Negative experience: Good service and all it just one thing that’s really bother me. I bought two motorcycles this year, and the season has ended and motorcycles is stored and I’m still waiting for a call to come pick up my Harley t-shirts!!! This just ridiculous, should’ve received at least one, but nooo. Nothing.

Negative experience: These people have my motorcycle for repair and told me I'll get to it when I get to it for a rotor and a stator replacement. He told me that the job will take like 5 hours a he needs the right tech to make sure the job is do correctly.and actually told me I'll get to it when I get to it? Not giving me a date, imagine that they have had my bike for 3 weeks and have it to this very day

Negative experience: I recently had a service done. I was not impressed at all. I spent big money to boot. I feel that the service department provides vauge information as to services preformed. When I got my bike back it was dirty with fingerprints on the primary and oil dripage. I felt short changed in the past as far as the service department. People in parts and sales are good. I am not likely to return for service. They lack detail and explaination of which, when you pay big money, it is deserved. Very disappointing....

Negative experience: My father is dying of ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease) We had an agreement they said they would come pick up the motorcycle give us the check no problem etc. THEN things went from good to bad. They gave me the run around for 2 weeks calls no call backs then an email oh we can't pick the bike anymore. If this is how Illinois Harley treats the families of dying people. I can't imagine how they screw over people trying to buy a motorcycle. Good luck.

Negative experience: Finance department there are total scumbags I was trying to finance a used Bike with $1000 down. my credit score is fair I was financing around $9000 guy comes back with six year $262 payment Which comes out to about 100% financing Over $18,000 after the fact I guess he thought I was stupid stay away The only positive. Was the sales person JD was pretty cool.

Fantastic experience: I cant say enough good things. Another dealer gave me a ridiculous out the door price on a new 2024 CVO ST. I decided to check out Illinois HD, and they gave me an amazing deal from jump street. No back and forth, no games....just a great deal right up front. JD(sales) is extremely easy to work with and he works to get you the deal that you are happy with. Odie in parts is great as always. TJ in finance worked to get me an interest rate that I was happy with. From start to finish, it was a quick and painless process. They have a customer for life now.

Negative experience: Stopped by this Dealership last evening to buy a part for my Dyna, first time there. Let me first prefice this with a positive comment... The place looks nice and the parts lady was nice, and helpful. However, when we first walked in... there were 3 "salesmen" visible, no one welcomed us, acknowledged us, or asked if we needed any help. On the way out, all three were leaning back in their chairs... at their respective desks... and on their cell phones (not on calls). Again... no one... acknowledged us, thanked us for coming in, or even looked up as we walked by. NOT a good look...! From a customer service point of view... I was not impressed.

Fantastic experience: First off, I'm going to start by saying that I purchased my first "real" Harley from these guys on Friday, Feb 23 2024. I could not have asked for a better buying experience. My friends all know my vehement hatred of ALL dealerships, whether it cars, bikes, watercraft, etc. I despise dealerships more than any other place on the planet (even more than the Dentist/Doctors office). This place broke every bad stereotype I have about dealerships. First off, there was no one waiting at the door like a vulture when you walk in. Second, they only showed me the Dyna I was interested in and never tried to upsell me on something else. Third and final, there was no pressure to buy and when I finally did throw down on the bike, TJ and Jerry were both great to work with. I want to make a special note of my particular salesman though, Ray. Ray totally broke the norms of the typical Harley rider. He's a fellow goofball nerd like myself and I immediately felt right at home dealing with him. I could sit and chat with the guy for hours honestly, even if I hadn't have happened to buy a bike. Ray did a fantastic job of keeping in touch with me while the bike was getting its post purchase service/check done, answered every question I had about the bike and Harley as a brand in general, and made this honestly the best dealership experience I think I've had, PERIOD. I genuinely hope he sticks around here and they keep him for a long time as I work right down the street at Kara and if I decide I want to upgrade to something else in a few years, I'd love nothing more than my sale to go with him. Ray is the man an Illinois Harley Davidson absolutely rocks

My bike needed to be tuned and Pat took great care to explain the details and make the process as smooth as possible. Fantastic experience: This past Saturday, my boss (wife) was celebrating her birthday and for the last few months, I have been putting money aside to purchase her a new Harley. It's been her dream, for quite some time, to own one and we were finally in a position where I could make that dream a reality. She has very specific taste and the bike (Street Bob) she wanted wasn't available at many Harley dealers. Luckily, I was able to find a few options at Illinois Harley. When we first arrived at Illinois Harley, we were greeted by Ray, who ended up being the gentleman who sold us the bike. He was absolutely wonderful to work with. Not only did he greet us with a smile, but he also took time to go over every Street Bob in the building. She had her set on one which just so happened to be one of the most expensive (just my luck). Instead of pushing the sale when he found this out, he still took time to go over every other bike, even the less expensive ones, to make sure she is getting the right one for her. Of course, me being the guy I am, I made it a point to ask questions about the price, financing options and anything else I could to try and get the best deal. He took it in stride and never once let me get under his skin or fluster him. He introduced me to the GM Jason, and he and I hit it off right away. Being that it was a used bike, he had the guys take the bike in the back to see if he can get it upgraded from a pre-owned bike to a certified pre-owned bike. Which in turn would save me a few points on the financing. After a few minutes, the upgrade was complete. Talk about going the extra mile to ensure the client is taken care of. TJ in finance was the next guy I met, talk about a straight shooter. Direct, honest and didn't try to sell me any unnecessary add-ons to "up the deal". In all honesty, this is by far the best buying experience I have ever had for any form of vehicle. I also want to take a second to thank all the other associates we met along the way who made this birthday for my wife memorable. Alyssa and Tori in the clothing department. Josh, Cam, Robert from the service department. All the techs who took time to make my wife's bike perfect for delivery. You guys often go unnoticed, but your hard work is definitely second to none. If I am missing anyone, I apologize but I truly want to thank you all for making this experience perfect.

Fantastic experience: What can I say? Huge shout out to JD and Jeremy for making my latest purchase come true. I picked up a new 2023 Fatboy the other day and I have to admit, I didn't think I was going to be able to get it. Jeremy worked the numbers with me while JD kept me calm and cool. That's the attitude he had with me the moment I sat down and spoke with him. It's no exaggeration when I say these guys worked a miracle and I was able to get the bike within the range I was looking for. Negative experience: Can someone tell me what is going on with these dealerships? Heritage harley went under, so im shopping for a new serice center. I stop by wildfire yesterday (07-14-23) and not one single sales person asked to help me. Walked around the entire store twice. I got to Illinois harley today and the exact same thing. One guy sitting at his desk playing on his cell phone did speak but that was it. I'm 6/4 and 250 pounds. I'm not hard to miss at all. I will not even try a3rd store I'll just stay home.

From the beginning, Joe, the service manager, called and asked me where the paperwork that I had dropped off 3 days earlier was. I resent the paperwork and assured me Illinois HD would handle everything from there. I was patient with supply chain issues. Joe called me several months later to ask where the insurance payment was. I had to track down the payment even though the insurance agent said this was something the dealership should have taken care of. After having the bike delivered, I noticed that several parts were never replaced, but my insurance was charged, and one part that wasn't damaged was not put back on. Then, after trying to charge the battery with no luck, I removed the seat to find that the battery wasn't reinstalled! Joe assured the parts would be ordered, installed, and my battery would be located. Fast forward 6 weeks, I called to find out what was going on. Joe stated, "Oh, the windshield has been here for a few weeks now, but I just forgot to call you, and the part that we threw out is no longer available.". While Illinois HD ultimately fixed the problem, if they had paid attention to detail and communicated, these issues could have 100% been avoided. Picked up the bike this past weekend, and there was STILL a part not installed. It sucks because Illinois HD is the closest HD to my house, but I will not buy another bike from this HD group.

Fantastic experience: Everyone there was wonderful, JD, our Salesman was awesome, patient, honest, and knowledge. Everyone, from the service guys to the finance guys were great. Everyone there was so easy to work with, and there was Zero pressure or “used car salesman” BS. I’d recommend them all. Fantastic experience: Illinois Harley-Davidson is awesome! Appreciate their help so much. On a road trip returning home from the Windy 9 in Ohio. My clutch cable broke going through Chicago. Negative experience: I bought my 2016 RG from Illinois Harley, I paid it off almost a year early, Harley Davidson Financial told me to contact the Dealer where I bought the bike from to get a refund of my unused GAP insurance, I've call their finance & was told he had to look into it & he would call me back, no call back, I called again a week later & same thing, then I left a couple msgs for finance to call me back about the GAP refund no call back still months later, then I left a msg about financing a new purchase & wouldnt u know it I got a call back in 10 min. Harley is quick to take ur money, sell u over priced shirts & parts even bikes for that matter & ignore you when they have to give u money u actually have coming. They'll telk you anything to sell you a bike & close the deal, after that they dont care about you anymore.

Positive experience: Do not bring your motorcycle here. I shared the bolts off my pulley my rear wheel so I ordered a new wheel new sprocket new bearings and hardware, for starters it took two weeks to get my wheel. And nobody called me when they had it. I just showed up and they happen to have it. Still waiting on the bearings 3 and 1/2 Weeks. So Saturday morning I dropped off the old wheel to have the tire taken off and put on the new rim, guy said my tire was 12 years old so I purchased a brand new tire brand new tube, we took it to parts and they said they would put the tire on. Sunday afternoon I come in to see if the tire was put on and my parts are sitting on the floor haven't been moved since Saturday morning aren't putting a secure location they're just sitting there by the door. $1,300 were to parts, needless to say I was not happy about that but I decided to stay cool not say nothing and wait. Monday no phone call. Tuesday morning I decide to go in and see what's going on my parts are still sitting in the same spot. The guy at service understood I was upset he said he would get somebody right on it. This is at 11:00 in the morning at 4:00 I show up it takes him forever to bring the tire out and when they do the tube is squeezing through the tire in between the rim it's improperly installed. Then I have to argue with the guy about putting a brand new tube in it. Service is ridiculous laziest dudes I've ever seen in my life. Worry about fixing stuff and doing your jobs not getting dressed to look like you're going bar hopping on Friday night.

Negative experience: Buyers beware!!! These people will try and rob you blind!!!! If you’re looking to purchase a motorcycle, I strongly suggest going somewhere else. They tried selling a bike listed at $11k online for $17k. They try to sell you on payment and absolutely screw you in the details. Don’t walk, run away!!!

Negative experience: I bought a fat bob here. It is my first bike. I had no idea what I wanted and JD helped find the right bike for me. I had some questions about the bike and service was very helpful to make sure everything is good. They stand by the bikes they sell. EDIT: my dad took his bike in for service and it has been an absolute nightmare so far. I’m hoping they are able to come to a resolution but would definitely use caution with their service department if you didn’t buy a bike from them they don’t seem to take care of you. I will update my rating and review after we see how they handle everything.

Fantastic experience: Wow...I really can't express my gratitude and appreciation for this location enough, but I'll try the best i can! They're absolutely amazing. I had an accident on the highway that shredded several wires, killing my motorcycle. I managed to arrive at the location not knowing what to expect! I was welcomed and helped without pause and with genuine concern for the situation I was in. They were able to help me get back on my ride and back on the road. I can't thank you guys enough. Negative experience: Not a bad place to have your ride stored but good luck getting it back in a timely manner and like you want. Try to have it picked up a few weeks ago but message never got received by service department. Then schedule to pick it with a two week heads up and they got the wrong ride sent to them. Now waiting for them to deliver it to my place. Never having it stored with them again

Negative experience: Brothers Beware, Illinois harleys service department is desperate for customers and is now lying and doing things that are underhanded. I gave them my bike to replace the fuel pump. After a couple of days they called me back and told me it would be expensive to repair and I then called several other dealers to find the IHD was charging me a 3rd more than the other dealers in and out of the area and they never told me the parts are back ordered until August. Th r y were going to put my bike in the corner until then, ol stools tactics now that they had the bike. I requested they bring it back on the next agreed upon day only to discover it was still sitting in their shop after service manager JW told me it was on its way. I then had to chase down store manager Tim Farrow whom concocted a story blaming Harley, such a lie as Harley is back ordered on a lot of parts right now..I understand but don't lie. I got my bike back and will do it myself. ADVICE; No more trust in gentleman's agreements and get dates and cost in writing before you agree to service otherwise you get more ol skool service, 'Uh buddy we found some more issues while we had your motorcycle open. Good luck there. I see why the Japanese motorcycles are gaining/surpassing.

Fantastic experience: Had my bike inspected here and new tires installed, the plus I had was I got my bike back within 2 days. Had a small issue and Joe from harley reached out to me personally which I never saw coming. The company showed me that it has pride in satisfactory with there customers. Hands down after the phone call to me I will return and I will recommend this countryside location to all my friends and family.... ride safe!!!!!!!

Negative experience: I couldn't give them more than 5 but they are 5+. Brent the salesman was so good and share lots of information with me about the bike I bought. Thank you guys, thank you Brent. Update : 04/19/22 after this long haven't received the registration till today. I called two weeks ago and been told that I will get it in 10 business days, but no luck so far so I decided to call again. On my call answered by lady that process the ppwk , she start yelling at me! She calmed down and she said,:"SORRY BUT I DIDN'T CHOOSE TO CIME FROM INDIANA AND BUY THE BIKE FROM OUT OF STATE, YOU DID! This is the proper way to speak with a customer! BTW I'm paying the bike to have it in my garage, because I can't ride it in indiana.

Positive experience: Found what I was looking for spent $265 and when I asked for a small gift bag was told they no longer provide gift bags, tissue or boxes. So disappointing when you could get your gift and wrapping all in one place… guess everyone is making cuts but if I find another Harley Shop that provides small bags I’m going out of my way to give them my business!!!
