Fantastic experience: Just got in town from Germany and was met with service above and beyond! Popeye helped get me solid on downloading my bike and charging up from a battery that wouldn’t crank. Another gentleman helped educate me on clearing a code and I was on my way after a quick stop at the parts counter. If you need anything Harley in the area give them a shout. De Oppresso Liber!

Fantastic experience: Stopped by there this past Saturday to look at one of their new 2024 Heritages. I was actually helped by Thomas R in the parts dept. but he was nice enough to hold the front end for me while I was sitting on it. Sitting on the bike with my feet planted on the ground it felt really natural and I loved it however due to a hip issue I was unable to lift my right leg onto the floor board. He was able to relate to my ortho issue and offered up several possible solutions that could possibly help solve it. Unfortunately they did not have any seats in stock for the Heritage to try out. Again thank you Thomas!

Negative experience: 9-26-24 update My uncle purchased an oil filter and got the wrong one. Lives in Dixon. Called Danielle and informed her. Uncle went back, got charged $2.00, and $5.00 for paper funnels. He said the parts guy said “ma bad.” Some things never change I guess. 9-6-24 update Danielle (parts manager) called me yesterday and we spoke today. She was kind and assured me that they are addressing this and will be a focus moving forward. Thank you Danielle. 9-5-24 This review is for the parts department only, since the retail clothes and sales department are pretty cool and friendly. Every time I give the parts department another chance I get disappointed. Today, I took a battery back and got less than what Dan quoted me, which is ok since it’s a few dollars. Then I picked up a can of wax, which says 10.99, he charged more. I asked, why more and Dan said “it’s what it says in the computer.” But it says 10.99 on the can so it’s a mistake and he just repeated himself. I get that we all go through rough times and maybe Dan is having a bad day so I lifted him up to our lord Jesus Christ and prayed for breakthrough since he was pretty rude. At any rate, seems like they might need help in parts because no matter who is there, is always in a super bad mood. I’m thinking that department is probably overwhelmed and over worked. People spend way too much money in parts to be leaving there with a bad feeling and a sense that they got ripped off. Be clear with pricing, it is what it is and people will pay it. Just have some integrity. I’ve made the trip to Sacramento for parts just to avoid precisely what happened today. I hope there’s some changes made because you serve a pretty awesome community of people here in Vacaville who deserve much better treatment. Thank you and God bless.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place and staff/people. I walked in with my parents never expecting to walk out owning a bike. But they had just gotten in a 2003 Sportster XL1200C and I fell in love with the bike. Everyone there made it super easy and there was no pressure at all into seeing what we could make work. Kenny the sales guy that helped me was awesome. Looking forward to a continued relationship with Iron Steed and the people there and putting many miles on my first bike.

Fantastic experience: I have never been here however I'm from Kansas City and but I wanted to compliment your employee; I didn't get his name unfortunately but he drives a truck and trailer. Anyway I stopped at a gas station and left my wallet on top of my car and he pulled up and told us that something flew off. I was freaking out when we turned around to go get it and we pulled over and couldn't find it anywhere. Then we saw him pulling over behind us and he had grabbed it for me. Stopped in the middle of the freeway and got it. I can't even tell you how greatful I am and you have a great employee I'm only sorry I didn't get his name! But hope he remembers us it just happened 10 minutes ago 8/15 @ 9:30ish. thank you thank you thank you!

Negative experience: If you're taking your Harley-Davidson to a shop to get repairs I recommend finding one other than this shop after taking my bike there after an accident and being quoted a job of over 17,000 to bring him back to its former glory that never got completed time after time I found work that was quoted paid for but not done I was charged for new saddlebags but same new saddlebags were also then charge for refurbishment, why would you need to refurbish a new saddlebag makes no sense then the technician informs me that the amp and speakers they put into my bike aren't compatible with my bike and they knew this but they put it in anyways so then I had to wait for the proper system to get their proper system gets there they call me one time they say one whole time and and give up on doing the work

Fantastic experience: Bought my Softail Standard here and I've been back several times. Took the riding course. And I've had nothing but great service from a very friendly and helpful staff.

Positive experience: Took the class. Wonderful experience and wonderful instructor. Most of the staff was helpful. Only issue was with Dexter, he made an offhand joke about his wife to me just when my wife had walked away. Which made the situation really uncomfortable for me and made me not want to buy from him at the moment. Overall though I was happy with everything and the class.

Negative experience: ~~Avoid At All Costs~~ I was sold a bike from these guys that they didn't even legally own. It had been in their possession for a long time. I wasn't able to use it for 4+ months because of this. During that time, I had already paid my insurance, tags etc. I invested in parts I couldn't put on the bike because I didn't technically own it. After speaking with a former employee, he stated that he knew the exact bike I was talking about, and that they had the machine for a while and it wasn't the first time they did an end-of-month sale with it for numbers knowing they will get it back. No wonder the miles are so low for a 2020! They did several illegal things in this process including not cooperating with paying for an extension on the temp while they got my actual title. There is a time limit for this. Iron Steed gave no cares about the law or my family. As soon as they got whiff of a lawsuit, they finally communicated once and followed through with nothing discussed. They simply bought themselves time so they could sneakily, finally get the title proper. I was refunded nothing. Nothing for my time. Nothing for missed wages being unable to get to work the first week because of their scam. Nothing for paid insurance. The list goes on. I just randomly received the title in the mail one day with 0 communication (not even knowing it's coming yet!) The store itself is kept clean and the ladies in the inventory department, though not suuuuper knowledgeable, did everything they could to answer every question I had. Shout out to the Inventory department that helped with my special order gear for helmet, bluetooth, etc. All in all, I'd give it a 1* so that the people with proper morals still have a place to work and feed their families. But the management and ownership? Avoid these people like the -plague-. They may not scam every customer, but they WILL scam you if there is an opportunity to make money or boost their sales numbers.

Fantastic experience: Ally is super friendly ,helpful, and went above and beyond to find a certain helmet, that wasn't in stock. Popeye is also a great guy to order parts from. Everyone there is exceptionally friendly.

Fantastic experience: Iron Steed HARLEY is an awesome place to shop for your next ride. The Service department really stepped up to satisfy all my requests. Negative experience: Do not buy 2023 Harley anniversary edition worst decision i ever made spent 40k feel like robbed breakdown in first ride $400 towing bill call dealership 3 time at service no reply from 2 answer is we are very busy and don’t know when we can schedule in Finley towed to Folsom Harley waiting to see what’s wrong

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure to take my motorcycle riding course classes with this dealership under the instructor Andrew Gawer, he made this class so educational and fun to do. It is a great feeling to know I will forever be safer on the road due to this man. I can tell this is not only a job for him and he really cares about all of us. He became not only my teacher but a man me and my family will forever be grateful for. The roads will forever dangerous for riders but he taught me to be as safe as possibly could be, I’m now confident on the roads with 2 wheels. I will always point my fellow new riders to this dealership and to Andrew!

Fantastic experience: I took my stock 2008 road glide to iron steed, and when I got it back, it was a totally different bike. I had them install cams and new push rods and I can tell the difference. forever got my business.

Negative experience: Service department is terrible. My 2022 bike has milky oil and they want me to pay 300$ to get it diagnosed. Milky oil on a brand new bike covered under warranty. Unreal

Positive experience: Friendly staff. We weren't looking for a new bike, just checking out women's clothing. Which was very very disappointing . For a large, off a main freeway HD shop, the selection was minimal to say the least. The men's choices were much larger. Bummer for us lady riders.

Fantastic experience: What a great buying experience. Worked with Vagon, CJ, and Josh to pickup a Sportster for my wife. Looked at and test road the bike. Since it was the first Harley I ever bought, I need time to research and learn about the bike. Vagon was very patient and at no time was I rushed into a buying decision by any of the staff. CJ worked with me on a fair price and made the financial part very easy. Josh wrapped it up with the final paperwork. The whole team worked really well together and it looked like they really enjoy what they do. The entire vibe of the place is really laidback and friendly.

Saw Iron Steed had the one I wanted contacted them and they agreed to sell it at MSRP. Went in to talk to them about trike and within two hours was out the door with new trike. Negative experience: directly lies to customers In regards to their special order policy. I would love for management to contact me and let me know why they cannot fulfill special order Parts on the phone. No employee complies to the state mandated mask usage. Which is probably the reason why I had to wait 30 minutes on the phone just to be told 1. They were short staffed 2. I was told that they could not special order a part over the phone. So I ordered it over the phone with another HD dealer in 2mins and 31 seconds. They were happy to take my money

They all joined in on my joy even before they knew that I was purchasing from them. Many employees talked with me about their experiences as new riders and made me feel part of something. They asked smart and in-depth questions and then led me to a bike that I ended up buying. They were spot-on and it has not been anything but pure perfection and it’s everything they said and more. I would recommend them to new and experienced riders unequivocally.

Negative experience: The motorcycle training school is good, Went to buy a Harley sportster had a deal worked out needed time to think about it. I went back two weeks later to buy the same bike, And was told due to their inventory they couldn't give me the same deal... I thought car salesman's were bad Just makes me not want to go back there to buy anything I'll go to Concord, Sacramento or Oakland. I just didn't have a good experience. Just my opinion... I normally don't take time out of my day to write a review. But after today Trying to buy a Harley Davidson for the 1st time Kinda sucked. I felt like my business did not matter.

Fantastic experience: Badass crew here at Iron Steed. Been shopping here for a while for parts and gear but just bought a brand new bike from them today. They made it so incredibly easy. The bike I wanted was rare, they only found 5 in the state. They set up for it to be shipped here to their dealership so I can pick it up right here without driving hundreds of miles to find one. Then to top it off they gave us a bottle of wine and a thank you gift for buying from them. Great team, super helpful, they found a rare bike for me in under a half an hour, and I did paperwork and left happy.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Iron Steed Harley was outstanding, I purchased a used BMW and couldn’t be more satisfied with the deal made. Teddy Bear went the extra mile to make sure I was indeed satisfied with my purchase. After I left the dealer I took the bike home, I also have a Electra Glide and was moving it out of the way in my garage so I could put the BMW in. When I went to put the Harley back in I forgot to put the kick stand down, needless to say the bike went down and was too heavy for me to upright it. I called Bear, he and another member of his team came to my house and raised the bike up, now that’s going above and beyond!!!

Fantastic experience: Awesome place to buy a motorcycle Brian aka teddy bear is the man to see he not only stayed late and helped me get the bike I have wanted for awhile he even checked on me to make sure my girlfriend and myself made it home after we finished as we had almost a 2 hour ride ahead of us now that’s service will definitely be back in the future. And for service go see Jeremy he took care of my girlfriends bike after multiple complications with the bike when she first purchased it.

Fantastic experience: Teddy, Alan, and Bryan are 3 top notch guys. Great conversations, no aggressive selling tactics, and no bantering over price. They treated my wife and I (even our dog) like we have been knowing one another for years! I’ve never had an easier experience buying a motorcycle before and this is my 4th bike but my 1st Harley. Fantastic experience: TEDDY BEAR! If you go to Iron steed, ask for Teddy Bear! My husband and I were on our way out the door and here comes teddy bear runnin out to us to make a deal...which we did. Ended up leaving with a 2020 Street Bob thanks to this guy. Overall the whole crew was welcoming, very chill and down to earth. But, if you're looking for the best, ask for Teddy Bear, he will get you dialed in.

Came into the dealership, was welcomed by everyone and if you need any help, let us know. A 2012 Street Glide caught our eye and after a bit, inquired about it, spoke to Josh, Austin, and Sean Teddy Bear, thought about what could be done to trade in my 2013 Electra, that was recently purchased, for the Street Glide that had all the details I had wanted to do to the Electra, already done. Walked back in and spoke with Shawn, worked out a deal for the trade by looking at a picture. Came to a deal that couldn't be passed up. Bryan was great in dealing the final paper work. Linda was wonderful explaining the reward program. Everyone we came in contact at Iron Steed were very friendly, Amy at the register, TJ in parts. Omar who delivered the bike and took the trade back. Yes, free delivery of the motorcycle. Outstanding customer service, great job everyone. Will be recommending Iron Steed!”

Fantastic experience: My Harley shop of choice for HD genuine parts, they never seem to have what I need in stock but always are helpful and get it quickly. That being said I usually come if for rather obscure parts that most shop wouldn't stock. Great folks to help you in your Harley. I've only been in to the parts department at Iron Steed, never had them work on my bike or bought a bike from them.

Have you ever walked into a Harley Davidson dealer, or any store for that matter, and their greeting, their style and the overall vibe, just makes you feel at home. You know what I mean, you feel genuinely welcomed, valued, important and not just because you have a wallet but because you’re surrounded by people who really love what they’re doing. I’m talking “real” motorcycle people, you know the kind you wave to because they “get it”. I have a new Harley Davidson dealership, it’s by far not the closest to me, it’s not the biggest, it doesn’t have the largest inventory, but they have the people you want to be around. I have a new home in Iron Steed. In working a rental and tour business I have purchased and owned several Harley Davidson motorcycles, along with countless others. I have worked with several dealers and private parties. In the end, what do you really want from a dealership? I know what I want. I want to feel welcomed, I want knowledge, I want value, I want a good atmosphere and I want trust and honesty. Well I got all of this and more plus a ton of new friends, and what’s better than to hang out and talk bikes with new friends. Isn’t that what it’s all about?!? Trust me when I tell you, if you live anywhere around the Bay Area, hell anywhere in CA make the trip out to Iron Steed and experience what an exceptional dealership brings to you. Then you, like me, will have found a new home. From the moment I met Gunner and his friendly laid back approach, answered all my questions, offering knowledge and other information. Almost more interested in fulfilling my needs and interested in what I was looking for, instead of the pressure of the “immediate sale”. I have the privilege of having a girl, who is my finance and closer, she knows so much about bikes it would put a smile on the most discerning faces. She talked with Josh and he answered all her questions, negotiated the deal and had even her sold her on the dealership, not just the bike. Believe me that says a lot. When we came to pick up the bike, I knew there were some upgrades I wanted installed on the bike before we took it. I talked with Derrick in parts and Lou in service (very knowledgeable) and got everything squared away and they took the bike in back. Now let’s talk about honesty. Most of the upgrades I wanted were already done to the bike and instead of just putting it back together, charging me and sending me on my way. Which I wouldn’t have been any the wiser, they let me know the good news. To me, that says a lot about their integrity there. When we met with Bryan to close the financial part, we already had financing set through our credit union but he was incredible at answering all the questions and reworking their financing and we actually ended up with a better deal through them. Now to top this whole experience off, are two wonderfully delightful associates in the apparel department Jessica and Linda. How many times have you been in a place and heard; “Can I help you find anything?” (in this day and age, only if you’re lucky) Thus your, or at least my, typical response is; “just lookin”. Then when you actually have a question there is no one to be found, or they are busy on there cell phone, or talking to another employee, just reinforcing that false desire to help and that “the art of real customer service is dead”. Well not here, and not with these girls they really do have a desire to help you out. They make you feel welcomed and right at home and it’s genuine. Knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, they had us smiling and laughing in no time, like an old reunited friendship. SUMMARY: Iron Steed Harley Davidson in Vacaville California is a top of the line dealership, and you should make a point to visit. You won’t leave just impressed, but you’ll leave with a ton of new friends you can count on. A full hearted sincere thank you to all we had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with!

Fantastic experience: This is my third NEW bike purchase (in ten years) from Iron Steed. Gunner did a pretty good job. He's fairly new and will be a great salesman with time. Todd knows his job and his business! Brian was honest and forthright and Aubree,,,, she's awesome! She was the final word on how well they took care of a third time returning customer. Fantastic experience: We just purchased a 2018 Fat Bob from Jim and the Iron Steed team last week. I have to say, I am very impressed. My husband Eric was in and out of the dealership at least 5 times over a two week period. He was encouraged to test ride several bikes to narrow down his choices and once he had narrowed it down to the Fat Bob, he took that particular bike (the one we ended up buying) three times! We never received anything but support from Jim and the team. My husband Eric is quite particular and Jim made it clear that he wanted Eric to be happy and didn't mind taking him on repeat test rides. Dave in parts was amazing too. He talked about what it would cost if we needed to change to mid controls, he let us try out different windshield heights, he talked with us about two-up seat options and more! We feel we were given time, attention, compassion and a fair price for both the bike and for our trade-in and NEVER felt pressured to buy. The day of the purchase was equally impressive. Jason helped us to effortlessly navigate the payment and trade-in process, Brian in finance told us about all of the opportunities for service packages etc... but were NOT pressured to buy them. We were taken on an owners tour where we got to meet everyone in the shop, we got to ring a giant bell of celebration and were warmly told Congratulations! by everyone we met! I can honestly say we left feeling like part of the family! Oh! One more thing! We came back into the shop a few days later to ask another parts-related question and we were just as warmly received by everyone as when we were looking to purchase!
