Fantastic experience: Roger and Tanner got us set up with an 02 super glide today, couldn’t have ask for a better crew to take care of us today. Roger even got me hooked up with an extra set of gloves he had for the cold ride home. Hit these guys up whenever yall go out to pick up something new.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very helpful and kind. We went in to sign up for the Basic Rider Course. The first person we met was Stephanie. She was always upbeat, helpful and encouraging. During the course, our instructors Rich and Shaun, were very knowledgeable, encouraging, patient, and fun.

Fantastic experience: I took the New Rider Course w/ Office-SIRS Keith and Jack! They were excellent instructors, stressing both the FUN and the DANGER of riding a motorcycle. Their tips on riding helped me significantly improve my riding skills. As a shorter rider (5'0"), it was a bit difficult even on the shorter bikes provided, but I managed well enough. They use a 350cc bike for the course. Small for bigger folks and comfy for those of medium height. Bit tall for me. For the New Rider Course, if you do not pass your first time, you can retake it free of charge; I feel like people should know because you should not be discouraged when you can't learn a whole new skillset in one single weekend. Additionally, this is a mentally challenging course (for newbies) so be prepared! All in all, a great course to take for those who already ride and are only taking it for the license AND those who have never ridden before. The people I took the course with were also amazing. The riding community is a positive community (for the most part) and anyone interested should feel safe to join. Find the right community and the right people for you!

Fantastic experience: Mike Rómpala and Keith Stockdale were my instructors at Bowling Green Harley Davidson. They both have tons of experience and knowledge about riding motorcycles. I actually dreaded taking the course and have never had a license in over 40 years of riding. I kept renewing my permits. I really enjoyed learning and had a blast going through the course. All the dread left immediately after starting the class. I learned even more than I already knew with riding mini bikes as a kid to buying and riding my first Harley Davidson Motorcycle in 1984. I’m seriously thinking about taking the advanced class to learn even more. My body is 63 years old but my attitude is years younger and riding motorcycles is a love that I will continue as long as I can physically do so . It really gives you a fresh view and more confidence in taking the course and learning more about motorcycles and riding.

Fantastic experience: I bought a XG 750 street rod from HD in Bowling Green, Ky for my son and it was a great experience. I’d like to thank Roger for his help and support in purchasing the bike. He worked diligently to make sure we were approved and that we were able to ride out of there with the bike. I also want to thank everyone there for their assistance in the process. Myself and my son felt very comfortable while waiting and enjoyed talking with everyone there. We will be returning to purchase a bigger bike soon as we learn more and feel more confident in riding. Thanks to everyone there for helping us and for the opportunity to join the HD community.

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful and amazing place for me as I had my experience with motorcycles for the first time not only did the riding academy teach me to ride but instilled a passion to what to do so and learn more about not just riding a motorcycle but about the history and safety of of doing so. The course was a challenge for me as I never had been on a motorcycle before the class but with Herb Pelham who has a wealth of motorcycle experience and historical knowledge, excellent and experienced coaches like Keith and Mike who took their time to help address the bad habits we were forming before they stuck. They had amazing attention to detail to ensure a safety and fun learning experience and I look forward to future classes with Harley Davidson.

Fantastic experience: I just went through the Riding Academy's New Rider Course this past week. Herb Pelham (Riding Academy Commandant) was great. He did an awesome job explaining the layout of the course, and giving us the tour of the building. My instructors were Dave Wood and Rich Moothart. These 2 guys are awesome! While in the classroom they made it easy to understand and learn. While we were on the riding range they were excellent at providing the information of the skills practice we were learning and the same at demonstrating each skills practice. They didn't hesitate anytime to answer any questions that our class had. They were excellent at giving each one of us advice and tips on what to try to correct the mistakes that we were making. I definitely learned a lot. I definitely recommend this class if you are wanting to learn how to ride or if you just want to improve your riding skills.

Fantastic experience: I decided to take the MSF course. Dave Wood and Rich Moothart were my instructions /coaches. They did an amazing job explaining all the slide, informing us the history of where the Harleydavdson legacy started, and they demonstrated / informed every single practice very good. Everything was on point and I was very satisfied with it, especially by how professional, tactful, and motivational they are. I will recommend others to take this course if they want to learn how to ride a motorcycle for the first time.

Fantastic experience: Just want to give a shout out to some of the best guys in the business, I was in need of parts in a last min situation, when Quitten in parts made fast moves to get what I needed and arrangments for after hours pick up, so I could be off on vacation.,, another thanks to Tanner in finance for all his help in this situation. Fantastic experience: Took the riding academy beginner class with JR and Jack as instructors. They helped me to learn the fundamentals needed to be a safer driver. Enjoyed the course and highly recommend. Even if you are an experienced rider, I think there is a lot you can learn to improve your skills.

Fantastic experience: Took the Beginner Rider’s Course (BRC) with Doug and Telisha Williams as our instructors at HDBG. This course was phenomenal for learning new skills or enhancing basic/known skills. This is an extremely cost effective course for someone who’s either never picked up and rode a bike, or someone who’s wanting to hone and refresh. Loved it!!

Negative experience: I would like to share my experience with Harley Davidson of Bowling Green regarding the service and repairs performed on my motorcycle. I purchased my bike from this dealership and initially enjoyed my ownership experience. However, following an accident in April 2023, I encountered significant issues during the repair process. After the bike was towed to the dealership, I was informed multiple times that it was ready for pickup. Unfortunately, upon my first visit, I discovered dents on the back saddlebag, which was supposed to be replaced. Instead of a replacement, it appeared that the dents had been merely hammered out, resulting in further damage. Additionally, I noticed burn marks on the motor casings that were not present prior to the accident. When I raised this concern with the service manager, Shawn, he did not assess the damage and indicated that there was no proof it occurred during the incident, which I found disheartening. While he eventually agreed to address some of the concerns, the repairs were incomplete. He fixed one casing but declined to address the others, citing financial concerns rather than pursuing a proper claim. Further inspection revealed rust on the frame and evidence of structural damage. While this was reported, the dealership’s response was to allow the insurance company to determine the repair. They negotiated to straighten the frame and apply paint to mask the rust, rather than replacing the frame, which is now a safety concern. It appears this decision was reached to avoid appropriately deeming the bike a total loss. This ongoing situation has left me feeling frustrated and concerned for my safety on this motorcycle. My experience with the dealership's service department has been disappointing, and I hope this review provides insight into my situation for future customers.

Fantastic experience: The Riding Academy was a unique experience where my classmates and I had the opportunity to learn how to ride a motorcycle. Catherine and David Wood were patient and thorough instructors who guided us through the process safely.

Fantastic experience: I took the beginner skills class in the riding academy and it was a load of fun. It was easy to understand Catherine and David Wood who demonstrated everything and made sure everyone understood the assignment before following through with practicing. It was a friendly environment, that has all skill levels of riders, everyone is treated equally and everyone is given the amount of attention needed to succeed. I will definitely be coming back to take the advanced course when I get a few miles under my belt.

Fantastic experience: They had great facility for riding academy, our instructors David and Catherine Wood were awesome at what they did.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in Harley of Bowling Green . We purchased a 2001 Road King in June . It was checked out by the mechanic before we left and he said it was good to go . It made it 2 miles down the interstate and started blowing oil . Turned around and took it back . They said oh , it’s got to warm up or it does that because that’s the type of bike it is . It has been taken back there 3 more times . The second time they said it was fixed . Made it home and it did it again . The 3 rd time they said it was fixed and it did it again . We were then told to ride it until it blows up and they would fix it . Well sure enough it blew up . They had it two months and gave us the run around about it the whole time ; oh it will be ready in a few days , next Monday, then next Friday , then they weren't going to fix it at all . So we contacted the attorney general and got him involved. They decided they would half way fix it and tell us it was ready . We picked it up and guess what , it is back firing, not running right at all and they left bolts and screws out of it . They still didn’t fix the speed ometer and they didn’t fix the issues it had from the beginning either . They are not very honest or trust worthy. They should not only stand behind their product but also their word . I was looking to purchase a trike from them , and because of the way they did on the Riad King , I wouldn’t buy a stick of bubble gum from them.

Negative experience: Financial department great work but the on the delivery day bike was dirty and need to be cleaned and detailed and was even wiped off bike was dropped off outside and party and didn't even get to ring to bell so disappointed at the group of sales people there

Fantastic experience: I came here as a brand new rider, my experience started with basically no knowledge. As soon as I signed up for the course, I spoke with Herb and he explained what I should be expecting. Before starting the actual course, Nadia also assisted me with the jumpstart and helped me feel more confident in starting. When starting the course, the instructors Keith and Seth were amazing with demonstrating and breaking down each exercise. I also appreciate they helped with one on one feedback throughout the course and pointed out techniques that would help me improve. They built up my confidence and made the experience as a whole enjoyable and fun. I would recommend the whole experience to anyone.

The thoroughness of the dealership in the delivery of my bike was outstanding. Steve, the tech that explained the new controls and other changes on the new bike was outstanding. The whole deal was done by phone and a few days later I went in signed the paperwork and left with a great bike. Everyone I spoke with at the dealership was very nice. Fantastic experience: I recently completed the 3-day MSF Basic Riders course and was impressed with how Kim Thompson and Rich Moothart instructed the course. I couldn't have asked for better instructors! I came to the course on day 1 with little to no motorcycle experience, struggling to put the bike in neutral to confidently riding the next day. My favorite part was day 3, listening to Herb Pelham's stories and extensive Harley Davidson history while drooling over the vast selection of motorcycles during the dealership tour. Thank you Kim, Rich, Herb, and Jim for helping me on the saddle! I will be using the skills I gained for many years to come. If you're a new rider, I HIGHLY recommend doing it once, and doing it right by taking the Basic Riding Course.

Fantastic experience: Enjoyed the basic riding academy training. Now I can say I know how to ride a motorcycle and have the basics in case I ever want to get one! The classroom work was a bit boring, but the work out on the bike was truly a blast!
