Manny's Drivers Ed

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Manny's Drivers Ed to anyone who is needing to take the drivers test to get their license.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved here, and the language and driving style are entirely different from what I was used to. When I had questions and reached out via text, I received detailed responses every time. I was quite nervous about taking my driving test, but meeting Linda made all the difference. She was incredibly calm and polite, and she explained everything about driving so well that I felt relaxed. I highly recommend this place for taking a driving test.

Negative experience: Bad service (racist) Soy de Mexico, he manejado con licencia de México en por 20 años, sé las reglas de conducir y las cumplo estrictamente, jamás me han dado un ticket por manejar mal, le expliqué que no se al 100% el inglés y le expliqué el motivo por el cual necesitaba la licencia, solo cometí un error al manejar y me dijo YO SE QUE SABES MANEJAR PERO NECESITAS HACERLO OTRA VES…. Sinceramente tiene poco criterio para dar una calificación aprobatoria.

Fantastic experience: Manny's Driving has a wonderful Lady who tested both my teens. She is polite, patient, explained everything with them. She took the time after completing the road test, to sit an explain and go over each result. Then she gives them pointers to become better drivers. I would recommend Mandy's Driving Education to anyone.

Negative experience: Save your money and go some place else. These people try to find every excuse in the book to try to fail you.

Fantastic experience: I scheduled a road test for my husband at Manny's. It was very easy to do over text and all the information was given so we knew when, where, and how much. Linda was super nice and welcoming when we arrived at the facility! Overall a great experience and we were able to get in quick compared to the DMV

Negative experience: If I could give LINDA a 0…. I would! Yes, she’s friendly enough face to face, because she wants your $$70$$ you might as well chew your $ and swallow it! She stated my daughter passed the drivers test, but FAILED parallel parking!!!! She told me my daughter smashed into the poles…. Lie!!! She didn’t smash into pole at ALL… she told my daughter she hit the imaginary CAR how does that work??? She DIDN’T touch the pole. She done great on her driving part, in a snow storm with 8 inches of snow. Save your $ PLEASE just go to DMV. Please read all reviews! Wished I had.;(

Fantastic experience: I don’t remember the name of the gall that did my test but she was absolutely awesome! I was panicking a little bit before my road test and she talked to me which helped so much! I would definitely recommend taking the road test here!

Negative experience: I don’t usually review so poorly, but never ever go here. The other poor reviews will also tell you this. (I should have listened!) My drivers test was $70, and it was nonrefundable. Julie was rude to me the entire time and nerve-racking to be around. I’ve been driving on a permit for a while now without any problems, and she immediately failed me for going a couple miles over the speed limit. Which is weird, because that’s legal. Worst $70 ever spent. Incredibly rude old ladies that only want to take your money to pay their lease. Just make an appointment at the DMV, it’s much better.

Negative experience: My daughter showed up early for her appointment, tried to open office door which was locked. Called and texted repeatedly only to have the lady say she missed her appointment. Very sad services don’t recommend this company. Didnt even try to help out with the situation after waiting 2 weeks for the appointment.

Fantastic experience: Quick easy test. Had good, helpful conversations with staff. Over all it was a great experience.

Negative experience: Not for people with Mild Autism and/or ADHD. They can use some work on not being intimidating. The driving portion can also be made intimidating by the instructor and the instructor prefers that you use her method of steering. While that can be okay for brand new drivers for people with some experience and already have steering built in to their head it can be hard.

Negative experience: The instructor was very rude do not ever work with Linda she is a horrible teacher.

Negative experience: We sent our daughter through their class. I don’t have complaints regarding the content. However, the instructors were unprofessional. They made fun of a kid taking the in-person class for wearing a mask, refused to mask during my daughters road test and encouraged my daughter to take her mask off (we have an unvaccinated sibling at home, so no) and was quite vocal about her political beliefs which have no place in this environment.

Negative experience: Ok dmv is closed for road test so options are limited the lady was to slow letting you no when to get in a Lane to turn and she acts so superior

Negative experience: Go to dmv dont waste your time and money nitpicks even when you follow the drivers manual with what to do.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter took her road test today! We had a great experience. Her instructor explained everything in detail and took time to answer questions. Very friendly. We also had a great feedback session and life driving lessons afterward. Highly recommend for a teen driver taking their first test as we had a terrible experience at the UMV in Anchorage.

Fantastic experience: Did not use Driver's Ed Course but my two older boys did take their test with Manny's and it was great

Negative experience: The classroom time is educational, and helpful, but very lengthy. Driving lessons are usually an hour each day for two weeks, you pay up front. No refunds I was told, you have the choice of three ladies to drive with. (If you sign up for driving lessons) I do not recommend the driving portion of the class, it is very unprofessional and nerve wracking. I would randomly have my instructor grab at my wheel, talk very loudly, and be a complete distraction. The prices are also very expensive, around $650.00 for classroom/driving/driving test combined. And if you fail your test, you have too pay $50.00 to take it again. Just go to the DMV, don't send yourself/your child here. It isn't worth the money, or the time.

Negative experience: Not worth the money spent. Driving instructor was not transparent about failing you on mediocre parallel parking. Told you when to turn way too late and made me nervous the entire time. Just go to the dmv.
