Oregon Area Driving School

Fantastic experience: I recommend this school 100%, had both of my kids go through, four years apart, both experiences were great, instructors are nice, friendly, vehicles are newer. Great communication, I got plenty of notices for upcoming appointments. Kids liked the instructors, they drove different vehicles which is nice so they don't get accustomed to one vehicle. The instructors will work with you to change or cancel appointments. Everything was covered per the DMV, answered all of my questions even if it was not for the kids! They both did the online course as that was the most convenient for us. They also offered in-class classroom and on-line-classroom. I would go back!

Fantastic experience: We were able to choose a self paced online driver ed course that worked well for our family's schedule. The online scheduling for behind the wheel lessons was easy to use and had many options for days and times. Dave and Marcia were very pleasant and knowledgable. My son recently took his driver's test and passed! I would highly recommend Oregon Area Driving School. We will be using them again when the time comes for our youngest to take driver's ed.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. Classroom portion was during Covid and we thought the 2 hour Zoom classes would be dreadful but our daughter actually enjoyed them. Teaching was excellent and kids interacted. In the car driving experience was great. Dave worked with our schedule for Saturday morning sessions. Recommended to us and we recommend to others now! 2023/24 update- Our youngest has also now done OADS and we continue to be thrilled with them again. She did the in-person class. If you have a child who prefers being around people to learn rather than self-paced, online, sign up! She had a great time (truly!!) and got to meet kids from different schools. Dave was great in helping us get her last two in-the-cars done by her bday so she had her license before year’s end.

Their teaching style was great and easy to understand and they really took their time making sure I knew what I was doing and doing it safe! The online classes were also very good! Scheduling was easy and straight forward! Highly recommend this driving school!

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Dave and Marcia. Very easy to work with, easy to schedule behind the wheel and responsive to questions. My daughter enjoyed working with them. I plan on using them again for our next one when he is learning to drive. I would definitely recommend them!

Fantastic experience: driving at OADS was the best experience I've had in a long time, Dave the instructor made me feel very welcomed, answered all my questions when I asked and gave throughout answers, he also cares for his students a lot and its hard to see that in people these days, but Dave and the whole experience at OADS was just a kind and welcoming environment and I'm personally glad to have driven there before I get my license, because I know for sure safety on the road.

Fantastic experience: So we just finished up driving school with our youngest. We used oregon area driving school for all 3 of our kids. They are great! They where easy to work with, affordable, and the kids where comfortable working with them. Definitely recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Oregon area driving school!! I very recently did lessons there and I could honestly say they are so amazing at what they do and i’m really glad i went there. They helped me improve on things i needed too and things i didn’t even know about they also took the time and patiences to help they never rushed through anything which personally for me made it very helpful and easy to learn!

I highly recommend Oregon Driving School for anyone looking to improve their driving skills, and specifically recommend Dave as an instructor. He is a good guy who truly cares about his students' progress.

Fantastic experience: You wanna drive fast this is not the place for you, they are safe and fair in their practice and I might have more kids just to send them to the Oregon Area Driving School.

Fantastic experience: We tried this place out as they had all the needed pieces in a single package where our son could do the classroom education either online or in a class then do the driving. They answered all my questions up front. We got personal service in working out driving dates that were flexible to our schedules which was key for us. They covered key principals and more in the behind the wheel including a trip downtown Madison. It cost less than the other big names but well worth it for the personal service and feedback our son got on his driving. If I had found this place for our prior child and knowing how good this one was I would have sent them to this instead.

Fantastic experience: Our son did the online virtual class when everything was shut down. He was very engaged and it seemed to be a better fit than doing it on his own. When he drove with the instructor everything was great was very well constructed and finished in a timely manner. We were very happy with the full experience.

Fantastic experience: Marcia and Dave are fantastic to deal with. We signed our daughter up with Oregon and we live out of town and drove her there as we had heard nothing but great things and all are true. They really took the time to teach the kids thoroughly both virtually and in class and kept the interaction and lines of communication open during class between in-person and virtual. Took time to make sure they were prepared for testing. Flexible on drive times and even took the kids into downtown Madison to get extra driving experience when ready. I dealt with another local company that I know stayed only local in our town with my two older children and did not get much other experience so that was a nice bonus. I would recommend Oregon Area Driving School over all others 100%. Thanks for all you Marcia and Dave!

Driving behind the wheel was very flexible with our schedule and was great instruction for our son! Fantastic experience: My son had a seemless experience with OADS. From his online work to behind the wheel lessons, everything was well organized. Marcia and Dave were very easy to work with. For any busy family, they offer lots of options to get your student driver the experience he/she needs.

Negative experience: Will not schedule my daughter for her driving classes or return calls to schedule. Getting ridiculous, do not recommend using this company. My daughter has been waiting for many months and is turning 16 in a couple weeks.
