Fantastic experience: Training was very well structured and representative of real world adv riding. Coaches and accommodations were also top notch. I had my reserves on the terrain being it was Texas and held on a private ranch, but both the natural features as well as the training obstacles that were built were very diverse. They did an excellent on creating such a variety of terrain.

Fantastic experience: I'm just finishing Day 3 of their Big Bend Tour and i wanted to share my experience while it is fresh in my mind. Austin Moto Adventures is a top notch organization! I'll start with the location is a great for riding. The AMA team is so fun to hang out with! Rosson, Tim and Jocelin were our guides. All three were easy to follow, no ego, just amazing customer service and focused having fun and being safe. Paula was our cook and she deserves a 6th star on this review. I will 100% be back to ride with these guys again and am already planning to do one of their training classes in the fall. Highly recommended - don't hesitate - book your tour with confidence that you will be taken care of!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy that I found Austin Moto Adventures. Combination of creature comforts, Texan hospitality, well maintained motorcycles, knowledgeable instructors and a super-friendly atmosphere made it an awesome weekend. Fantastic experience: AMA Review Austin Moto Adventures (AMA) just keeps getting better and better! In spring 2023 when AMA first opened their Reveille Peak Ranch adventure motorcycle training resort I had the good fortune to receive 2-days of ‘one on one’ private instruction there. I had previously received training at two other ADV training facilities. AMA’s was second to none! Two years later I recently joined two days of a level 3 AMA class. The training course improvements were incredible! Adventure riding real world stuff; for example the obstacle single track, Black Dog hill, the ‘rock garden’, and ‘baby head’ climb. Even their own newly constructed ‘challenge’ course puts all your acquired new skills to the test! AMA just keeps getting better and better! Their training facility is unmatched! I look forward to returning in a year or two!

Fantastic experience: Went to dirt bike training this weekend. Met new friends from New England, Canada, and Dallas. Everyone was so encouraging and supportive of eachother, friends forever. An amazing, blessed experience. I learned so much and gained confidence. I stalled out on an 8 foot high hump and fell onto my head. Lol. I'm ok, hit the hardest thing on my body. Then went over this huge bridge. 3 of the guys werent going to go...but since I went they felt compelled to go over it. I'm so glad I had this experience. Also the food and accommodations were of the highest quality.

Fantastic experience: Best tour ever! I have been on many tours throughout the world and this takes the cake. Incredible time in Ouray, Colorado enjoying mountain pass after mountain pass. The team at Austin Moto Adventures put on an epic event! The lodging, the meals prepared by their chef Paula, the condition of the motorcycles, the experience and friendliness of the guides-nothing better! From the boss on down, what a great group they have put together. Do yourself a favor and go on this bucket-list trip, you will not be disappointed. Fantastic experience: Just returned from the Ouray Hub Tour with Austin Moto and this was by far the best motorcycle tour I have ever done. Everything was first class from the accommodations, to the food and the awesome comradery. Fantastic experience: I recently completed a week of adventure riding in Colorado with Austin Moto. My overall experience as a first-time client of Austin Moto was what I expected it should be and then some. From my arrival to my departure the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of every step of the way. During the week, the staff interacted with their clients to make sure the rides were accommodating to the various skill levels. Given the range of technicality of rides each of us could find a ride which would best fit our skill set. What was good about that approach was that it allowed for flexibility given the various riding conditions we came upon. The ratio of staff to clients was about one to one. The core staff was very professional, engaging, and respectful of its clients. They made sure our needs were met all along the way. Several years ago, I rode several different events with another adventure training group based in California. They never came close to matching the level of service I experienced with Austin Moto. In the prior experience I came away with a sense that the ownership’s focus was them first and the client last. In the case of Austin Moto, the client comes first. One final example of Austin Moto’s approach that really set it apart was that they had a chef on staff for us to make our meals everyday. The chef worked hard and long everyday to make sure we were well fed. Those extra touches made you feel like you were starting from home and returning to the same each day. You could not ask for more!

The professionalism and care with which this event was executed was incredible to see. You definitely need to experience it for yourself! Fantastic experience: The Ouray Tour with Austin Moto Adventures was fantastic. The area around Ouray is beautiful and getting to enjoy riding some of the most amazing off-road trails with the best trainers and team is hands down the greatest experience ever. The lodge where we stayed was very beautiful and private. Chef Paula is amazing, 3 meals a day plus snacks and appetizers, I think I gained 10 lbs. Austin Moto's attention to deals, intimate setting and their desire to exceed your expectations definitely shows in everything they do. I would highly recommend Austin Moto Adventures for their premier training and tours.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Austin Moto Adventures for Levels I and II adventure bike training surpassed my expectations. Our instructors Rob, Amy, and TJ are very professional and have an amplitude of positive reinforcement which helped me to get through the drills that were difficult for me. I came out of this class with much more awareness of proper riding techniques and and an increase in my own riding self-esteem. The accommodations and meals and overall hospitality is over the top. I highly recommend AMA to any one just getting into adventure bike riding like my self and any one that wants to improve their skills.

Fantastic experience: Off-road training with Austin Moto adventures was extraordinary. The riding was great and instruction in particular was incredible. The BMW 1250 gs I rented was so much fun, and the cabins were perfect. The food was fantastic (thanks Paula)! The "tribe" was super special and we couldn't have had a better experience. We will be back for Level 3!!!

Fantastic experience: What a great weekend training experience! I purchased an Adventure bike (Harley Pan America) in April 2024. I've ridden on road for years, but this is the first time I've been off road since I was very young, and I am no longer very young. I decided it might be best to get some training on this beast before I head out for some trail fun, so after reviewing options I selected Austin Moto Adventures. Turned out to be just the ticket. The facility is great - very well set up for training and some riding to help get you comfortable on the bike. The instructors were phenomenal - they were fun while at the same time taking our training very seriously. I watched our entire class progress in skill set rapidly ever the weekend - and our group brought a wide variety of skill sets, from really good to very new riders. After hours they provided great food, drinks, and guidance based on their extensive experience with Adventure motorsports. These men and women have ridden everywhere and can intelligently answer any question you might have. They provided gear and packing tips that will help me have a safer and more enjoyable trip when I go. Then when its time to hit the rack the nice little air conditioned cabins and private bathrooms/showers were very welcome. I am so happy I took the plunge. I have my first adventure bike trip planned now in a few short weeks, and I feel like I am much better prepared for it. Thanks Austin Moto Adventures - see you for Level 3!!

Fantastic experience: If you have any thought of going off road on a big adventure bike then Austin Moto is the place to learn. I had just bought a big ADV bike and had ZERO experience on dirt bikes. I tried going off road with my new motorcycle and had a terrible experience. I had already signed up for the class so I thought I’d try it even though my mind was just about made up that off roading a big bike was not for me. Half way through the first day my mind was changed. There has been a lot of thought to this program in how they train you one piece at a time. The approach instills confidence with each drill. Couple this with constant attention and feedback and you’ll be on your way. By the second day I found myself incredulous in my ability to not only tackle the obstacles but wanting more. Maybe there’s some voodoo magic they put into the fine meals. Regardless, the professionalism and skill sets of the training staff was second to none.

Fantastic experience: H-D Pan America off-training with Austin Moto Adventures in Burnet, Texas was such an awesome experience! It was a 3-day training (Friday - Sunday) where I stayed in one of the very cozy cabins throughout the time I was there and completed levels 1 & 2. Beyond grateful for the very experienced instructors who provided such awesome training, the location was perfect and the other riders I trained with had great vibes/positive attitudes the entire time. So incredibly happy that my first off-road training was with Austin Moto Adventures and 100% recommend them if you’re interested in improving your dirt riding skills!

Fantastic experience: I have to say, showing up to an ADV training alone was a little intimidating, but the staff and other attendees really made me feel right at home! The grounds are amazing, the trails immaculate and the coaches really know how to dial in the training so that its personalized for both you and your bike. Fantastic experience: If you're from the northern US and need to get your mid-winter motorcycle fix and fantastic training to boot, Austin Moto Adventures is the place for you. Our group of 3 came from MN to take the training. Two for the Level 1&2 course and one for the Level 3. The staff bent over backwards to make the training top notch for everyone, customizing the advanced course to address the areas that needed to be worked on. The setting is perfect for off-road training with lots of trails and technical features. The accommodations are the best in the industry that I'm aware of and the staff.....the staff is passionate about your success in this course and they have the teaching skills to make it happen. Next to safety gear, training is the best investment that you can make for your adventure motorcycle addiction. Be better. Sign up.

Fantastic experience: I've ridden bikes for years, but this was my first Adv moto training class. My goals were to pick up some criticial off road skills and unlearn some bad habits...It did not disappoint! To start with, the instruction and support staff were amazing: patient but persistent teachers and great hosts! They started with basic skills and each new lesson built on the last. Their personalized instruction and the number of practice reps made progressing through the course very comfortable. This was some of the most effective training I've ever received. As a bonus, the food, accommodations, and conversation were on point. Thanks Austin Moto Adventures!

Fantastic experience: Austin Moto Adventures! Above and beyond! Rosson, Rob, Josh, Mike and Tara worked tirelessly to ensure we had a great class. Their professional “meet you where you are” instruction was outstanding. We all came away with honed skills and confidence. The facilities are a great enhancement to the course. From the training grounds, cabins, fire pit, and garage they have tried to think of everything! For a number of reasons we had a very small class. I have to believe that other courses would have canceled the class but not Austin Moto Adventures. We all appreciated their commitment! I have been to another training course. They were good but I’ll be back to Austin Moto!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing experience. A great group of people who are 110% committed to ensuring that everybody has a great time. They go above and beyond, and then ask what else could they do to be even better. I learnt so much during my stay and they catered for both very experienced through to inexperienced riders without missing a beat. An awesome location that provided for everything that we could ask for and then some. I loved the food too as well a cold beer around the firepit of an evening. I will be back.

Fantastic experience: I had ridden my new HD PanAmerica 1250 off road a couple times and felt very anxious on rocks, gravel and mixed surfaces even though I had ridden street motorcycles most of my life. All the old skills were somehow different now! My adventure bike friends recommended I take off-road training early on to get foundational off road adventure bike skills. Searching adventure training on my computer brought up a couple possible training venues. I settled on Austin Moto Adventures in Texas for several reasons. I had heard the names and reputation of senior instructors like Rob Glass, Josh Jones and Rosson Richardson, who anchored the training staff we worked with. Also the fact I could rent a HD PanAm like I owed at home to learn on made it a no-brainer to fly in and learn on the same bike I already owned, and finally the quality of the cabin lodging experience with the good food and fire-pit evenings. Austin MotoAdventures focuses on building a community and tribe of adventure riders. Those riders bond over the training experience and create valuable friendships while sharing gear ideas and potential future off-road adventures. The weekend did not disappoint! The riding skills we learned each day built on the previous sessions and by the end of the day we were riding surfaces comfortably that we couldn't do comfortably previously. I highly recommend Austin MotoAdventures no matter what level your experience.

Fantastic experience: WOW what an experience!!!! This group & training facility is amazing. If you have any desire to ride off road or hone skills you already have, Go Do This! The instructors were so good at tailoring training to the individual. The support staff tended to our every need. There were even s'mores at the firepit. Cabins were cozy and came with Keurig. Highly recommend Austin Moto Adventures!

Fantastic experience: I was impressed with everyone at Austin Moto Adv! From the instructors, to the support staff. All amazing, knowledgable people. It was a welcoming and FUN environment! If you do a course here and aren't HOOKED for life, you need to get your head checked! Even with students with a broad range of motorcycle experience, everyone learned a lot and had a great time. I am definitely a newcomer to ADV riding and it was worth every penny. Great instructor to student ratio. The location and training area are fantastic. The food was great. I loved the evening break between training and dinner/social time for shower, relaxing, and catching up with work or home. Just go do it. I'll be back.

Fantastic experience: Was looking for a big-bike offroad training experience that was a little more personalized than some of the bigger training outfits. Happened across Austin Moto Adventures on the BDR site and after speaking with their client liaison was sold. My buddy and I did the training weekend together and it was an amazing experience. Rosson, Rob and team were friendly, hospitable and most importantly, great experts and teachers. They have access to many areas across the ranch and the training environment was fantastic,with varied terrain and conditions. It definitely exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to future training / tours with Austin Moto Adventures.

Fantastic experience: Incredible experience. Rosson and his team are deeply passionate about adventure riding, which shows in every aspect of the training. The instructors are masters of their vehicles and great instructors. They have a mechanic on-site to help if you have issues with your bike. They cater food, provide snacks, and have cabins for rent if you wish. Not only will you leave with much better control over your motorcycle, but you'll also leave with lifelong memories and new friends. This was certainly the case for me.

Fantastic experience: Needed to get over my fear of dirt road riding and this place did so much more! Rob greeted me warmly on arrival...quickly got me set up in the cabin & introduced me around. Trev, Rosson, Rob all contributed to the in the field training lessons and made sure any questions were answered & demonstrated. Through every step of the process, they ensured we understood the assignment, demonstrated each section or skill and then coached us through it. I've come away with skills that I wasn't expecting to have and am looking forward to what they offer next!

Fantastic experience: Just got back from my training here. It was absolutely fantastic. I have been to two other training camps provided by others and Austin Moto Adventures is the best of them by a mile. What a memorable, FUN, and challenging program. Simply terrific- from trainers, to accommodations, to hearty meals on site… Everything was top notch!

Fantastic experience: I did the Ouray, CO tour in Sept 2023 and was blown away by the level of planning and service Austin Moto Adventures offer. EVERYTHING was handled! The rides were well planned and leaders were very experienced and very flexible--happy to make adjustments to stops and routes based on weather and how the day unfolded. And the little stuff--from airport pickups, to snacks, to even things like Advil and decongestants...this team thought of everything we might need! I'd also like to give a special shoutout to Mike--their mechanic and backup instructor! I brought my own bike and when a throttle cam broke leaving the bike to only idle, Mike immediately sprang into action making numerous phone calls from the road finally finding a shop in Kansas that was still open and could overnight what was needed! Mike had the replacement part installed the next afternoon, and all while keeping up with his "regular job"!! Fantastic commitment to service, and I saw this in every one of the the Austin Moto Adventures team!

Fantastic experience: I have ridden with a couple of the Austin Moto guys before, they are professional, considerate of rider skill levels and fun to be with. I would recommend any level rider to join the "tribe" and whether it's training or a tour, expect to be blown away by the experience. I'll be back with them either in late November or early December.

Fantastic experience: 10 STARS if I could! The team at #AustinMotoAdventures is at the top of the adventure game, the accommodations at Reveille Ranch are awesome and the camaraderie fostered among riders from beginner to expert is lifelong. They helped me get prepped for my ride to Alaska, and their tour in the Colorado mountains was EPIC! Proximity to Austin TX is also a big plus. I'll be back for more.

Fantastic experience: This school is exactly what we needed in the southern United States. Rosson and Trev and the rest of the team are fantastic. I rode with 5 other buddies on a motorcycle camping trip for 3 nights, and we visited the school and trained with Rosson for all day Saturday. Myself and 1 other rider were more experienced off road, and the other 4 had dual sports / adventure bikes but had never really gotten comfortable using them to their entire extent. By the end of the day, all of us had learned something new and everyone had dropped their bikes and became much better riders because of it. The leveled courses and the way they have the school set up is fantastic. The accommodations are also amazing and the area is beautiful. We will definitely be coming back. Even with 17 years of riding experience and seven years of dirt riding adventure bikes on BDR trails, I and everyone else learned a ton.

Fantastic experience: An 11 out of 10 experience. The training, the accommodations, the camaraderie and even the food were all excellent. I had never ridden in dirt/gravel before, and I sought out Austin Moto Adventures ahead of my Wyoming BDR trip this summer in order to get some training under my belt. I was fortunate enough to have been at their camp in early June of this year. I simply cannot recommend this experience enough. My level of confidence and my capabilities are now in a place where I am feeling really good about tackling the WYBDR and hopefully some more moderate to advanced BDR's down the road. Rosson and his entire team are world-class, and they are committed to you becoming a stronger, more experienced, and more confident adventure rider under their instruction. Fantastic experience: The team at Austin Moto Ventures has created a unique, world-class training facility in central Texas for building or improving motorcycle adventure-riding skills. The combination of excellent educational curriculum, skilled instructors, and top notch lodging and meals give students the ability to focus on their development goals without worrying about logistical details during their stay. Adventure riders from all over the central US should rejoice that there is a new training and touring service provider in the Lone Star State and come to AMV to establish or hone skills before setting off on a backcountry discovery route or international riding excursion.
