Cazares Driving School: Reviews
Negative experience: I never got my refund for a class I thought was at Weslaco. The desk lady was nice tho and i did provide my personal info to receive it, but when a week or two had passed i had not received anything. It’s been almost a month and I’ve called multiple times, but they just tell me the owner is out of town. :(
Negative experience: It is nearly impossible to get a scheduled driving lesson once you complete the classwork.
Fantastic experience: The staff is friendly, caring, and helpful. I don’t have words to thank Gabriela. She is the instructor present for all but one lesson. She is also the instructor that helped my son during his private lesson for lesson 6 (highway). We have much appreciation and love for her patience and kindness in making my son’s journey as smooth as possible.
Positive experience: they made a typo on my certificate which made us leave the DMV, pick up a new one, and go back to the DMV
Fantastic experience: The driving test instructors are very kind and make you feel very comfortable.
Fantastic experience: Excellent service and personnel
Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Casarez Driving School, my daughter had a very pleasant experience throughout the entire process!!!!
Fantastic experience: My daughter Valerie, just took and passed her Driver's License test today. Great school, she raved about her instructor Mr. De la Rosa, she was very confident thanks to him. He reassured her she would pass and that she was ready and she was. Thank you Mr. Dela Rosa for being so patient and an awesome instructor!! I would definitely recommend your school.
Negative experience: I come for a class with them and they were cancelled that class and not call me earlier to advice me... So I make a trip with out reason... No nice guys in there.
Negative experience: Girls who work there don’t even communicate! My son had to pay a late fee after that girl tells me next step is to schedule for an appointment before Thursday to set up driving class. Today just found out that they don’t even do that any more and now out of no where my kid has a 25 late fee no show when at no point did we ever schedule an appointment at all.
Negative experience: Terrible! Classes are short, not 2 hours per day as advertised. The classes are cancelled with almost every rain and they tell you "the class will be rescheduled or the student will receive a self study packet," but it never happens. The danubenet, to schedule a driving lesson, hardly has any dates available and it is supposed to be updated each Thursday. I was told to login and refresh the page for an hour for available slots...who has time for that. When there is a date available, it is cancelled and rescheduled to their convenient date and time. There has been complaints by parents, where the teens' paid contract is about to expire and still need driving hours to complete. However can not complete the driving hours due to danubenet not having any slots available. We will be contacting Better Business Bureau, Texas Department of Public Safety and the local news regarding these issues.
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Cazarez driving school. My son went from zero driving techniques to driving confidently on the highway. The instructors are friendly, patient and professional. My son's instructor taught him driving skills in a way that improved his confidence which helped a lot since he was scared to drive. I also have to add that the receptionist was friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you Cazarez driving school!
Negative experience: The instructor by the name Aurorah Gonzalez was by far one of the worst instructors. It’s easy to pass the class because you have 2 chances to retake the test but she dosent teach anything and spends half the time going off topic and cleaning the restroom versus teaching her class. I do NOT recommend her at ALL.! Your better off learning from a book than taking her class.!
