Positive experience: I am now a proud member of the CDL COMMUNITY with tanker doubles and hazmat endorsements of which I give many thanks to the team of people at 160 Driving Academy. They showed me the support and encouragement to get this done in a timely manner. From the classroom to the driving range I now have what it takes to be a successful driver.

Although there were frustrating times throughout my yard training, I never felt as if giving up was an option. Thank you for helping me get my CDL! If you don’t have tough skin, and can’t take jokes or constructive criticism, then find something else to do.

Different styles of teaching, but out come was the same. Only negative thing I can say is in my experience, too many people so wait time to get a turn can be rather long. Negative experience: Hold on to your steering wheels, folks, because my CDL training experience at 160 Driving Academy was a real comedy of inefficiency! Picture this: knowledgeable trainers with the power to impress, but a training course that could put a sloth to shame. 160 hours!? It all started with a lack of organization and structure that made me question if the course was designed by a confused GPS. We zigzagged through topics without any clear direction, leaving us more puzzled than a GPS without satellite signal. It was like playing a game of CDL training bingo, but without a winning card. And let's not forget the practical training—or should I say, the lack thereof. It was as if they handed us a toy steering wheel and expected us to magically become road warriors. I mean, come on, how can you expect us to master the art of trucking without sufficient hands-on experience? There’s just too many students at any one time to make things work. Oh, but the laughs didn't stop there! The administrative staff seemed to be on their own comedy tour, completely oblivious to the concept of timely communication. They were like elusive unicorns, only appearing when they felt like it, leaving us in a state of confusion and frustration. All in all, if you're looking for a comedy show disguised as CDL training, 160 Driving Academy might just be the ticket. But if you want a training program that's efficient, structured, and takes your dreams of becoming a skilled trucker seriously, I suggest looking elsewhere. Save your laughter for the stand-up comedians, not for your CDL training experience!

Fantastic experience: This school gave me opportuinty to prove that I can do and push myself to the limit. Instructor, Gerald, I love you ..brethren for staying on me and helping me with that 90...you the best, Instructor Gary..you help alot mentally like a big brother, Rick. big uncle, I appreciated your tuffest on not letting me slack on being 1 minute late,and Kellly for being detail on things when I first got to the yard. My most love also go out for Branch Manager ,Suresh Uttamchandani, for giving me the chance in this program and talking to my blood uncle who speaks with a strong Jamaican accent,my family thanks 160 Driving Academy..M.B.

Fantastic experience: I recommend 160 driving academy to anyone wanting to get their CDL quickly with no nonsense! It was the best investment I’ve ever made. The Oak Creek branch manager, Suresh Uttamchandani, was phenomenal. He made the registration process simple and easy. He was extremely efficient, as I literally came to the branch on a Thursday and started the following Monday. He worked with me along the way and provided ample support for any issue I was having. He really went above and beyond to make sure I graduated and had a positive experience. Likewise, the trainers in the yard were very professional, proficient, and knowledgeable. Angel, Gerald, Lawrence, Rick, and Louis in particular are the best in the industry. These guys have decades of experience under their belt and an excellent attitude and temperament that made it easy for me to learn. Under their guidance, I cultivated the skills necessary to pass my exam on my first try. Most importantly, the yard manager, Jennifer, was extremely helpful and her impressive leadership really made a difference. She not only worked hard at keeping the yard running efficiently but also provided insightful training and knowledge. I am very thankful to the staff at 160 for providing a 5-star experience. It was worth every penny!

Fantastic experience: 160 Driving Academy has truly CHANGED MY LIFE. I enrolled looking for guides for a brighter future but have found much more. I have found a family. From my branch manager Suresh to my Instructors, each individual took me under their wing and ensured me that they would do all in their power to make sure I successfully obtained my CDL. It was an honor to be amongst an amazing group of people with all types of backgrounds and experience and I cannot thank them enough. Frank, the yard manager lit a fire of passion in me from day 1 of orientation in the yard. He was like my drill sergeant, a constant reminder of why I decided to drive a truck. Lawrence, put me into focus to always keep going but never burn myself out. James helped me give my in-cab inspection a flow which was not only vital for my test but for my career. Luis kept me calm and leveled while doing maneuvers. Driving a truck can be very intimidating when you have never driven anything remotely that big but his encouragement always gave me confidence. Tony was an excellent instructor on the road. He made me “see” the road instead of just driving it and that opened a new world for me. Parish was exceptional when it came to driving one on one. He tested me in every way because he knew I was capable which also gave me more comfort. Russel kept me sharpe in all aspects of knowing my truck. He was very by-the-book which was great because he made sure that I always knew the right way of how things went. Of all the instructors at 160, Gerald was by far the one I owe the most thanks to. I can honestly admit if it were not for Gerald I would not have passed. Since the very first day we met on the yard he made sure I would be not only a good driver but a great one. He brought me through the “school of hard knocks” and because of his guidance I was a success and will continue to be throughout my career. I highly recommend anyone thinking about pursuing a career in the trucking industry to enroll in 160 driving academy. It will change your life as it has changed mine.

Gerald, James, Lawrence, Paris and Louis are the guys I worked with the most! Charlie kept me on point with the road lol.They kept me motivated and helped a lot! Made life long friends and memories! Fantastic experience: Usually I don't leave reviews, this school when I started it used to frustrate me a lot because it was not very good, I was about to quit, but I kept coming, and every day they were improving, to the point that you have an instructor for each exam preparation, these guys They have improved a lot and for me personally right now (June 2021) they must be very close to being one of the best CDL schools that exist in Wisconsin. To thank all those instructors who dedicated so many hours of their work under the sun, to teach me why I had to turn to one side or the other and not only tell me to turn right or left, also thank the lady who works in Oak Creek for her attention and nice treatment, to this day I recommend 100% this school, especially grateful to Frank, Nick, Charlie and all the others who worked with me for 160 hours.

Fantastic experience: I had attended the 160 Driving academy and I have nothing but excellent things to say about it! Agata was excellent at the oak creek office with helping me get everything set up! The instructors were in my opinion the best! They made sure you understood what you were doing and knew how to help you if you were struggling! The teaching methods they used work and as a result I passed my tests with the knowledge they helped me gain! I highly recommend 160 driving academy to get your CDL!

Fantastic experience: The branch manager, Agata, was super helpful throughout the whole process! She really wants you to succeed. The instructors at the yard, for the most part, were helpful as well. Jack, Jim, Frank and Tim are great people and really help you learn from your mistakes.

Recommended to anyone especially going out of pocket because it’s the lowest pricing around. And work with me as far as financing the payments.

Fantastic experience: I had a lot of fun going to this school. I got to know all of the driving instructors but the main one I worked with goes by the name Tim. Great guy, great teacher and this place makes you want to go further. Great communication among everyone and of course who could forget Agatha, she's kept me in the loop of anything that would have changed and information I need. This is a great place to learn how to drive a commercial vehicle. Highly recommend learning here
