Fantastic experience: My driving test today with Mr. James Lewis went very well. The office secretary was professional and helped me set the driving test up, even with blocks in the way. He was very respectful and told me what I needed to correct. I definitely recommend for the price. The parent taught program with ADS was $70, and I only paid $75 for the drivers test scheduling. I will say it’s cheaper than the school teaching you for the $400 package.

Negative experience: I would never send anyone to the one on Altamesa to get a drive time was terrible had to call several times took almost a year had to go get another permit because they took so long to do the drive time the first one expired poor customer service had to call the supervisor many times.

Negative experience: Whomever answered the phone has NO BUSINESS ANSWERING THE PHONE!! Wowza, felt like I was calling a bar on the backside of Mnt Nowhere. Be professional, people - these are our babies trying to learn to drive!!!!

Negative experience: They took my money and then canceled the appointment with no refund for two months till now.

Negative experience: This school has been horrible. From the extremely racist driving instructor spouting off inappropriate comments, to not being able to schedule classes often, to being given incorrectly filled out forms in the sealed envelope for the dmv! Do not recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Amazing people. The driving instructor was very helpful with our new adult driver. I give them 5*****. Thank you! We will be bringing our daughter there in the near future for driving lessons. 2nd child to attend ADS and still love it! New Receptionist/Scheduler, Ariana is the Best! FINALLY got someone on top of their game

Negative experience: I'm having the same issue with scheduling drive times. Was told the South Arlington location has one driving instructor that works weekends only. They suggested that I could transfer my son to the school in North Arlington, even called and verified they have enough spots. I agreed, but found it is out of the way and looking at their google reviews, not sure I want him to go there. I wonder if we can get a refund for the driving portion since they cannot accommodate the students? Plus, in this day and age, they should have drive times scheduled on line like Mansfield Driving Adademy. WIsh I'd of signed up my son there instead.

Negative experience: Don't use Austin Driving School. We paid for phase 1&2 which is the classroom learning and driving lessons. We easily scheduled for classroom learning but it's seemingly difficult to schedule driving lessons. Been attempting to schedule lessons for over a month and was just told that we may want to just do parent taught as they can't handle the amount of people they took money from.

Fantastic experience: Mr.Mitchell is an Amazing teacher that will make sitting in the 2 hour class worth it. Eveyone is kind and as long as you pay attention its easy to understand.

Negative experience: I would have give 0 stars but it wouldn’t let me. Worse place to every use no communication. My daughter stared driver Ed on Aug 2021 it is now March of 2022. All they have is Excuses and no real solution. They don’t care and laugh at you. I understand Understaffed but they have no teachers to teach. Ever time I call for drive time all the tell me is it was booked my daughter only got maybe 2 out of 7 days needed

Fantastic experience: Miss Cheryl is absolutely an angel! She goes above and beyond to help people out. I went here back in 1997 and have always recommended this place bc of the staff and service they provide.

Fantastic experience: My daughter took her driving test with Austin Driving School off Little Rd. in Arlington and she had the best experience. Jim, her instructor, put her at ease immediately and made positive, encouraging comments during the test. He was so nice. Just the kind of person you hope administers your child's driver test.

Negative experience: I called to simply inquire about the details for my teenage daughter attending the driving school. I was immediately put on hold the first call and then the lady came back on started talking to someone else and hung up the phone in my face. You guy's just lost my business completely rude and unprofessional.

Negative experience: VERY difficult to get drive time schedule, had to transfer schools. Often voicemail is turned off, calls rarely returned, very poor communication. If your going to use Austin Driving I would use the North Arlington location.

Fantastic experience: My wife took her driving test at 4004 Little Rd in Arlington. Staff was great, instructor was so friendly and professional! I highly recommend that location!

Negative experience: Waste of time and money. Very unprofessional.

Negative experience: The teachers were mean and rude, it's a waste of money they don't even teach you how to do anything they expect you to already know how to drive.

Negative experience: Janet is very condescending and treats people very badly if you have questions. She's not helpful and doesn't have any customer service skills. Don't waste your time or money!!!!!!

Negative experience: Save yourself much grief and do not ever use this place! I cannot tell you how many times they have screwed up our paperwork and a year later we still do not have a drivers license for our teenager! Even though he did everything he needed to do and passed his tests apparently they cannot manage to put the proper paperwork in the sealed envelope that a person has to take to the DMV to get the drivers license. My husband even spoke to the so-called person in charge and she gave him wrong information. I am beyond frustrated! And we paid them for all of this...

Negative experience: Called and asked a simple question about the FREE Pickup offered as listed on thier website. Who ever answers the phone needs to truly work on their customer service.

Fantastic experience: Amazing instructor and extremely respectable. They made my driving test a fun and memorable experience! Loved the instructor who was so kind and guided me. TAKE YOUR ROAD TEST HERE... cheapest in town and they offer their cars as well!

Negative experience: I took the drivers defense class last year and the old man was very rude and made me very uncomfortable he literally yelled at me instead of trying to help me understand what I was doing wrong and I didn’t finish my time with him because I felt very disrespected I will never go here again

Negative experience: Organization is truly lacking and for SUMMER they often have ONE car available for lessons. Not great about scheduling drive times, in fact terrible. Refunds are offered but it is hard as heck to get one! Take your money to Sears or better yet? Mansfield Driving Academy. This place is not well run AT ALL.

Negative experience: Please Don't Sigh Your Teenager at this place they are very unorganized, They have big classes for the Drivers but once drivers are Needing to Get the Drive times they are terrible you have to keep calling and when they finally respond they still can't put you on a list it's terrible and it's VERY FRUSTRATING because he started in January and we are now in September and he's still not doneVery Angry and Frustrated!!! Don't waste your money.

Positive experience: Update: I was given another number to call. 1 instructor was patient, the other was not. But my son was able to get his license. Seems they have a fax machine on a lot. No voice mail to leave a message. There is a no show fee. But can't reach anyone to say we can't be there.
