Negative experience: Terrible experience this dealership is horrible and straight robbed a disabled veteran. I was excited to get my first Harley and came to purchase. I signed for one price and got into financed and was screwed into paying 200 more than what I agreed on at the table. I had the worst experience ever in this store and should’ve went to a local dealership instead. I did not have the Harley experience by any means. I was moved around to clothing and straight into finance never got a chance to see parts or add anything to my bike. I didn’t get a chance to ring the bell like every other Harley customer does when they buy a bike. Worst experience thus far in purchasing any vehicle in my life. Honestly considering just taking it to another store and paying whatever negative equity is on the bike at this point. This is exactly why people don’t like Harley Davidson brand. The dealership made a boat load of money off me and couldn’t even offer me handle bars. The manager just ignored me never came and congratulated me on my purchase either. I will never in my life buy another Harley Davidson from this experience. They only called when I left them a bad review shows how much they actually care about their job or Harley Davidson as a brand. If this is how Harley treats all its customers no wonder the sales are so freaking low. Never Again!

When I called I was put in communication with a sweet young lady named Adora, she was patient and answered every question. I felt listened to and respected on the phone, the kind of customer service that see rare in today’s market. Very excited to attend the expo!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with the staff at the dealership. The service department took great care of my bike and Cade was fast with a three fluid flush. Alicia invited me in for some food and drinks. They were having an event inside super friendly people.

The technician, Cade answered some questions I had about heated grips and I spoke to the service department about scheduling a day to get them put on. They had a cool event with great food! Negative experience: Their sale prices are scams. Just bought a 2018 fat boy from here. It was the worst buying experience I have ever had from a so called Harley dealership. They gave me 3 different sales prices on the bike I bought.

Fantastic experience: Tamara has always been wonderful, helpful and always smiling. She got me in my first 3/4 helmet and I love it. Always a pleasure seeing her when I come in. Eric Nelson, Assistant Sales Manger actually helped sell me my bike last year. Had a great conversations about his dad and my kids SigEp involvement. Super nice guy and always helpful. Evelyn, service writer, brought my bike in for the 25k check up, was smiling and a pleasure to work with. She cleared up an issue and I was able to go riding today instead of having to leave my bike over night. James, the mechanic, was very informative, showed me the issues and recommended a break flush which I happily agreed too….safety always first on a bike. Patriot Harley Davidson is great dealership, always make you feel welcome and answers all questions….from a beginning rider in up. Keep up the great work and who knows, maybe I’ll be by for a trade in.

Fantastic experience: Took my bike in for a lot of repairs (it was hit while parked). Duke, Evelyn, and the team did a phenomenal job!! Truely outstanding service from intake, through the estimate, parts was spot on, and finally the installation. I could not be happier with the service and the outcome. Negative experience: I purchased my first H-D bike there, enjoyed dealership events, people on the floors are very professional and approachable. But based on my personal experience there this week, I will not bring my bike there again for any routine preventive maintenance. Here I hope to turn my negative experience into a positive advice for audience: We should always ask for an “estimate of work with cost” before letting the service provider touch our beloved bike. Continue reading for full artifacts… I purchased a brand new bike from Patriot H-D and it was delivered to me on 1/12/2023. Between work and kids, I endorsed 193 miles from riding around my neighborhood on weekends just to maintain its condition until next road trip with buddies. Earlier this week (Wednesday) I dropped off my bike to Patriot H-D and requested services for engine oil change, state safety inspection, and review check-engine code history. The service clark told me they will perform the “1000-Mile” service for requested engine oil change because my bike still has the original factory oil in it. Everything seems normal to me until I received a phone call from the same clark next day (Thursday). He indicated the 1000-Mile service will be completed by tomorrow and I can stop by to pick up my bike. The total cost is $900 something. Immediately I questioned about the charge. He told me besides engine oil change, my bike needs front/rear brakes fluid flush, and transmission fluid flush. They are part of the 1000-Mile service. I replied ALL I wanted was engine oil change, safety inspection, review code history, and nothing else. Why didn’t you tell me service items outside of my request? Then he said if I declined brake fluid and transmission fluid flush services, I would need to sign a “SAFETY WAIVER” due to dealership’s policy. Those fluids in my bike are more than two years old from the factory. Really?!! No one inform me about this policy when I purchase my bike and extended warranty. So I told him please do not work on my bike until I have a clarification with the service manager. Guess what, my word doesn’t matter. Next day (Friday) he told me the 1000-Mile service is completed. Charge is now $500 something instead $900 something, bike is ready for pick up. So yesterday (Saturday) I escalated my experience with the service manager in-person and paid $300 plus dollars for the cost of my original request… However, I am concerning about the information on the invoice they printed for me: “Customer States: BIKE WAS SITTING FOR 2 YEARS AND ONLY RIDDEN 200 MILES” “DECLINED REC- FRONT AND REAR BRAKE FLUSH - ABS” And did not mention anything about transmission fluid flush. What if something goes wrong to my bike related to ABS brakes or transmission, there is no record of who/when was worked on them last. What a mess, left me uneasy feeling. -CJ Tang

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with the one of the employee at this store. Service Porter, Ulises helped me unloading my Ultra Limited that I bought from a private sale. He was super friendly, willing to help, and well knowledgeable with the Harley products. Thank you Ulises for being a such a great human being. I genuinely appreciate your kindness the other day by letting me use your ramp and giving me hands by pulling out my bike!

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best experience I've had purchasing a Harley. These guys were approachable, honest, and worked with me the whole way. Eric was the best fit specialist I have worked with and I wholeheartedly believe he genuinely cared about me throughout the purchase. Ryan and Phil were fantastic as well. At the end of the day, I laid out exactly what I needed to make a deal work and they got me there. I highly recommend purchasing a bike from these folks.

Fantastic experience: I bought my first motorcycle at Patriot Harley back in March and it's been my best decision this year. I was lucky to have Dutch help me out with finding the right bike. He was honest, genuine, and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Not only him but the other two Chris's as well were helpful. This is the first dealership I've visited for any type of vehicle where the dealers were not trying to sell me their most expensive ride, here they were selling me the bike I would be most happy with.

Fantastic experience: Definitely recommend Patriot Harley. I’ve been to a couple other dealerships and got mad and left. Patriot doesn’t pressure you in anyway. I felt like I could walk around and not have a salesperson following. Marcos was my salesman. He was great 10/10. He just had a really calming presence. The bike I came in for was already sold. However Marcos went out of his way to find a bike for me. He pulled a bike out that hadn’t even been inspected yet. And it was perfect! It was just a good experience. I’m going back if I need anything.

Fantastic experience: Came in to get numbers on a hopefully September or early October purchase on a New 2024 Road Glide. Worked with Marcos P. and Johnathan A.. Man I am very pleased with their excellent customer service. They not only provided numbers for my future purchase but also helped me select the best options for the bike that matched my personality. Definitely feel comfortable with my future purchase and highly recommend both Marcos P. and John A. hands down. Talk about straight shooters.

Negative experience: If I could give them zero I would. I asked for a rear tire job, specifically outlining the cheapest tire you could, then they picked the most expensive tire out there - not because of stock, but because they "do not install un-matching tires for safety issues". I was told they would pick the cheapest tire. They ended up picking a rear tire to match my front tire for safety issues, the entire point of this was to get tires on one at a time. I was not informed of any policy in any form, but they apparently do not do "non-matching tires". However on the phone, when I asked for "any cheap tire" I was assured that would be fine. Nobody outlined that policy, and it cost me. No email, no nothing, no heads up or common courtesy. I trusted Harley to not be greedy and to be transparent, I was completely wrong. I paid for a tow truck, I denied cheaper options at other dealerships, because I had my trust in Harley. I would have never come here if I knew they would be this way. Every customer deserves an informed decision, hopefully my bank agrees as well.

Negative experience: Patriot Harley Davidson won’t care of you once they get your money. They didn’t apply for my tag for 3 months after they sold bike to me and it took another month for them to get it. I called them every day. I was waiting more than a week for second temporary tag and couldn’t ride my bike. Once last temp tag expired bike was parked more than a month. Finally I’ve got it. Asked them for any compensation (they charged around $800 for registration) for that and they said yes of course but manager isn’t here right now and we’ll let you know once talk to him. Nobody contacted me after that (about a month right now). “Perfect” customer service So future customers be aware. Negative experience: Don’t go here for maintenance unless you want to be charged for work that they don’t perform. Work takes longer than they say it will & the price is more than they say it will be initially. Also, they’ll cut your battery charger pigtail off just because they are clueless.

Fantastic experience: I had service done here recently and the rates are generally the same as the other Harley dealerships I contacted. The difference is the quality of service and the customer service they provide. Very friendly and informative. I will say Evelyn (in service) and Veronica (the business manager) were especially informative. The technician really knew the bikes and were thorough and complete on all the checks. Some may view this as a clever way to upsell more service/parts, however I view this as information that allows me to make a more informed decision on what needs to be repaired immediately and what can wait for my next service. You can certainly go to other shops and get work done on your Harley by mechanics that know bikes and it could potentially be less expensive initially. I would rather go to the people who specialize in the brand that I’m riding as that’s all they work on and all the work is documented and can follow the bike.

Negative experience: just wanted to sell my perfect condition 2021 iron 883 with 1,300 miles on it ,to them, i purchased it 6 months ago, put 100 miles on it and its has sat under a cover most days.. they did an evaluation and said it in rough condition, worn out tires , dents , dings and needs major engine repairs. to bring the value down from $7,400 to $3,900 bunch of scammers. they called me 13 times come on in , so they could rip me off and retail my bike for $10,995. no thank you !

Positive experience: Motorcycle priced 15800 online was quoted to me at 22k. Sounded like prices advertised online are just baits. They get three star for friendly staff. If don't plan to test ride get a quote before you go.

Negative experience: I never leave negative reviews, however this time I feel compelled to do just that. July 3rd, I went into Patriot Harley Davidson in Fairfax Virginia to look at the 2024 Road Glide CVO ST. I informed the sales representative (Jonathan) that I’m paying cash and there is no trade. There are no prices on the bikes at the door of the showroom floor, the 1st red flag. I asked the sales rep what the price of the bike was, he didn’t know the 2nd red flag. I have long heard this dealership didn’t treat African American customers very well. However, that’s a long story and I did purchase my 2016 CVO Road Glide Ultra from this very dealership. After speaking with Jonathan for a while another sales rep joins the conversation and it’s the usual salesman, customer conversation. The second sales rep didn’t know the price either, the 3rd red flag. The starting MSRP for this bike on every Harley website I looked at was $42,999. This is the stock bike as it comes from Mother Harley, nothing additional has been added. Shortly thereafter the sales manager (Chris) comes over and joins the conversation. I go through the whole spill again, what’s the cash price this bike. Chris tells me I’m here to sale bikes, I don’t do mattresses or anything of the sort, I sell bikes. Then Chris says let me go work the numbers. This joker comes back and tells me this bike is $54,999, the 4th red flag. Then it was $51,999, then Chis asked what I planned to do with the bike as far as upgrades. I told him at the moment nothing being its new and there weren’t a lot of after-market parts such as cams and engine components. So, currently the most I would be to change to a 2-1 D&D exhaust. He then reworks some numbers, comes back with $49,999 and he’ll throw in the exhaust. On my way home I got a message from the dealer with Chris’s final offer of $45,999, no exhaust if I take it today. I get it, I am a business owner as well, I understand, businesses exist to make money. Patriot, however, you have lost me forever. How is it possible when the starting MSRP is $42,999 there’s a $12,000 mark-up, no additions, no upgrades, nothing. You can rest assured; I will never step foot in this dealership ever for any reason at all and that’s a bold statement being forever is a long time. As for your customer relations rep (Phil) who I also spoke with wanting to know how my experience was in the dealership. Aside from your two salesmen Jonathan and the other salesman, your dealership without a doubt lives up to the rumors I’ve heard, absolutely horrible. You and I both know Chris is not going to call me back and I don’t expect him too. It is my most sincere hope that this review cost this dealership as many customers as humanly possible. I will trailer my club brothers anywhere in the lower 48 for sales or service before I’d recommend them coming to Patriot Harley Davidson for any reason. Additionally, it’s my hope this helps someone else steer clear of this dealership, if not and they enjoy the price gouging tactics of the dealership, then by all means Patriot is more than happy to charge you significantly more than MSRP and smile while doing it. If there was a way to leave no stars or negative stars I would gladly do so..

Negative experience: I visited Patriot Harley Davidson today - July 9, 2024. I drove to Fairfax from Leesburg to purchase a 2023 Softail Standard - VIN 1HD1BVJ16PB075950. It was priced on Patriot's web site as $15,177. I planned to pay cash for the bike TODAY. The first salesman who approached me when I walked in the showroom told me the price would not be honored if I was paying cash because I wouldn't be financing it. That was the end of the visit and I walked out. I bought an Indian at Twigg Cycles in Hagerstown. This is what happens when businesses get greedy. Nothing to discuss. Just be honest with your customers and don’t mislead them with false advertising.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this place for all your Harley needs. Maintenance department staff is always very polite and timely with your service. I’ve particularly enjoyed working with Tyler, Nate, Og and several of the technicians. Veronica at the finance department is energetic and kind. Parts department is knowledgeable helpful and courteous. Last but not least… this is one of the few motorcycle shops I’ve been to where the shop staff can actually help you with all your questions and needs rather than just staff the cash register. A++

Negative experience: Scheduled oil change. Had three free oil in my contract. Did one they tried to charge me for. But thankfully I had my contract. Now they won’t honor the other two saying there was a three year expiration date. I promise you me or my friends will never ever buy from the dealership again. And that was four of us that did.

Fantastic experience: I have found that Alisha and Cade very hard workers. I called one day to get some information and Alisha answered the phone and was very professional and was able to answer all of my questions I had. I had responded by saying I’ll be up that way and take a look and when I got there Cade had shown me around the store while Alisha was helping other customers. I want to say they deserve a raise and promoted. They are true dedicated workers and know how to get the job done. I will be returning back up that way when I am in the area.

Negative experience: I bought my bike here April 25th of this year. The day I picked it up the salesman lost my keys and tried to say they gave them to me. Which is false because I hadn’t even touched the bike at this point. Then they couldn’t cut new ones so they told me that they would order them and have them to me in a few weeks.. fast forward to June 6th I still hadn’t received my keys. Called to check on them and the sales guy told me that they can’t find them… AGAIN and would have to order them AGAIN.. and he would have them sent directly to my house. Fast forward to last week.. I received a text saying my keys arrived at the store and ready for pick up. So I call once again and ask about the keys and if I have to drive 2 hours away to get them or if they still plan to ship them to my house. I was told that he will have to check about the keys and call me back in 5 minutes…. Well it’s been 5 days and no return phone call and still no dang keys…. Chris Tallion is great… but for the rest… please do better! And get me my dang keys!!!

Fantastic experience: Been shopping for a Harley for a couple years - wanted to upgrade from my Kawa Vulcan 650s (great bike) to something a little more long range capable for comfort and power and not to heavy. Back and forth at Patriot- always treated respectfully even though I didn't buy. I bought yesterday - 2024 Heritage - very good negotiation and frankly had a fun time (maybe the cheeseburgers for their event helped). Parts folks, Apparel, Maintenance, Sales and Finance were involved and all were some good people. Keep up the great job.

Fantastic experience: I went in to Patriot yesterday hoping to pick up a used motorcycle. I was greeted by both Jonathan G. and Jonathan A. Both were extremely accommodating to my questions and concerns as a returning rider after being absent for 10 years and they took me around, answering all of my questions. I explained I was there hoping to look at a used Forty Eight and they let me know unfortunately it was no longer in store, so Jonathan G. took me around and showed me the available inventory. He put up with my 1000 questions and my insistence on checking the fit on one bike, going to try a different bike, then thinking twice and returning to the first bike probably 10 times. Over the course of two days I ended up purchasing a perfect motorcycle for myself and worked with multiple members of the team to secure financing, go over parts and service and figure out next steps. They arranged delivery on my bike next week since I was uncomfortable hopping on and getting on the highway to ride home (quick note: they can deliver immediately but I am having a part installed first). I look forward to visiting the dealership frequently now that my riding days are back in action, and I can't recommend them enough. Every person I dealt with was so helpful and as someone who is (was) nervous to get back on a bike, it really made me feel that this is truly a community worth being a part of. Again, props to Jonathan G. for being the best sales rep I've ever dealt with! Not pushy at all, helped answer all of my questions, gave honest recommendations and was completely knowledgable on all aspects of Harley and riding in general. While I don't expect to purchase another bike anytime soon as the one I got is perfect, I know that when I do I'll be returning here, and in the meantime will recommend it to all who want to buy a new or used bike or just have questions!

Fantastic experience: Tamara was amazing! I attended the "Ride of the Patriots" last weekend, and she was so attentive to my needs. I ended up spending way more than I had planned, but it didn't even matter. The event was a great experience. Thank you for all the gear, Tamara! Next time I plan to GTP!

Fantastic experience: Had a really good time this past weekend at the Ride of the Patriot event. Really was a nice turnout on such a hot day. Picked up some great Harley gear and had the best service from Tamara, loved her accent!

Fantastic experience: We had an absolute blast on Memorial Day weekend. We went Fri to learn more about the Rolling to Remember going out on Sunday. Jake Curtis gave us a warm and welcomed greeting, not something we get at some dealers. We came back Saturday because of his recommendations for great food, live band, ax throwing, bike wash. The food was amazing, the music was great, and our bike needed a wash after 2,000 miles together here while participating in the HOG Tour of Valor.

Fantastic experience: Marcos was a fantastic salesperson! He was patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and, most importantly, not pushy. Marcos answered our questions and didn't mind that my husband returned to the dealership more than once to determine what he wanted to purchase. The whole Patriot Harley Davidson team was professional and courteous and made us feel welcome. When it's my turn for a bike, we will be coming to see Marcos because he's our guy!

Fantastic experience: John G assisted me with my bike purchase. In initially wanted something pre-owned, but overall felt the newer bike was a better deal due to the warranty and services provided. It also fit in with my monthly budget much better. I got a gray colored nightster. I’m a new rider, but after two rides I finally have the clutch control down and feel comfortable on the main roads. They definitely sold me a good bike, and I would recommend this harley to any new rider. The delivery took a little bit longer than expected.

Negative experience: Went to Patriot HD for a safety inspection and mentioned that my bike has a hard time starting. I asked them if they could check the battery. After 2 hours I picked up my bike and and they said the battery is okay. They charged me 75,-$ (1/2 hour labor time) for the testing. Ridiculous! My shop around the corner did the safety inspection and checked the battery on my other ride for free. Good to know where to go in the future.

Negative experience: UPDATE: I purchased this motorcycle 5 months ago at this point. I have still not received my title or tags. Patriot is giving excuse after excuse about how they’ve had turnover and how their titling company that they outsource to has lost the title and so on. Mistakes and things happen. All good. But I continue to get “we will call you tomorrow with a better update” and no calls. Asked for a letter for my lender (explaining situation since they want the title) and nothing. 5 months of this. They finally connected me with Rory Swan at Corporate and he made the same promises and after a week still no letter and no update on how long this will take. The number Rory shared goes to the dealer and the dealer claims it’s “illegal” for them to give out his email. Purchase was easy. Post-purchase has been nothing but headaches. Could be just 1 bad experience but I’d never recommend this dealership to anyone. I live about 2 hours away from Patriot. I was able to work with Dutch and Chris over the phone to get additional information on a bike I was interested in. We scheduled an appointment to see it in person and Dutch did not disappoint with his customer service. Knowledgeable, honest, respectful and really give you the VIP treatment and appreciate the customer and their interests. Purchased my Breakout that day and I absolutely love it. The team has followed up with me several times to ensure everything was going well. Highly recommend Patriot and when you walk in, ask for Dutch!
