Fantastic experience: Great enduro course class! The instructors were very professional and friendly. The location is private and set up very well. They don't have bathrooms so be ready for that. I am a sport bike rider and haven't been on a dirt bike in many years. From the one single day class, I learned a lot about techniques and fundamentals of dirt bike riding. It was a great refresher and I learned new things I never knew I didn't know. I need to take the course again to reinforce and get more good instruction.

Fantastic experience: Edgar was very helpful and informative in his lessons. Recommend for anyone getting into riding dirt biking. Its one thing to watch youtube videos but having a professional tell you what you are doing wrong helps you improve much faster.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been riding dirt bikes since I was a young kid, but only recently bought an Adventure bike. SoCal Off-Road School taught me a lot of new tricks and reinforced some old habits I’d lost. The entire crew were super helpful, and even thought it was a group class, everyone received a lot of one-on-one time with the instructors. I highly recommend SoCal Off-Road School no matter your skill level. You can always learn something new! And, a few weeks later I’ve had the opportunity to take several long rides and felt super confident with my riding. And, if you’re really new to riding or riding in the dirt, don’t let this class intimidate you. We had such a wide range of experience in our class, and everyone learned a ton, and left feeling good about dirt riding!

Fantastic experience: I can't emphasize enough the clear and concise instruction from Dylan and Edgar during the classes. They are very patient and took the time to correct my form and by the end of the day, I was comfortable putting the practice to work on some fun trails by the end of class. I am looking forward to investing more on my riding by signing up for as many classes as I can.

Fantastic experience: This was such a great class! Edgar is a championship racer and a fantastic instructor. He offered a lot of insight into proper off road riding technique which is especially important when riding my heavyweight 1250 GS. By the end of the 6-hour class I was feeling much more confident AND having way more fun. I had so much fun that I'm signing up for another SoCal Off-Road School class and looking forward to taking it to the next level!

Fantastic experience: I recently attended Socal Off Road School, and I had an incredible experience! Our instructor, Dylan, was absolutely fantastic. I was a bit nervous since I had never ridden a dirt bike before, but Dylan's teaching made all the difference. He literally taught us everything we needed to know, from the very basics like starting, stopping, shifting gears, making turns, to how to stand up while riding. Dylan's patient and clear instructions made it easy to understand and practice. I even got to ride on the kids' track, and although the little kids were passing me, I still had an amazing time and felt super cool! If you're looking to learn how to ride a dirt bike, I highly recommend Socal Off Road School and especially Dylan as your instructor. It was a perfect learning experience, and I can't wait to go back!

Fantastic experience: Our family of 6 took a "day in the dirt" all inclusive lesson. It was outstanding. Only one of us had any motorcycle experience. The instructors(Edgar, Daniel, Brian) were great with the beginners. Everyone learned to ride on their own. We all had a great time, and, most importantly, no one got hurt. The children are eager to go riding again. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: My son and I did the day in the dirt with Edgar Cota and had the best time. They provided everything we needed for a full experience. My son is new to dirt bikes and Edgar explained very well how to operate and ride for a beginner. His coaching was clear and easy to understand. They are professionals and their expertise shows. It was a great way to try dirt bikes in a fun atmosphere. We will be back again and I highly recommend to anyone interested in exploring off road motorcycles.

Fantastic experience: Totally worth it. I got a lot of good info about my own riding style and how to improve it on a variety of terrain. Braking technique, body and foot position, skills for whoops and steep uphills, we covered a lot. I would go again.

Fantastic experience: Took my second off-road motorcycle class this past weekend with Daniel and Edgar training on my adventure bike and had a blast. Great location with great food and that wasn't even the best part. During the drills and skills evolutions I had a couple break-throughs with body position/weight transfer that will change my riding going forward. Thanks gents, Kasey

Fantastic experience: Daniel, Edgar, and the rest of his crew of professional racers have been great. I’ve taken several classes now and really improved my ability and confidence to ride out on the trails. Anyone looking for instruction from pros, this is a good place to get it.

Fantastic experience: Excellent training provided by Sedlak Offroad School. Daniel & Edgar are subject matter experts that can explain the how and why of the course material. They demonstrate technique and offer helpful, useful suggestions to improve riding performance. I have no doubt, everyone that took the course (March 24 Casa Grande) ended the day a better rider. The skills learned with SOS also carry over to street riding, making you a better multi dimensional rider. I look forward to training with them again.

Fantastic experience: Took the ADV bike off-road 1-day course they offered in Casa Grande, AZ (servicing Phx and Tucson area) and it was amazing. Daniel and Edgar were excellent instructors and clearly have the riding to back up everything they're teaching. I had a lot of fun and felt like it was a good value for the money I spent. Highly recommend for any people who have a big adventure bike and need some basic skills to help them ride off road or for experienced riders looking for some next-level instruction.

Fantastic experience: I've been riding street bikes for 45 years. Bought my first adventure bike last year with very little off road experience. I took this class and did the level 1 training. Edgar's instruction gave me the confidence to ride this beast through terrain I didn't think I'd ever do. Thanks Daniel and Edgar!

Fantastic experience: I had a great time and learned a lot about off-road riding. I've been riding motorcycles since 2009, mostly on the street. I was looking to expand into dual sport/adventure riding and I think this is a great place to start, especially when trying to establish the proper fundamental skills for basic to novice off-road riding.

Fantastic experience: TDLR: 5/5 Instructors, Course Design and Pacing. 4/5 Course Location & Environment. 5/5 Highly recommended Took the 3/09/2024 ADV Training course with Daniel and Edgar. Very friendly, experienced and patient instructors that observed each rider and gave tailored guidance. The course was designed very well. It begins with fundamental warm up drills and leads up to progressively more and more challenging trails that allowed each rider to apply course material in a structured manner. The training grounds are pretty cool with some sweet vantage points. The only minor gripe is that I wish the training location would be located a bit closer to anyone that’s coming from the greater Los Angeles area. Highly recommend Sedlak offroad to anyone looking to get into ADV riding.

Fantastic experience: This was what I really needed to really go off road with my ktm. Edgar and Sedlak are great instructors. The trail ride at the end of class was challenging, and I would have not made it without dumping my bike without first learning the basic skills that these guys taught me. Thanks Edgar and Sedlak, I really appriciate it.

Fantastic experience: My 13 yo son had the best time doing the Day in the Dirt session (twice in one weekend)! Dylan and Connor are awesome instructors. They are experienced and taught him the fundamentals and safety. He has ridden once before and otherwise only rides his e-bike locally and on trails (and he’s a teenager!) so safety was really important to me. I felt completely comfortable after meeting the instructors. He is hooked and we will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: As a novice off-road rider, I really appreciated the pace of the “beginner group” class (the instructors split the group up by skill level). The skills we learned at each stage scaled to the next stage very naturally, at no point did I feel overwhelmed. Sedlak School gave me an enormous confidence boost off-road and I learned a lot! *I also never felt patronized, the instructors are very kind and respectful to women riders!

Fantastic experience: I learned a ton while at Sedlak Offroad School. The coaches were great. Stopping you to correct form every time you fell out of it. I'm definitely more confident on my bike now, especially standing through turns.

They are extremely experienced competition winning riders and have a relaxed and patient way of explaining and demonstrating the skills they were teaching us. My confidence in riding my large and heavy Africa Twin in challenging terrain has increased dramatically. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Fantastic experience: Outstanding instructors and bike selection. My 14yr old wanted to learn to ride and I'm glad we chose Sedlak. We met at Fox Raceway and Sedlak had an area set up away from the main tracks. They start with the basics and build upon that, moving only as fast as the riders progress. The trail ride and mini track laps were a big hit. Thank you, Sedlak, I think we have a new rider in the family.

Fantastic experience: My son had a great time at the beginner dirt bike with SOS in Bismarck, ND. The guys took time to help all the kids whether it was with their technique, skills, or just helping them up when they crashed. We will be back next year after our first year of racing to get more training and enjoy the class with SOS again. 10/10

Fantastic experience: I recently transitioned from street motorcycle riding to Adventure motorcycle riding and needed to build good fundamentals. Sedlak Off-road School was the perfect choice for me. The school is taught by Daniel and Omar, two experts in the motorcycle off-road field. Their approach is down to earth and friendly. Daniel keeps an watchful eye during the drills and gives you feedback. One progresses through the day and subsequently build confidence while riding sand, gravel, single tracks, etc. I recommend this class to anyone who wants to improve or build a solid ADV foundation.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing day. I took my 12 year old son who had never ridden a motorcycle before and he had a blast. Edgar had him flying around the track in no time. Bikes and gear are all great. We were completely kitted out from head to toe (which is great when you are just getting in to the sport or just returning to it). Bikes were great too, powerful enough to have a great time but not too much to get you in to trouble. Edgar gave us lots of tip and tricks to make it super interesting and kept us progressing. Will definitely be going again!!

Fantastic experience: I am an experienced rider (not necessarily good). I was talking with another student before the class and they asked why I signed up for a class with as much experience I have. My answer was that experts and even not experts can give you pointers and tips to make you better. Our instructors were beyond experts and I learned lots of things I never new before. They showed us how to implement new technics which I felt added a whole another concept to my riding. I am over satisfied with what I learned and by the expertise that was given to us. That course was a lot of fun too! It was a great experience!

Fantastic experience: Great class. I haven't ridden dirt in years, and needed to brush up with my 600lb ADV bike! The curriculum is suited to newbies and more experienced riders alike. The staff are very informative in a relaxed, fun environment. Well worth doing a second time I think!

Fantastic experience: Sedlak's Offroad School was everything we were looking for, plus more! My son had been asking to do this for years, but I didn't know where to start. Once I found Daniel, I knew it was the right place. Not only does he answer all your questions, but is friendly and you can tell he loves what he does. When my son arrived to his "Day in the Dirt" everything was ready and organized and they started right away with learning all the fundamentals. By the end of the lesson, my son was off riding on the trails. He had so much fun and can't wait to schedule another day with Daniel. Both Daniel and Dylan were the best instructors. Fantastic experience: First class operation. My ten year old son and I had never been on dirt bikes before and we wanted a soup-to-nuts introduction. Daniel delivered in spades. Fantastic experience: My very first time off road on a motorcycle and these guys had me riding through sand in a few hours. Perfect pace for the class, and really helpfully informative all the way from start to finish. Be prepared for a work out!

Fantastic experience: As an off road trail rider for 5+ years, I have never received any instruction aside from riding with my buddies. Never quite sure about proper riding technique, body position, etc. My experience with the Sedlak Offroad School was excellent. Sedlak tears things down to the basics of proper body position, riding techniques and provides real-time feedback and instruction through out the day. Now when I go riding I will be able to apply, practice and improve. I would not hesitate to to sign up again!

Fantastic experience: Sign up and improve/enjoy your riding! My personal experience has been worth every penny. I clear jumps now; I ride safer; I ride faster; and I get less tired. Dylan has been my instructor. Whatever you choose, you will be glad you did it. I’ve taken three one-on-one lessons. And, I’m coming back for more in 30 days after I practice all the fundamentals Dylan taught me. I ride a 2022 YZ450F, I’m 52, and soon I hope to race my first race (with help from Sedlak Off-road School). Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Great Experience for my son (Sean-29) & myself (61) !!! Daniel is an exceptional communicator and his passion to make it 'a great experience' is his primary goal. My son & I both have busy schedules & live abt 75 miles apart. Daniel was patient & persistent to get us a date that worked. He also made a last minute concession. Sean's bike had to stay in the shop because of a fuel pump issue. Daniel supplied a great bike for Sean. Edgar was our instructor for the 1/2 day of training. He is also a great communicator, a top notch rider, and has a passion to teach. It's been 15+ yrs since our enduro riding days. Edgar worked hard to break our old habits and taught us fundamental techniques to make riding a bike much smoother controllable experience. Fantastic experience: The Sedlak Offroad School and my coach for the day Edgar Cota get my highest recommendation. Tons of great information and instructions. If I didn’t get something the first time, Edgar had multiple ways to explain until it clicked. I never felt overwhelmed or frustrated. I’m now planning on going back for more to keep building on each previous lesson.

Fantastic experience: This is a must for anyone with a motorcycle. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced rider, everyone can improve and Daniel and his team are the ones to do it. I went out on a 3 hour private session and it was awesome!! There were so many things I had no idea I was missing out on. If you ride a motorcycle, you need to at least do a session with them, it might just save your life!

Fantastic experience: My son and I did the Day in the Dirt today. Communication leading up was clear and concise. We arrived bikes and gear were waiting for us. After a quick into and discussion about individual experience and abilities we were off and riding. Coaching was steady but not overwhelming. They definitely make an effort to focus on individual abilities and quickly adapt to make the day fun, challenging but safe as the rider progresses. It's clear the enjoy what they do. We had a great day glad we went with SOS.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic experience! I signed my son up for a Day in the Dirt, he quickly went from never been on a dirt bike to riding around the practice track. His instructor, Dylan, was awesome! He got my son geared up, oriented him to the bike, and spent the vast majority of time getting him comfortable with riding. I highly recommend taking a class or tour with Sedlak Offroad School, whether a novice or an experienced rider, you will have a great time!

Fantastic experience: Traveled down to CA from Montana and my original plans for biking fell through. I looked up dirt bike training in california and Sedlak school was recommended. At a short notice their team got me in for one of their “Day in the Dirt” lessons. Dylan explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and taught me correct form and techniques I will use for the rest of my life. I will definitely be coming back for another lesson. Fantastic experience: Great experience. New enduro location is over private land near Tecate. Great drive onroute and you get to look over into Tecate Mexico on trails. Edgar was super helpful, slowly ramping up the difficulty and keeping it challenging through out the day. Highly recommended for experienced or new riders!

Fantastic experience: Until recently, it had been 20+ years since I'd ridden a bike on dirt - and back then it was flickable little pit bike. I took a private lesson with Edgar Cota (@ecota723) of @sedlakoffroadschool and not only got my bearings back on the dirt, but got confident handling my new #TigerExplorer on the types trails I would not have even considered taking it down without this experience - at least not anytime soon. My 2 cents: If you decide to get a bike, any bike, don't just spend the money on the gear, spend it on the proper training too - and for off-road training, @ecota723 and @sedlakoffroadschool are a great place to start.

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking to have a great time, and learn a lot, Sedlak is for you. My skill and confidence level was taken to new heights in only one day of instruction, which resulted in more fun and safety on the street immediately. Fantastic experience: This was a very positive experience. I came out of the class with greater confidence off-road and more knowledge than I expected. I would do it again and I highly recommend it even if you have riding experience. I have been street-riding for 9 years. The skills I need off road are different from the streets. The training took place in real trails that varied in difficulty and skill level. I am very impressed with the professional quality and real-world experience of the coach. Edgar Cota is amazing and showed genuine interest in my development. I’m glad I found this local motorcycle training school. Everyone in San Diego should give Sedlak Off-road School a call and sign up.

Fantastic experience: Great day out in the dirt! Our group of four were first timers ok dirt bikes with varying degrees of motorbike experience on the road. Edgar was a great teacher and gave us increasingly challenging things to do and learn. Low pressure and high on fun. Definitely recommend for anyone with any level of experience, with or without motorbike license!

Fantastic experience: Edgar was our instructor, he was the most encouraging and uplifting teacher. Very friendly and joyful. The bikes and gear was very clean and in good condition. I will be scheduling more classes soon.

Fantastic experience: My son had a great time learning the motocross fundamentals. Daniel and Edgar did an amazing job with the groups and getting everyone lots of riding and training . I would highly recommend this motocross school for anyone wanting to start out or even for experienced riders .

Fantastic experience: Daniel and Edgar are top notch. The time they spend with the riders is second to none. They interact all through out the training with each and every rider giving incite. It’s amazing how they remember all their names and riding styles. My son is a 65 rider. This is his second time with Sedlak and can’t wait to do it again. It is unbelievable how much progression there is two days of seat time. Excellent. Highly Recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience: Both Edgar and Daniel are patient with younger kids and give the chance to ride, yet correct when needed. The amount of riding(seat time) helps kids and adults to make the changes needed! Thank you for doing this. Can’t wait till next year!! Wish it was 2 times a year here!
