PowerRide University is Virginia's top choice for motorcycle education. Whether you have never touched a motorcycle, or you have been riding for years with or without your endorsement, this is the school for you!

We are a locally owned and operated school. All of our Rider Coaches are experienced and certified in teaching the public how to ride a motorcycle safely and still have fun. We offer introductory classes, basic and advanced classes for ages 16 and up. We are approved by the Virginia Department of Rider Education and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation.

Fantastic experience: Great class, I took the 2-wheel course with Larry(Joe) this past weekend and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. About half of the riders had never ridden before, myself included, but he made sure we were pacing ourselves the entire time. A passionate cool guy. Definitely recommending PRU to anybody who wants to take a motorcycle class.

Fantastic experience: Great fun learning how to ride. First time ever on a motorcycle. Took the two wheels course, learned a lot and had a great time. Instructors are very motivated and appreciate the importance of safety and fun. Met some great people taking the course. Highly recommend for learning something new and a great weekend.

Fantastic experience: I am very glad that I decided to take this course, and I couldn't have asked for better instructors. Steve and Ron were excellent at teaching us how to ride motorcycles and took our safety very seriously. I always wanted to ride motorcycles and now that I've taken this course, I feel much safer riding.

Fantastic experience: Great operation, good instructors, nice motorcycles, well paced instruction. Very glad I used their 2 day BRC, had serious fun! Neil and JJ were great!

Fantastic experience: Jim and Keith are great instructors. They take time to teach you and go through the course with you. I would recommend this for anyone who needs their license or never ridden before. I couldn’t thank them enough!

Fantastic experience: Just finished a class in Chesapeake with this company and I can’t say enough good words about them!! I had a class with another company a couple weeks prior that was the worst class I’ve ever had. The other class had bikes that didn’t even work properly...PowerRide University had GREAT bikes that are pretty new or newer and that actually work. The instructors were hands down the best instructors ever. Thanks PowerRide university!
