Negative experience: This place is so disappointing we brought our bike in that we had an appointment for we had a bite delivered a day early two weeks went by we barely got a phone call when we go up there to see the guy. Finally he said the bike was up on the lift and they were working on it as they spoke when I looked my head around the corner I seen the bike just sitting there. No one had worked on it. It hadn’t been touched a week later my husband gets a phone call and they tell us to come pick up the bike we gotta pick it up five minutes down the road we were down after we spent $985. We finally get in touch with the service guy the next day and he says oh the bike wasn’t ready so they can pick it up. They take it back to fix it. It was going to charge us another $900 to fix a part that was $45 and took my husband five minutes now the gas tank is leaking when we leave to get Gwen to leave the bike over this place is a joke their sales guy. Matt is a joke that I’m reliable and rated too expensive.

Negative experience: I had purchased 4 bikes from here prior to this experience and after the first two I said I would never go there again. Well I went back for 2 more and regretted it yet again when it came to the service department. The last time I went in for bike 5 and between sales and financing they had me standing around for 2 hours waiting. To throw salt in the wound they even put a guy ahead of me to using the time line back even further. I took the hit on the credit report and just left. Finance guy had the gall to call me 5 minutes after I walked out saying he was ready for me now. At no point in the last 5 years has this business ever operated 100%. If the sales and finance was solid their service department was garbage. When they got the service department right sales and finance went downhill. My wife's last service they didnt torque the drain plug properly and it came out of her primary while she was riding home. It wasn't until she parked it and the last bit of oil drained onto the driveway did she know there was an issue. Unless you are going in for clothing or parts save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: This location actually hosted a BIRTHDAY PARTY for my son's 11th! They went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure he had the absolute best day ever and they left no stone unturned! The staff was accommodating, knowledgeable, and the bikers who happened to be on the grounds were amazing. They really showed my guests what Harley culture is all about and I couldn't be more pleased. From the stunt riders to the bikers who came to dance with us at our tent, everything was amazing! Thanks to Mark, Star, Ashley, Bernard, and anyone else at Bayside who had a hand in making a little boy's birthday dream a reality!

Fantastic experience: The experience was great. The sales manager and the young lady that helped me were great. The only thing I wasn’t made aware of during the transaction was I had to wait 5 to 10 business days before I could pick up the bike. I should have been told this from the start but other than that it was a great experience and I am looking forward to picking up my bike in a few days. I would definitely go there again. Negative experience: My sales person was nice. That's the only reason why I didn't give it 1 star. They quoted me low $20ks for a roadglide under employee pricing. Marked up the price to $32k to cover the generous trade offer they gave me. Long story short, I would have paid them the NADA value of my bike in the mark up, thereby paying them full price for the new bike and retail value of my current bike to close the deal. Insulting. I hope no one has ever fallen for this tactic. Of course, "negotiating a deal takes time."

Positive experience: Don't get me wrong, this is a great place, for the most part. I'm a beginner. I went in to try on helmets and find a bike that I was comfortable sitting on. They have a good selection of gear. Jared is very kind and helpful, it seems like he really cares. I can't say the same for the other guy (don't know his name. He had a buzz cut and glasses.) Who cut Jared off while we were speaking, in order to sell hard and be as pushy as possible. Very unprofessional. I suggest building relationships with potential buyers like Jared was originally doing. Not being intrusive and pushy, especially towards vulnerable newbies like me.

Fantastic experience: Stopped in for some poker chips while out for a long ride from MB SC To OC MD. Greeted by a salesman, super nice. Was helped by staff and no one tried to upsell me on anything. Place was huge and super clean and they had a busy schedule with monthly customer appreciation nights. Thanks for being open and nice to my wife!

Fantastic experience: Stopped at this dealership on my way to Raleigh, NC from Annapolis, MD when my '21 Road Glide Limited's engine light came on. They did a great prioritizing my bike since I was traveling and began working on it right away. Very pleased with the technician, service men/women, parts, and clothing department. Fantastic experience: Traded in a 2015 Road Glide Special for a 2022 Road Glide ST. The sales reps, the service department, and parts counter were all extremely helpful and fed me everything straight from the beginning. I personally like this establishment so well that I take my bike there for all of its Routine Maintenance and I live about 3 1/2 hrs south in North Carolina.

Fantastic experience: The staff is wonderful at this location. I feel so bad for them. I went here on March 14th. While I was in their shopping, some guy came in and started yelling at them. I could not take the verbal abuse they did. Ryan and Star were wonderful, helpful, and very accommodating.

Negative experience: So much for VIP service when you purchase a maintenance contract. 1st maintenance on the new bike took almost 6 hours. They kept doing inspections instead of working on my bike, which should've only taken a couple hours. Guess I trailer it there from now on so I have transportation to do something to pass the time.

Negative experience: This is the worse Harley Dealership in the WORLD they have FAKE CERTIFIED BIKES . You guys does not have . You all screwed over my cousin Chris for the last 2 1/2 months. You sold him a bike that had no break pads, dashboard goes blank when he lock the steern to the right the dash go blank. Then you all want to give him all this hell about his refund. Negative experience: Bought a 2020 street glide special performance orange from here 20k miles. CERTIFIED PRE OWNED! Harley Davidson describes certified pre owned as thoroughly inspected and reconditioned to Harley Davidson standards. I was charged $1300 reconditioning fee on top of all other fees. The bike had a plethora of issues one would not expect with a certified pre owned Harley from a Harley dealer. The bike was immediately sent back to the dealer and sat there for 2 weeks with the repairs not addressed. The manager said he wouldn't even fix everything that would have to be fixed in order to be certified pre owned because they would lose too much money. After 15 days I requested my money back. It took about another month to get my refund after telling the dealer they never issued my refund. I had to fight and fight to convince them until they finally saw that I was right and they had my money all along. Watch for yourself beware! Negative experience: Bought a helmet from here for training class. Found it cheaper at Amazon so went to return it within 4 days(unused). The lady (apparently the associate/assistant manager) told me out right that it is non refundable. I asked her to show me their return policy, wouldn’t do it, so I pulled it out on my phone and showed it to her on their website. Then she tries to give me store credit, I had to refuse and insist a few times for a refund to finally have that happen. Ridiculous waste of time. Why would you try to trick me? Never taking my business here.

Negative experience: If I could select “Zero” stars I would! Dealership has really gone down hill! It does not matter if you schedule an appointment for service! They will stop working on your bike to work on someone else’s! A 1 1/2 hr oil change ended up being all day! Turn over rate in service department has been ridiculous! Laura then told me I could pick up my bike the next day if I wanted to! No thank you! It’s supposed to rain tomorrow! I would have liked to ride my bike today in 69 degree weather! I have bought 5 bikes from this dealership but not anymore! Do your research……find a dealer that has good prices and a good service department.

Fantastic experience: As a Harley owner, I have been to my share of dealerships. Bayside HD "blew my bags off"! An incredible in stock selection of new and used bikes, and Ducati!!!! Not to mention the huge selection of motor-clothes...one would find it hard, not to find what one is looking for! The staff is super friendly and the decor is one of the finest I have seen. It is obvious the owner is an Elvis fan...and a big supporter of the military. Speaking of the owner, Mr Slaughter (Maurice) is one of the most personable people I have met! Bravo Zulu Bayside!

Fantastic experience: My daughter purchased a gift card for me for what she thought would be honored at any Harley Davidson Store. My store of choice was Bayside Harley Davidson, however when I attempted to purchase some clothing, I was told with that particular gift card I could only go to Hampton Roads, Southside, or the store on oceanfront in VA Beach. None of those store had the selection or multiple choices of Harley gear that Bayside Harley Davidson had in stocks. IMO, Bayside Harley Davidson has the best clothing selection of all the local stores hand down!!! Keep up the great work!!!

Negative experience: Worst dealership around, went here to buy a bike. They are pushy to get a bike sold. I wanted a bike then decided to cancel the loan, now no one’s answering my calls. I get the run around, trying to get my down deposit back after almost 2 weeks. Still no one’s returning my calls. I would avoid this dealer if you wanna save money

Positive experience: Dom is great and enjoyable to work with. Been shopping the Pan America for sometime, and black Friday was a good time to purchase at that time. Little problem with the pricing in the beginning but finance was able to work around it.

Negative experience: The instructors here are incredibly rude. Nobody told them they are no longer in military service, they are now in customer service. From snatching students’ keys and throwing them across the parking lot to screaming at us to get in line (then walking away for 15 minutes while we sweated in full gear on the blacktop in July), I have never been so furious or unimpressed with a teacher of anything in my life. With only 2 days to learn, you’d think they would try to help students understand how to work a bike. Nope! They expect you to be road ready at the start, and will waste as much of your time as possible with long-winded personal anecdotes, useless pontificating, bullying and bragging. Learn literally anywhere else if you can. This course is just an exercise in stoking the instructors’ egos.

Fantastic experience: After not riding for 15 years I decided to get back on 2 wheels. Especially after a successful round of chemo. This was the first dealership I went to with the wife. We went to look around for a future purchase but saw the bike I wanted. 2023 street glide anniversary edition. Couldn’t say no. The dealership bent over backwards to make an amazing deal and treated me with respect the entire time. Great communication throughout the process.

Negative experience: I came in the dealership to take my girlfriend who is an employee to lunch and got harassed by the owner Maurice Slaughter. He was very disrespectful to me and he followed me around the dealership talking bad about me to his employees. Even when I tried to walk away to defuse the situation he still continued to walk behind me, He tried to belittle me in front of the whole dealership for absolutely no reason whatsoever. It was really uncalled for and very unprofessional. I have filed a report with Harley Davidson corporate offices.

Fantastic experience: My brother and I have bought 3 total bikes from Bayside Harley and everyone has been fantastic. I just picked up a new 2023 Lowrider S, and from start to finish everyone was awesome! I almost exclusively buy all of my parts/gear from Bayside and the knowledge everyone in service and the parts department is extensive. I would like to shout out the general manager Toney and the finance director Gordon, both of these gentlemen are TOP NOTCH! I highly recommend this location to do business in all of Hampton Roads you will not be disappointed! Ride on!

Fantastic experience: Big shout out to Dom, sales manager and Moe, they went above and beyond… literally. I can’t say anything good enough for this team. They made me the deal of a life time on a brand new Roadglide, and probably gave me way more than a dealership should have on my trade-in. Love these guys, welcomed me to bayside with open arms, may not buy another bike anytime soon with how nice this ride is… but will definitely be back to hang. Thanks guys.

Positive experience: I've got a service contract I can't transfer anywhere else, so I still go there. But their employee turnover rate is so high that when they get a good crew in service they're gone right away. It's hit or miss on if it's worth going there at all.

Fantastic experience: An extraordinary experience. It took Maurice Mark and the team at Bayside no more than 4 days for me to get on my Sportster and ride and that was only because it went over the weekend and I had to wait for something to happen I did not have to wait for them. The camaraderie and that building is legendary they are no less than the families it was an absolutely wonderful experience on every level it was not just dealing with the business it was like dealing with old friend a new friend a cousin... I actually turned around on the doorsteps to Southside Harley because I have been standing there for 10 to 15 minutes talking with my mother on the phone who rides a Harley she's been riding since she was 15 years old she said where you at I said Wichita she said no you need to go out to see Maurice and Bayside Harley. Considering that I have been standing outside of Southside Harley for at least 10 minutes no one had attempted to speak to me no one attempted to wave at me I wanted attempted to see if I was going to ride a bike or steal it. I can only assume that they didn't want to sell a motorcycle and that maybe I probably didn't look like the guy who was on the phone who set an appointment. Because I set an appointment but no one came outside to check and see if I was the guy buzzing around multiple motorcycles... My brother JD Hogg would say," long story short" If you're going to buy a Harley-Davidson anywhere in Virginia buy it from the team the family at Bayside Harley-Davidson. Because they will take care of you like a friend they may cause you to think that perhaps you haven't been living yet

Fantastic experience: Okay so I had a 2012 Ultra Limited had 60 thousand miles on it I wanted to trade it in for a newer bike, got turned down buy several dealerships that said the bike was too old and too many miles within 10 minutes Bayside said they would accept my trade and I was approved for a 23 Pan America had 6 Mi on it. These people treated me like I meant something and that's a first thank you to Bayside and for helping me get my new bike that I want it. 10/10 will highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Well I have to do this again. Write a review. I called Ms. Monica my service writer. Told her I had a split rear tire. She looked me up and said, yep you got HD ESP on your tires. I sent her 2 pictures of the split and she said not to ride it over because of the damage. She sent a young man out the next day. His name was Billy. Great guy. Polite, and courteous. He loaded my scoot with care and secured with even more care. Mind you I live on the other side of the water about a 45 minute drive thru the dreaded tunnels. My bike was repaired at no cost because of my HD ESP plan. And the pick up and delivery were because of my VIP plan. I have nothing but accolades for how myself and my motorcycle were treated. If you are thinking about a purchase. Go here, I was treated like family. Thank you to all involved. You guys deserve an applause!

Positive experience: Purchased a forty eight here, certified pre-owned. Everyone was super laid back. Honestly had some bad experiences here in the past but it seems to have improved quite a bit since then. Looking forward to continuing to see improvement here. And overall satisfied with my purchase and the service I received.

Negative experience: First impressions not so great. Stopped in on my way to NC to checkout the inventory. Looking for a Roadglide, salesperson told me this isn't a museum, we are here to sell bikes. Another potential customer looked at me and said they are very pushy here. Tuened around and walked out. If thats how im greeted you dont need my business. I definitely won't be going back or shopping at any of the sister stores either. These HD dealerships are getting to be like car dealers.

Fantastic experience: Went in to look at a few bikes. Mark showed me the bikes I was interested in. He knew my needs and had a second option as a back up. Anthony worked magic and got me approved on my second option in payments I was happy with. Go see mark if you want a good buying experience.

Fantastic experience: Bayside Harley-Davidson without hesitation, welcomed me with open arms and great service. Especially after a terrible experience with another Harley Davidson dealership. On my first ever bike/trike I was a little nervous but anxious to get the bike and hopeful in having a smooth transition. All the employees were courteous and accommodating to my needs and wants for my trike. This is my shop for life and will be highly recommended to all my friends and family. Fantastic experience: Needed a state inspection quick. Donovan got me in 20 minutes after I called and Moe took the bike right in upon arrival and was back in the road 15 minutes later! Fast and well done service!

Fantastic experience: Had an awesome experience purchasing my 2023 Ducati Desert X! Moe and the rest of the team did a great job taking care of us. Felt like we were welcome, and treated like family. Most positive dealership experience I have had in Hampton Roads. UPDATE- just got the break-in service knocked out. Completely stress free and great experience. Donavan, Moe, and the rest of the team continue to be outstanding! Couldn’t be happier with my experience thus far.

Fantastic experience: Ended up going here to buy a bike because the Yorktown branch left us sitting there for over an hour while they claimed the parts guy was calculating labor cost for the accessories we wanted. The entire staff at Bayside was great, everyone I came in contact with was friendly and made sure I was welcome.

Fantastic experience: The sales team is amazing I went in looking to trade in a 2017 road glide the offered me the most money out of any HD dealership and gave me a good deal on my new bike. They definitely helped save Harley’s reputation in my eyes with all the bad experience I’ve had in the past with dealerships if your ever in the area stop by and hang out

Fantastic experience: Nice people and a good Harley dealer. We were traveling through on our Motorcycle trip from Middle TN. They had the typical location Stickers (which we put on our trailers), shot glasses, poker chips, Shirts and good prices on rain gear which I desperately needed.

Fantastic experience: I went into Bayside Harley Davidson to purchased a brand new Road Glide. Que was very Knowledgeable and professional. The managers were very reasonable to work with and Trini made the Financial paperwork as painless as Possible. The Parts dept when I did my wishlist was very helpful. Overall , Every person I had contact with was Awesome. I walked out of there 2 hours later, the Proud owner of a 2023 Road Glide. Thanks to the Whole Team at Bayside Harley Davidson.

Negative experience: I was belittled professionally and constantly told we are the "worst service department in the nation". That was shouted at us by the top Management, almost daily. I constantly asked for help, I asked for more training, I made my direct manager (there were 2 in my one month there) aware of my weaknesses and asked for direction. I was let go with no written warning. It didn't matter how honest I was that I was not perfect and would ask for help, they were not looking for anyone that was willing to learn, they are only looking for perfection. I was let go for the same thing I asked help for. I hope that Maurice is aware of what is going on. He is personally responsible for the people that he holds liable for his name in this area. Know that when you are dealing with the service department, whatever frustrations you have, they are getting it worse behind the scenes, or in front of you, in some cases.

Negative experience: They charged me for things they did not do. A two-day job, and it took them a month. Their mechanics do not know how to use a easy out according to what I was told. I was told no one in the shop knew how to use the easy out bolt extractor.. They said they balance to my front tire but my tire has no balancing weight on it. I was told,, LOL ,.they balanced it by adjusting my spokes.... Again LOL. They left the boat off my seat my seat fell off while I was going down the road. I would never take my bike again, they have not even tried to make things right. I used to like Bayside I even bought this bike from them. I was very disappointed and their quality of work and courtesy. I have been waiting for months for them to fix. heir mistake

Fantastic experience: Long review but worth the read for anyone looking for an awesome dealership. Update: January 2024 - Thank you again to the Bayside family! Sales team, thank you Anthony, Wayne, Tony. Finance team, thank you Ryan and Kasey. Previous review mentioned the attentiveness to your situation....and the rest still stands as well. Service Department. Where do I start? A whole new place! Amil and team, thank you. From the sign in process with the service writers and on to the techs in the back, easy process. The team took time while the new bike was being set up to allow me to sit on it and give feed back about placement of handlebars and other set up items. Chris took extra time to go over some of the features of the new gen bike and address any questions I had. Ryen, Star, and team in merchandise do an amazing job at keeping up the awesome atmosphere! The 1-27-2024 release party was an awesome day. Any names have that were omitted or misspelled, I apologize. The whole crew at Bayside is amazing! Thank you as well to the ones behind the scenes. Previous review from January 2023: Family friendly, fun atmosphere. Attentive to your specific likes, dislikes, and situation. Easy process. Returning customer, will return again.

Fantastic experience: We came to purchase a 2022 Road Glide Limited. The dealership, Tony, Anthony and Q stood behind their product and their word by providing the best financial options and best selection of bikes. As out-of-towners, we were treated like family. Fantastic experience: I recently acquired a new bike and Anthony helped me through the whole process they worked with me and got me a sweet deal. Every one was very professional and left a good impression. When I went back for my break in service they took very good care, Cruz on the Ducati side was super helpful and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience: I was in the market for a new Road Glide, Anthony and Bernard at Bayside took really good care of me and came in thousands less than most other dealers. They got my deal done fast and had everything ready for me when I got there. They could not do enough to help me, communicate extremely well with me through the whole process, and made sure that all my needs were addressed. I will be a Bayside customer as long as they are there!

Positive experience: Everyone is very business manner and polite, it's a very well run business, the only improvement I can see and suggest is to have a way to pickup bikes that need work and that the owner can't get it to the shop with , a pick up service is deeply needed .

Fantastic experience: Edit: 10/9/2021 now changing my 3 star rating to 5 stars… Adam the sales manager has resolved my issue with a solution that I am happy with. Thanks Adam I will definitely continue to do all of my business with Bayside Harley Davidson 10/8/2021 I would give a five star review if it weren’t for one thing. I just purchased a 2021 Road Glide Limited 10/5/2021, it’s an amazing machine. I went to the service department to schedule my 1000 mile maintenance (since 3 days later I already have 495 miles on it), to find out that the prepaid maintenance plan was not added to my contract and it would cost me 460$. This has me disgruntled. Upon learning this I spoke to the finance guy Steve, (nice enough dude). Steve told me they were stretched too thin on the contract as it is and it could not be added. *Keep in mind I have less than perfect credit*. But it’s a brand new vehicle, for a mere 3000$ for 3 years of PPM coverage, of course I want a maintenance plan. It was never offered. I spoke with the sales manager, (who’s name has escaped me at this time) who told me, he would see if he could get it worked out. I will call sales manager Adam tomorrow and see if he can also help me find some resolve. As for the staff everyone was amazing and made me feel right at home. I’m going to forget some names on this list I’m sure, so forgive me in advanced. Eubie was the sales associate that directly worked with me and I stand impressed with his professionalism and customer driven attitude. I look forward to working with Eubie in the future. Dorian also a cool guy, kept the wife and I entertained while we waited for paper work. Dorian also has some cool stories to tell. Cruze at the parts counter was quick and informative. Kenny in the service department is very knowledgeable and eager to provide great customer service. The lady at the retail counter was an absolute joy to shop with.The sales manager Adam seems to be genuinely invested in meeting the needs of customers. The folks at Bayside make an awesome team and provide a motorcycle buying experience that will leave an imprint for years to come. So because of this I have great faith that they will get me right!! In the event that they do I will change my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars. Thanks Bayside Harley Davidson.

Fantastic experience: Have always enjoyed the fine service I recive at Bayside Harley Davison. Great service. But backed up 2 weeks. I bought both bikes from Bayside. Will definitely buy my third from there when these two are paid off

Fantastic experience: Had my bike towed to Bayside today, although they were booked out over two weeks, Don at the service desk was incredibly helpful in finding me a clutch cable to fit my custom street glide and give some tips on home replacement. Spend quite a bit of time in the service department but he had a great sense of humor and helped pass the time, even called me another cheap tow truck to get my bike home. Great Service Don!

Fantastic experience: I am a Chicagoan living in Annapolis who is moving to New Hampshire in the Spring. I have owned 4 Harleys over the years and wanted to get another one to enjoy in New Hampshire. Specifically, I wanted a 2020 Softail Deluxe in Pearl White. I love the classic, nostalgic look of the bike. I called over 30 dealerships with each one telling me that there was no chance that I would find the bike as Harley discontinued it for 2021 and that all existing inventory had been sold. Feeling a bit defeated and resigning myself to the fact that I would have to choose a different model, I then called Bayside Harley and spoke to Big Dave Hunter. Within 24 hours, Big Dave called me to inform me that he had located the bike and would have it at their store the following day for me to inspect. I arrived on a busy Saturday morning to find the bike cleaned, waxed, glistening and prominently displayed at the entrance to their store with a group of people circling it in admiration. Thirty-five minutes later I was the proud owner of a new Harley! Bayside Harley is a great dealership. As they did on the Saturday I arrived, they regularly host barbecues and other events for worthy causes. These events not only help worthy causes but also help foster a warm and inviting atmosphere that create a family like environment. All of their employees are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Big Dave Hunter and Sales Manager Adam Bonvicini are my new heroes. I wanted a hard to find bike, and they found that bike for me in short order. My only regret is that I will be living 650 miles away from the dealership that found me my dream bike. I strongly recommend Bayside Harley Davidson!

Fantastic experience: AWESOME DEALERSHIP! One of the largest in stock selection of Harleys I have ever seen. They also had Ducati motorcycles in stock as well. Very nice parts selection and a wide variety of other merchandise. Staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Not to crowded, somewhat busy but the ladies that assisted me went above and beyond with kindness, patience and doing EVERYTHING in their power to make sure I was a happy customer and trust me I'm a lot and mind you this was past closing time. So if they can remain smiling and most importantly patient after an hour or so with me then they are one thing for sure and 2 for certain, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING First time shopping at this particular location due to the other 2 being closed and they made my experience perfect. Thumbs up to Ally Collins, Gabby and oh my I can't remember the other young ladies name but she was just as great. They all were. Visit this location and I'm sure you will be above satisfied. Fantastic experience: Got my bike serviced this week with my prepaid service plan. The ladies in the service department made the whole experience delightful. The communication was excellent. They checked me in with no issues, knew what I was there for and inquired about anything else that was of concern. When contacted about completion they let me know what was done and cost. Great job Ladies, keep up the good work. Definitely made me feel like family upon my return.

Fantastic experience: Just purchases a new 2020 Forty Eight from Bayside Harley. I can't say enough good things about the experience. Fantastic experience: Bayside is an amazing place. I bought my first bike there last November. The whole process was quick and painless. Every time I go visit, everyone is super happy and fun to talk to. Doc, one of the salesmen, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and I love working with him. If you’re thinking of buying a bike from here, he is the guy to go to.
