Fantastic experience: When you walk down the isle of starry skies filled with glistening chrome and color… You think to yourself not sure to upgrade due to the one screaming at you is a little to upright in the rake…, different style than mine, it’s pretty but just not sure … well Troy is the rider to give you that confidence. Not just for a sale but for personal customer experience. This guy knows his bikes, knows his customer market and sought out the needs and requirements I had to pair me with the right ride. Which was the one screaming “pick me, pick me”. A test ride to make sure the handling was right. I didn’t feel constraint or limited when I headed out. Took my time and did some maneuvers taught in the HD women’s class. Let me tell ya. All the questions went away with every turn. Chris gave me the security I needed to know when I head out next season she’ll be all measured up to fit me and my style in harmony. All good mojo here and more to come. And Adam. What a saint. Then jump ahead to 2019 and it's now time to find a bike for myself. Troy Berean to the rescue! This guy had no idea just how picky I can be but he found the bike for me. Troy was absolutely amazing with the whole process and also understood this was my first bike as I had just completed my cycle endorsement there at Hot Rod. Fantastic experience: The dealership is excellent, and the salesman Troy Berean was perfect. Got me the motorcycle I wanted, made sure I was good to go, and still continues to communicate with me. He is more than a salesman, but someone who cares about people. They all do things for veterans, too.

Fantastic experience: Great experience buying a bike with these guys. Troy in particular went well above and beyond. I came into the experience with very little knowledge about Harleys and he not only explained the differences in models, but asked questions regarding my riding style and then described the nuances of each model and what they meant to real world riding. If you are looking for a bike, these guys are excellent to deal with. There was no pressure at all, they just want to get you the right bike. I won’t go anywhere else.

My wife and I bought a CVO trike sight unseen because we loved the bike but more because just after a few short texts with Troy, we felt certain that he and HRHD wouldn’t steer us wrong! Fantastic experience: These guys are absolutely awesome!!! I could not be more impressed by the kindness, knowledge, to outright fun every time I visit. If this is what it's like to be part of the Harley-Davidson Community well I'm definitely getting a bike and signing up! I just finished the driver's safety class with instructors Adam and Eric. Had an absolute hoot learning how to ride a motorcycle. Instructors take safety extremely seriously while creating an environment of fun and packing your head with more information and your body with more experience and training than I ever thought possible during a 3-day course. I recommend taking this course for anybody that does not feel comfortable on a bike or has little to no experience riding a motorcycle.

Fantastic experience: Awesome Harley Davidson dealership. Was out exploring Michigan on a road trip and stumbled across this dealership while in Muskegon. The fascinating thing about this is they bought an old diner and attached it to the building. Unfortunately I didn't get the lady that was working there's name, but she was extremely helpful in providing a bunch of history about the dealership. She was so friendly and helpful, without her explanation of a lot of things, it wouldn't have been as good as experience. After checking the place out, got my poker chip and was out the door headed north.

Fantastic experience: Dave and Chris in the service department fixed a very difficult to diagnose electrical problem on a bike that two other shops had given up on. Kudos to them for not giving up on it, and getting it back up and going for me. If your bike is in Hot Rod's service department it is in good hands.

Fantastic experience: I brought my bike in for motor noise. These people are honestly the best dealer service I have experienced turned out to not be a compensator springs. I figured it was something bad and they didn't try and up sale me . My experience was amazing they have my business. Thanks again for great work and a very quick turn around

Negative experience: I bought a 2017 Road king from Jon at Hot Rod about 2 months ago. After a month of owning the bike the drive belt shredded. I called and talked to Jon to see what they can do to fix the issue, after not hearing back for 3 weeks I took the bike to a local shop and had a belt put on(Not a Harley belt). I still hadn't heard from anyone at Hot Rod so I went in to see what they can do to make this matter right, and was told they can't do anything due to the fact that I didn't buy the belt from Hot Rod.

I had a shock on my 07 electric glide that started leaking during the trip up here from ohio (FYI I was born here and moved to Ohio for work lol) the man I talked to on the phone chris told me to bring it in and in like 4 hrs had it fixed and me back on the road enjoying my vacation the price was pretty good too thanks for the help

Fantastic experience: Was on a ride and didnt have a back rest/sissy bar for the girlfriend. Stopped randomly at Hot Rod to see if they could help out in a pinch. Awesoem facility everyone working there super friendly and cool. I didn't get the guys name but he definitely helped us out and got us the right sissy bar from used parts and saved the day. Super impressed by the service here. Great place!

Negative experience: Service sucked. Poor clothing selection. I wouldn't be in your service system. I visited thursday morning. Fat guy wearing a black and green flannel. Should see me on your cameras. No one approached nor greated us. Am a rider from out of state and was looking to get some Hotrod clothing to take back with us. We ended up leaving and going to Sandy's Harley-Davidson.

Fantastic experience: Accidentally deleted previous review trying to edit it for an update. Hot Rod is the place to go for great service in Muskegon. I recommend Scott in the service department if you need work done. He knows his stuff! (Only had experience with Scott doing work on my bike.) Just waiting to get a good dyno tune on my new S&S 124 kit Scott put together for me. Of course the team upstairs is great too!

Fantastic experience: EDIT: Google won't let me make this post go away but I Bumped the Stars up While Jerry and I work towards a Resolution. So I decided to shop Local and Buy a Part I could have gotten for ½ the cost elsewhere. It fails exactly one month later and I'm told it's Electical and No Return or Refund when asked I about getting a replacement. A. The Starter Clutch is not an Electrical part. No Wires or current ever touches it. B. It was a Brand new part and only exactly 30 days old. I was asking to be made whole not to return it for my money back.

Fantastic experience: A bit late on my review but I started looking for a bike back in February. After a horrible visit to the GR dealer, I wasn't sure I would be purchasing a HD at all. I saw a 2011 Electra Glide Classic that was exactly what I was looking for and priced right in the Hot Rod inventory. I sent an inquiry via the website, and Alyssa called me back a couple of hours later. That Saturday, I was test riding and signing papers to take my bike home. The finance team was professional, and while offering several additional options, wasn't pushy with hard upsell tactics. A professional experience all around. 10/10 would recommend and likely will use Hot Rod HD again when I'm ready for another bike.

Fantastic experience: The folks at Hot Rod Harley are without a doubt the best around in my book! I purchase a use Harley from them and unfortunately had issues with it a month into ownership on an “as is” sale. I contacted them and let them know what happened. They were quick to jump on the project and had the bike completely fixed within a few days, got me back on the road, and charged me nothing for labor due to the nature of the issue and the time frame in which it happened! Couldn’t be happier!

Positive experience: Had to order my parts for my motorcycle because they didn't have my parts in stock that I needed. Took 2 weeks to get my parts that I needed and now all my friends are riding without me. Wasn't real happy at all. And in my opinion their stock of motorcycles are way overpriced. And I own three Harleys myself, and been riding for a long time so I know what the motorcycles are worth. I'll go again just because it's close but I would rather go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: I was on Vacation near them when my wife’s 2005 Softail started having issues. I called them on a Monday at 10am and they fit me right in. Had to do a total rebuild of the Carb. One of the workers even went to their home to get a personal part that they didn’t have to get me running again… What a Class A operation that understands customer services… Don’t get that much to day. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was not set up to haul 2 bikes home but the guys at Hot Rod stayed late to help me get my trailer set up and loaned me the tools to do it. A year later when my wife decided she wanted to upgrade they again stepped up with a great trade in offer and a amazing deal on a softail deluxe. Got a tire for my self on line called service department to have put on only to tell me they won't put on because I didn't buy from them. Positive experience: I have been to a lot of harley dealerships and this one was pretty good. People are very friendly and there is a display of older bikes in and around the facility. It was well laid out with lots of room and a great selection of items. There were not a lot of new bikes but there were some very nice used ones at really good prices.

Negative experience: Harley motorcycle is okay but overrated. The Insolence and Arrogance of the majority of Harley enthusiasts is unwarranted and unwelcome. We are not garbage because we choose to ride Honda, kawasaki, Suzuki, Indian or any other bike.
