I came in earlier in the week and they were so nice and helpful, answering all my questions and then welcomed me back with my husband Saturday to finish our purchase. Dillyn was especially helpful, walking us through every step of the purchase and test drive.

Fantastic experience: I went to see the Evel Knievel Museum and was pleasantly surprised that the location was a 75 year Harley location with its own free museum. The location is clean and well lit. Staff was friendly. I enjoyed the Topeka history of 75 years or Harley and all the amazing artifacts. It’s a super nice collection. There is also a Evel Knievel Museum attached to the building in Topeka Kansas FYI - I understand it will be moving to Las Vegas soon. Growing up in the 60s and 70s I enjoyed Evel on Wide World of Sports. The jumps were amazing fraught with danger and excitement. Many years ago I was in Las Vegas and visited Caesar’s Palace and the Concierge showed me where the jump was made and gave me a hologram card. Current buildings set where the fountain was. I also visited the Snake River site in the 1980s. The tour through this museum is certainly a time warp. Clean, well lit inside and out. Nice staff. The displays were educational through various mediums. The artifacts bridged several decades and were placed in chronological order. Motor Cycles, Collectibles, Pictures, Film , Clothing Worn, Snake River Collection , Tour Bus - and much more. Fun stuff

Fantastic experience: Update: I did return and found the perfect bike for me. The guys were all very helpful and there was no pressure in buying or suggestions of something different from what I was looking to get. So on the sales side of this place, I had to add a star and give this place one of my very rare 5-star ratings. Schedule a test ride and let these guys set you up for the best ride. Original post: I was presently surprised by the atmosphere and the selection of actual motorcycles and not ATVs, mowers, or watercraft. The prices of the bikes I'm interested in purchasing are set fairly reasonable for today's market. Will return in the future to possibly make a purchase.

Fantastic experience: By far the best service experience I've had at ANY dealership or mechanic's shop! The Service Advisor was friendly and the tech had great attention to detail (I noticed they even fixed a few small things I didn't mention when I dropped the bike off.) Seriously, I'll be back.

Fantastic experience: I have been interested in purchasing a 2nd Harley for last several years. I have used the internet, visited out of town Harley-Davidson dealers and of course the Historical Harley-Davidson store in Topeka. Last week some friends and I went in to the Dealership on 21st and Topeka Blvd, to purchase clothing with Historic Harley-Davidson of Topeka emblems. While there I did my usual tour of available bikes for sale. Surprisingly, I found a Road Glide that screamed let's ride. Well the next couple of hours went rather quickly. The knowledgeable men and women answered all my questions concerning all my purchases. That evening I hit the street with my new motorcycle ready to hit the highways as my heart leads. I have always enjoyed my shopping at this local Harley-Davidson dealership. From when they were located just on 6th street, to their current location on 21st street. I am now looking forward to their new facility as they once again look towards providing a new and greater shopping experience for future riding enthusiasts.

I asked for the price out the door and it was provided immediately without all the back and forth game that the other Harley Dealers like to play. Small inexpensive items I needed added were thrown in with the deal and they delivered the Trike way out here in Western Ks where I live. The delivery guy spent quite a while going over the controls and buttons as a lot had changed from my old 2017 Triglide. Fantastic experience: I was riding my 2022 Pan America from North Carolina to Vegas and back. On my way home going over Denver I got a check engine light and error code. I rode for another hundred miles or so without any issues but the light and error code were still there. I called the closest Harley to my hotel for that night and was told That Danny was the Pan-American technician and to bring my bike in, to talk to him. When I got there, Danny took care of everything, he was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. The whole staff was very courteous and kind. I wish I had more time to hang out and have lunch at their in-house restaurant or explore the Harley village more but I had 600 miles to ride that day. I will definitely be back to Putz around at some point.

Fantastic experience: Cudos to Kayla and Jake my tech. Dropped off my Street Glide for an oil change and an air ride diagnostic/repair. Not only was I not billed for my air ride repair (told it only took 3 minutes), but my tech not only arranged the birds nest wires under my seat (I installed led lighting kit), he also properly mounted the panel atop my battery that I could never get right (sure many of you bagger riders can relate). Thank you so much Historic Harley. In closing I must share this. At my previous hometown HD dealer where for over 20 years I had purchased several bikes I never received the outstanding service I have experienced with Kayla here at Historic HD.

Negative experience: Took ten months to get a GAP refund. Brooke promised me several times that it was on the way. Five months of waiting, I called to find that she was gone and replaced by Dylan. He promised it would be done in a week. Despite calling every two weeks, it still took another five months because Dylan kept forgetting about it. When the check finally arrived, it was half what Brooke quoted. I asked Dylan to check into it, but he again forgot and just mailed the check to me. Between them and the sales manager, Eli, I'm glad I don't live in Topeka anymore. The museum and merchandise department add the extra star, other than that, forget it.

Fantastic experience: These people know how to treat a customer from out of town, they took my trike right in and fixed it and had me on my way in no time.

Negative experience: We drove from Texas to Minnesota and went out of our way to get to this store $20 in toll fees. We wanted a shirt and he found one and the lady said they weren't for sale yet because they weren't in inventory yet. Then she started to play with her phone. We walked around the museum and looked at all the bikes and came back. She was still playing on her phone and the shirts were still on the counter behind her. We were the only clothing customers the whole time we were there.

Positive experience: It's a great place to visit a lot of history in a Lil space appreciate the authenticity no replicas a lot of great stuff paid extra for the jump it wasn't bad wish it had been first person but was worth the extra $5

Positive experience: Get in there before the Evel Knievel exhibit moves to Vegas! Information, collection of memorabilia, and lay-out kept me there for hours. The virtual reality jump was overhyped though: automatic and short-lived.

Fantastic experience: The best group of people at a dealership I have ever met. I knew what bike I wanted, they never tried to pressure me into a higher sale. Had a hiccup with the bike when almost home. They came and picked it up within an hour or two, took it back fixed it and returned it the next day. Historic Harley-Davidson took care of me like family. I will never go to any other dealership.

Negative experience: We went April 16, 2022 to purchase a jacket and ask a few questions. Within minutes of being there was totally disrespected. I told a few of my friends that love this place what happened. Apparently you need to be careful of which staff you ask for help. The only person anyone agreed on was some parts guys. Hope you have a better experience.
