Fantastic experience: I had to take this class because of a ticket, and honestly, I was dreading it but Reginald Glover made the experience so much better than I expected. Negative experience: This location is a scam. there is no logo or landmark that represents the 1ACT driving School. it's between a church and a asian restaurant. In a weird blank building. I called the #. And some chick in Sandy spring picked up. she's trying to supposedly help me find the location ended up hanging up on me. Then I called her back she didn't respond. 20 minutes later. she calls me and hangs up Don't waste your money or time this place is not legit. At this point I won't go any other locations!

Fantastic experience: Guled is the most patient, calm, polite and professional instructor I’ve had. He is very accommodating on the routes I want to practice. He helped me tremendously with driving on the highway and real-life parking (not just with some cones!). He never uses his phone the whole time but only focuses on teaching. I’m a highly anxious new driver and lack confidence. But after just 2 sessions with Guled I’m on another level. The car at 1 ACT is also very clean and well-maintained, no smell of perfume or smoke. Prior to 1 ACT, I had a not-so-stellar experience with 3 other instructors in another driving school in Atlanta, where they liked to chat loudly on the phone or play social media during instruction… or not listening to my needs. So I’d definitely recommend 1 ACT!

Fantastic experience: Just got my driving license this afternoon and the only regret I had was not coming to 1 Act sooner! I came to the States for school and never had I ever touched the steering wheel before my first lesson with my instructors. Found 1 Act on Google and I have to thank all the reviews here as they really motivated my decision to go forward. I had my lessons with Christopher Drummond and Laura Corvino and they were both amazing instructors in their own ways. With zero driving experience to start with, I definitely benefited a lot from their teaching experience, as they really focused on and honed in my weaknesses. I think that’s really important to improve, especially in short amount of time! I also got my defensive driving class with David Wall. It was a pleasant experience, and I got my certificate the next day. Lauren, Denise, and Ashley at the office are so sweet and helpful on the phone. Just a quick note: if you can, stay away from scheduling your road test at DDS Decatur. The staff was polite, but the waiting was ridiculous. My instructor and I got stuck there for nearly 2 hours of helpless waiting. Their explanation? “System was down for 3 hours and we can’t do the test in the rain.” But the wait really highlighted how delightful Ash is! I happened to receive so many words of wisdom from him, stories about his family and how he ran this business. At one point, when we really had no clue until when we had to wait, he said “Well after this wait, we might as well become relatives. You’re gonna call me uncle” LOLOL! I definitely would be very pleased to have an uncle who’s such insightful and warm-hearted Thank you all for your support and I wish you all the best helping more students improve their driving!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful service and wonderful employees (Denisse and Felicia) Both went beyond, from my point of view, in helping me.  I got my driver's license today.  The service I received since I started to look for a driving school was amazing.  Felicia, she is so diligent, so sweet, very knowledgeable, very patient.  She is the best. I do not know about the other employees but if the other are the same, let me tell you, you have a wonderful work force. I absolutely recommend this driving school with my eyes closed. Fantastic experience: I am so happy my husband found 1 Act Driving school for our son Ryan. Ms. Felicia was very patient with him and she made him feel comfortable. She also made me feel comfortable as a parent. Not sure about others, but my husband and I are very selective when it comes to doing business. Felicia was the right fit, she was personable and most importantly my son was happy with her as well. She helped us accomplish this goal as it didn't always fit into our schedules, Thank you for your professionalism as well as being very personable with us! Ms. Felicia was as excited as we were when he got his license! Great company and great instructor!

Fantastic experience: 1 Act DUI school was a great experience. Ash is a super nice dude and is willing to work with what weekend you want to schedule it. Not to mention they give you lunch from Longhorn Steakhouse. All in all its pretty informative and for something that I was court ordered to do Ash and company made it a comfortable and welcoming place to spend a weekend.

Fantastic experience: Amazing, just amazing. From the moment I talked to Ash Hodge on the phone, I knew that this was going to be the school I attended. He made me feel like this was going to be one of the best decisions I could make to get my life back on track, and he has followed through. I would have never thought a DUI school like this existed. The staff is helpful, friendly, funny and very encouraging. They understand that not everyone is required to take this course because they were on a drunk driving rampage. The classes are small and engaging. The instructor adapted to our questions, concerns, and feelings. She didn't just read from the book like a robot. The lessons and skills taught are practical and easy to understand. I've learned a lot about myself, my friends and the direction I want my life to take. And this coming from someone who figured I was just going to be hearing things I already knew. Now, about the lunch. I was expecting a double cheeseburger meal for McDonald's. Instead, on the first day, I was treated to a half pound bacon and cheddar burger and today, I sunk my teeth into a savory chicken and avocado flatbread sandwich both from Longhorn Steakhouse. Aside from that, there's always snacks available for those feeling low on blood sugar, coffee made fresh every morning and a plethora of other beverages available for purchase (with the most expensive drink topping out at $2). I could talk about how awesome this school is all day and my friends can attest to that. But I know you're tired of reading this so I'll just say this: Go to this school. Pay the same you would at any other school. Get the 5 star treatment one could only dream of. Get your license/life back. It's that simple. Thanks for reading. And thank you Ash. You're the man!

Fantastic experience: It was a very informative course and helped put things in a different perspective for me. The staff was great and very helpful. Also they're the only place I found that buys you Longhorn steakhouse for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. As well as snacks and refreshments available during breaks. If you need to take this course to get your license back or it's court ordered this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Excellent DUI class. The material is very informing and teaches you how to make the best decisions possible in certain situations. The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable about the material. The longhorn lunch is awesome and was also very hot and fresh. I did a lot of research before I picked this class and safe to say I think I made a excellent decision. Never want to be in a class like this but if you have to this is the class you want to be in.

Fantastic experience: When I say I was dreading the experience I may have at defensive driving class I mean I was experiencing high anxiety!!! When I stepped into 1st Act I was warmly welcomed by the owner who was very pleasant. Grapes, cookies and crackers were available at the entrance which came in handy since I skipped breakfast. My biggest surprise was the cleanliness of the facility as I was expecting a crowd full of ruthless attendees in a dingy unkept place. My overall experience was definitely a 10+ and surprisingly informative. I highly recommend 1st Act Driving School.

It's not about the money here they want you to full aware before you leave. Lunch is free so you want have leave for anything. I recommend this school for everybody that has to take this class.
