Pleasant Auto School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: This school helped my daughter out tremendously this was the second school the first one was Henry's Auto School in Everett.I’ll just keep it simple without details and just say it was a disaster! Pleasant auto took the time and patience and taught my daughter how to drive correctly and what to expect on her test. She passed on her first try! Thank you pleasant auto for all your help
Fantastic experience: amazing instructor , highly recommend
Negative experience: No parking space available . Negative communication, rude , unprofessional staff . This business aggressively takes residents parking spots and block the parking lot for customers and residents . Unsafe to park a car in this building .
Fantastic experience: Amazing auto school very patient with there students, thank you Loui and Paul !!!
Fantastic experience: Amazing auto school very patient with there students and prepares you in every way for the road test. Louie a driving instructor was very informative and did his job amazing would recommend everyone to come to this auto school 10/10 will tell everyone about it this awesome driving school
Fantastic experience: They are the best !
Fantastic experience: They really know how to make you pass your road test. They give you an excellent personalized service in order to make you confident.
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this driving school. The instructors really teach your child how to safely drive. The staff is wonderful and on top of everything. I have had bad experiences with other schools. I just sent my son to this one. They were remarkable and top notch!!!! Thank you Joe!
Fantastic experience: Anyone looking to get their license or need to brush up on Driving skills look no further So professional and Bobbi receptionist goes out of her way to book classes around your schedule. The instructor's all work together always punctual and they all give positive feedback They DONT waste your time and especially moneyA HUGE THANK YOU TO EDDY,BILLY AND LOUIE...WE DID IT THANK YOU SO SO MUCH
Fantastic experience: Great staff, with fast road booking, legit passed my drivers test after all my courses in one
Negative experience: A bunch of scamming liars, one of there student drivers hit my car then old guy instructor lied to insurance saying I hit them, when I called them to ask why they’re lying the lady who answered started yelling and arguing with me.. so unprofessional, luckily I lawyered up!
Positive experience: Took a few driving lessons here and it went by smooth. The instructors are very nice and helpful also the receptionist is phenomenal. This is a good school I would recommend this to anyone trying to get their license.
Fantastic experience: This is a very good school. There very organized and it’s a good environment. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to pursue their license
Negative experience: I almost never write reviews of past bad experiences, but this is one that is in need of a say… Back in the fall of 2018, Chelsea High School was providing Pleasant Auto School for both classroom and road lessons for the price of $500. The class portion went very well, the instructor was extremely nice and provided us with basic knowledge when it comes to operating a vehicle. Anyways, fast forward 2 months when it was time for our road lessons… this is when the nightmare of this establishment began. I was 17 at the time and I really wanted to take my 12 road lessons as close to each other as possible. Just when I thought this was going to be an easy process…boy was I wrong. Like many past reviews, yes, it was nearly impossible to get in contact with anyone at the front desk (while calling every single day), and the one magical time I did get in touch with someone, the lady seemed to not care about me trying to schedule road lessons THAT HAVE BEEN ALREADY PAID FOR! Therefore, I only received 1 road lesson within a 3 month period. Road lessons were months apart and there was not one inkling of effort to have them done sooner. Once I turned 18, I completely dropped this course. I might as well threw the $500 out the window. (Non Refundable) I joined Sonia’s Driving School in East Boston to schedule my road test right away, I passed on my first try and that was the end… I finally received my license. MAIN TAKEAWAY IS DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! You might as well wait until you’re 18 while having a family member teach you how to drive for practice (if possible) so you can go straight for the road test - this will save you months of waiting for road lessons from this place.
Negative experience: If you would like to get your license, DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I truly don’t know how they are still in business. The RMV should really shut them down. They don’t care about getting back to you after leaving messages etc. Denise is extremely rude!! It took my son a year to complete 12 hours of his required road lessons and after all that, they told him he had to wait 6-8 weeks for a road test. I then transferred him out to Henry's Auto School in Everett. They got him a app right away. I did file a complaint to the RMV.
Negative experience: The only good thing that this school has are the instructors, they are really nice people and help me with my driving. But I didn’t have enough classes, I started in August of 2019 and it was February of 2021 and haven’t finish my 12 required classes, they said that those classes expired, but how I was suppose to not let my classes expired when they didn’t even answer my calls, or even the office was close. And when they answer me I could only schedule 1 class (if they had). They didn’t give me the rest because it expired, but they gave me a last class to see if I was prepare for my road test. Thus, I try that this school could take me to my road test, When I had my “last class”, and the instructor said that I had to do my own appointment in Wilmington MA, so I could call to this school pay so they could take me. I did what the instructor say, but the school never answer me, which I’m great full for because I would lost $180 to just take me there. Don’t waste your time and money here!
Negative experience: Finished my online classes mid october and have called to schedule lessons every day since and have gotten no answer, so as everyone i know is able to drive, 5 months later and still not one answer calling every day (trying to call during their ridiculous hours for a “school”). Better off waiting till im 18 to just take my test.
Negative experience: They avoid talking to you over the phone or through email . Lady in the office is very unprofessional , unorganized and rude. Instractors are good but to bad that they are the part of this managenent group
Negative experience: Service sucks, definitely don’t recommend
Negative experience: This place is trash. They avoid talking to you over the phone or through email and are very very lazy. I’ve been waiting three plus months for my drivers test and nothing. The people who work there are lady’s new avoid you. It’s overpriced for the months of waiting. Never go here.
Negative experience: They can’t even answer the phone. Such a scam
Negative experience: Not good place at all. My first class was at the beginning of the summer and now it’s february and it took me this whole time jusy to finish. Multiple times i would have to wait weeks at a time just dor someone to answer the phone. And They gave me lessons i’ve done before twice. Completely wasting the hour od class you can get your hands on a month. I was told i havw 8 weeks for my road test appointment now it’s moved to june?
Negative experience: I started Drivers Ed September of 2019. It is now February 2021 and I have only completed 7 out of 12 classes. My permit is going to expire in 6 months. I have called these people 30 times today and not one answer. And its like this EVERYDAY. The driving instructors are very nice. Too bad whoever the hell stays at the front test that cant even have common decency to pick up the phone until at least one month later. I do not recommend doing school here. Save your time and money please
Negative experience: They never answer the phone & they never have lessons available.
Negative experience: TERRIBLE One stars is a gross understatement. This is the worst auto-school in history. The Instructors are great and teach it very well. However, FROM BOOKING, TO COMMUNICATION, THEY ARE THE BIGGEST SCAM I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO! The do not answer, nor do they call back. They always try and assert blame. They make the RMV look like Saints. Please, PLEASE, do not make the same mistake I did. Please. Save your time, and your money. Not to mention they wasted Three (3 ) hours of my day, when I scheduled a road test and I get there and the doofuses messed up. Please, from a concerned citizen, do NOT repeat my mistake.
Negative experience: This place is awful. They steal all your money and don’t have any road lessons available ever. I got my permit in December and STILL have a road lesson left. This place is god awful don’t come here.
Negative experience: This is NOT at all a driving school, Waste of time, waste of money and just a waste of business. How is the Better Business Bureau allowing this... ***I only give them one star because google doesn’t allowed less but they really deserve none. DO NOT RECOMMEND. !!!!!!!
Negative experience: I only give them one star because google doesnt allowed less but they really deserve none. DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH THESE PEOPOLE! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY IN EXCHANGE FOR NOTHING YOU'LL BE LUCKY IF YOU GET ONE OR TWO DRIVING LESSONS OUT OF 12. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE ...... I PAID THE COURSE IN FULL FOR MY DAUGHTER AND ONLY GOT A FEW IN ROOM CLASSES AND ONE DRIVING LESSON IN 8 MONTHS !!!!SIMPLY RIDICULOUS....
Fantastic experience: We have three kids. Our first went through Pleasant and we had a great experience. They were professional and helpful and friendly. When it came time for the road test our kid was prepared. We paid the extra fee to have Pleasant pick them up, allow them to drive for an hour, and then go take their test. We were informed about the whole process - even that we had to pay the registry directly for the road test fee. Our second kid went to Medford Auto. The instruction was fine but when it came time for the road test, we were not informed about their process and it delayed her getting her license by a few weeks. By the time our last kid was ready to drive, we returned to Pleasant. So glad we did. Even during pandemic they did everything they could to keep folks safe and follow state protocol. We are now waiting a date for a road test. Would totally recommend this local business. So valuable. No need for those bigger chain driving schools. Keep it simple and safe! Pleasant drivers ARE better drivers!!
Fantastic experience: I signed up my 16 year old daughter for driver's ed, observations and road lessons at Pleasant Auto. Alicia is a pleasure to work with. She is super polite and very accommodating as I had to keep rescheduling due to my daughter's school and activities schedule. My daughter's first driving lesson went really well. She did not feel rushed, stressed, or frustrated by the instructor. This is a busy school so plan accordingly.
Negative experience: This school so absolutely the worse. They took forever giving me my road lessons and on top they lied when I was going to take my road test. The receptionist was the rudest and never answers the phone and had the audacity to say I was harassing her when she gave attitude for false information. Worse school ever do not attend.
Fantastic experience: My teacher Mark was a god amongst men, and a true thot destroyer. He was super composed when one of the other people in my class flipped out on him and hardly raised his voice. Not only was he a great teacher, but a comic genius, not one class went by where i didn't at least chuckle. great guy, and a great teacher as well.
Negative experience: So Last year I used pleasant auto school. The person who gave me lessons was an awesome guy ( forgot his name) he was great but I would not advise you to use them ! It;s not that they don;t teach you well they do but the problem is their booking ! their lessons are far apart I had like one lesson a month and I finished in June and they didn;t even get me a road test till November! I had no other car to use so by the time I had a road test I had been month n months not driving! This place sucks! Don;t waste your money! FYI I failed the road test! I admit I probably need more driving skills and i'm ok with that! I won't act like it was completely a false decision on my road test but I will say I did not have a chance with pleasant auto school nor did the state police officer in Lynn even give me half a chance! I would never recommend anyone to do their road test in Lynn! They fail everyone! They are angry people! You will be upset if you waste your money in lynn! JS
Negative experience: Don't go here first of all. The instructors are rude. The material they teach isn't even the driver's manual. When I tried to schedule driving lessons they only scheduled me to hours 6pm+ when they clearly knew I had a permit and could not drive past sunset. They're not even pleasant, they're trash auto schools and a waste of money.
Negative experience: Very rude and incompetent mess of morons. I payed in advance for 6 lessons and barely got 3, and was rushed into my final test which I failed because I learned nothing from the terrible instructors who can barely teach you anything they are supposed and just waste your time for an hour. And hope to god you never have to call because the secretary is horrible, they either never pick up or completely ignore you and never call you back. They're also very expensive for the garbage service they provide
Negative experience: the worst school ever avoid this school they do not keep track of anything
