Fantastic experience: if i could give more than 5 stars i would , i had an amazing experience with this driving school. everyone that works there is very nice and helpful. during my behind the wheel training they made sure i was comfortable driving and gave me all the knowledge i would need to pass my driving test by taking me to see the actual course i’ll be on during the test and letting me do test runs on the road. i passed my test the FIRST time around because of them i really appreciate them❤️.

Negative experience: Mr. Nelson is disrespectful, rude, and disorganized. He isn't a good instructor and he was tough on my granddaughter as she was learning how to drive after her best friend's car accident.

Negative experience: I enrolled to this driving school through PGCC. The online portion was fine but it was incredibly difficult to get the appointment scheduled for the in person driving lessons. I would call the school and they would tell me they would call me back. The person who would call is the owner of the school. They took at least a week the first time and offered me an appointment for the next day. When I told them I couldn't take the appointment because I had work, they said okay and hung up. I told the school my availability but they would consistently call and offer me a lesson for the next day. All the appointments were on days I told them I was not available. Every time I would repeat my availability to them and they kept telling me to make more room in my schedule to fit them in. They even said at one point if I had just opened up my schedule more I would have been done. This went on for months. Finally I was able to get an lesson that fit into my schedule. My instructor was great. At the end of the lesson, I asked him about scheduling the next lesson. He told me I could try to talk to the owner. I went in and tried to talk to him but he was immediately rude, like he had been on the phone. When I told him I wanted to schedule an appointment in advance, he told me his business didn't operate like that. I pointed out to him that calling people and offering appointments for the next day was ineffective since it didn't leave time for them to take off of work. Eventually, he refused to speak to me anymore and demanded I get my mother and he would talk to her instead. I was the one who paid for the lessons, not my mother. He told her he wouldn't be talked to like that by a young person. I hadn't been rude, I was just trying to get appointments scheduled in advance. Eventually I got the next two appointments scheduled. During my next lesson, I saw the schedule book left out on the counter open in plain view for whoever walks in. The owner had written problem. If you want a driving school where you can schedule appointments and not be berated, go somewhere else.

Negative experience: As an older learner, this school isn’t the best option because they prioritize the teenagers. This business is also disorganized. I have been trying to get time on the road to obtain my hours, and I need more than the required six because I don’t have a coach. I keep getting told that I gotta wait. This is going on 3 months now. The only redeeming quality about this school is that the younger instructors are very nice and knowledgeable. Mine was great but he left the school to go back to his main job. I’m very disappointed. I will likely have to pay someone else to help me get the skills and hours.

Fantastic experience: The staff members were nice and polite. They communicated well what my son needed to do as far as his driving skills and pass the MVA test. This was his first 2 hour drive with the instructor. He had completed the online classes. I learned a few things when I checked to see if he was in class. The business place was clean and easy to find.

Fantastic experience: As of November 2022, I finally have my provisional license (went to Annapolis DMV. Took the test the first time and passed). I just wanted to write this review and thank all the kind, informative, and patient instructors for helping me along on this journey. I felt confident going into the test with all the feedback I recieved from you all during my test. I wish you all the best and to all the newest drivers, trust in the process and do your best!

Negative experience: The older gentleman who took my niece driving called her “boo” multiple times, made reference to George Floyd when police drove by while she was driving when she got nervous. Told her she was wasting her grandmother’s money while she was LEARNING to drive. Rolled his eyes when my sister confronted him about calling her boo and making her feel uncomfortable. I would highly suggest going elsewhere or at the least ensuring this fool isn’t the one doing the instructing. To my knowledge, he is the owner.

Fantastic experience: The staff here went above and beyond at all steps of my drivers education process to ensure that I was about to pass with my license at my own convenience. The accelerated program they offered allowed me to complete my on the road practice hours within only 2 weeks. And on request they even drove me to my selected ending destinations at the end of the practice session, making so that I would any miss any prior engagements afterwards. And above all on the day of my test they allowed me to both practice the Open & Closed road sections before taking. Even when I made a error on my even and scheduled at the Annapolis MVA they were generous enough to take me over there to complete my test even after the appointment slot has passed. Overall I cannot praise the folks over at Linnel nearly enough for their services.

Fantastic experience: I am typing this with so many tears of joy!! Today, I went to take my driving test FINALLY, after years of being afraid of the road. I paid for a car rental and one hour test practice. Mr. Nelson was completely AMAZING and more knowledgeable than I expected. He literally walked me step by step, took me on the driving route to get me familiar with the road and signs, and he even pointed out some important pieces that I would have NEVER paid attention to in order to pass my test. He is a genius at the 2 point turn reverse. Every neevous feeling I had he helped me face before testing... I can go on about why I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend ANYONE to try this driving school out. The customer service was great, the staff is encouraging, and it made my test a piece of cake... just pay attention to every detail they tell you and you will pass your road test with flying colors. Today I PASSED my road test my FIRST attempt because I had a very calm and patient instructor.... this is hands down THE best driving school in MARYLAND!! You will not regret it. It's all worth the money I PROMISE!!! I can official say i have my license before my 30th birthday lol. Thank you Mr. Nelson I am so grateful. Thank you 123 ABC driving school. Fantastic experience: The trainer was very helpful and kind and he taught every thing very clear with slide show during the 3 hours alcohol and drug class that how we can drive safe. And also he taught the MVA laws.

Positive experience: good place, but i can only give it 3.8/5, the reason why because some of the instructors make you feel stupid when learning how to drive. when all you needed is practice!!

Negative experience: I Hated this place, it's the f******* worst they act like they have so much to do but are very lazy, and they even set up these package deals to get your license faster for an insane price!! All I wanted to do was get my license but they prolonged me for so long it makes no since and some of the staff is very rude. please do me a favor and don't go to this driving school !!!!!

Fantastic experience: I wish to acknowledge the professional service provided by Mr. Nelson and the entire staff at Linnel Driving School. Mr. Nelson worked diligently to assure that the service and items I needed for my son's to complete his driving education class and on the road driving was done correctly and the utmost professionalism. His demeanor was caring and impressive and made sure all my questions were addressed. I personally experience Linnel's excellent customer service from him. He provided resolution to all areas of my concern with perfection. He listened to my concerns and in a matter of time resolved each issue. We've all had terrible customer service experiences. Personally, when I receive poor customer service, I give the company one more opportunity to make it up to me before I sever all ties with them and look for an alternative. But others aren't so patient. In most cases, you only get one chance to make a great impression on a customer through your service, Mr. Nelson and his staff did. It's incredibly important to listen to what your customer is telling you. Never assume you know what's best. Listen objectively and ask questions to get to the crux of the customer's concerns, so that you can help them quickly and efficiently. He identified with my concerns as a customer and explain that he would do everything to resolve any future issue if they occurred. He made me as a customer feel important and was sincere with the transaction. By his being thoughtful and interested in me and my son as a customer will help keep me as a loyal prospective customer and share it with all my friends. Negative experience: I’m so disappointed with this driving school. Completely disorganized and unreliable. The state mandates driving school; however, no accountability on the school s participation and performance. I took it through PG College and I will definitely express my concerns with this partnership. The 6 hours road/driving time is a joke. The instructor actually expects you to KNOW how to drive well BEFORE getting into the car with him. What do I need him for, right? Save the Money, Time, and frustration....seek a better school
