my very first lesson that I was so excited about. However, I did not get that experience. Not the best attitude nor personality at all.

Negative experience: Dont go to this driving school! they will take your money and give you no confidence and try to make you take more classes there scammers dont send your kids to this horrible driving school

Negative experience: I accept I was at fault as I didn't had my printed Learner's permit. I had called and was ready to pay my cancelation fee of 60$. But, the lady was rude and said she can't register my next class till I take a print out. I felt offended. You don't know what one is going through. I had recently lost my closed one's due to Covid back in my home country. And I almost forgot that I had a class today. I didn't had a printer at home. You don't know what a person is going through. I wish the owner and the staff don’t have to lose someone they love in this pandemic. Please talk to people softly from next time.

Negative experience: I called to get quote to get road lessons, they said that they don't pick up in Somerville its advertised they do, but that they will have their manager contact me. Its been a week and they never contacted me when i called they say that no manager has been the office to help and that they'll leave another note for the manager. the man on the phone was rude and I get i'm clearly frustrated with their lack of customer service and communication. i understand that due to the pandemic they are busy but that doesn't mean that you don't get back in contact with a potential customers. and even if you don't pick up in the area you could be more accomodating with people if someone is willing to be picked up in the area you do servic how is that a problem. i suggest that the owner train their staff better.
