Fantastic experience: Great school

Positive experience: This school is full of instructors who obviously care about the success of their students. They're good people and they have a lot of knowledge and experience to Share. Couple of complaints, though. Too many students on the yard meant there were many days (maybe between a third and a half?) where we would only get to practice one maneuver, or sometimes no maneuvers, or we wouldn't get to drive on the road either. And I felt like we practiced for the test without a lot of explanation how to translate those skills off the yard. My only other complaint is with job placement. They promote a half dozen mega companies and recommend google for anything else. I started with one of those companies and am receiving the most inhuman degrading treatment I have ever witnessed from a company in any industry, but was encouraged to stay anyway by my school "for the experience." I suspect kickbacks... That said, I did get my CDL and I'm grateful to those who helped me

Fantastic experience: Just Graduated from here, with my Class A Great school! I came in with no experience in anything. The instructors were great with everything!! Charlie, Daniel, Albert, David, Austin, Curtis, and Rodney! are all good at what they do and very knowledgeable. The upstairs staff were very friendly, and helpful with everything. Thank you United trucking school! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get there Class A or B!

Negative experience: This is not a school or institution. It is a prison. We have no freedom here as adults. We are questioned if we have to leave for emergencies as if we are kids. The field Marshall gets mad if we sit down. So while standing in the hot sun drained of energy, we can't bring a chair out there either. They treat us as prisoners I do not recommend to anyone!!!!

Positive experience: Just graduated from this school, overall the school is great, although if you plan on going be prepared to stand out on the field all day for about 1-2 times on the truck per day. They have some great instructors, and overall the school is great but would loved to have had more time in the trucks for the amount of money spent.

Fantastic experience: Great school, in and out in 4 weeks with my cdl's. First week is classroom training to get you prepared to go get your permit, then 3 weeks of on road driving, and out on the field working on backing maneuvers. Office staff are very helpful, and all the instructors have their own different ways to teach, but pay attention and learn from each of them to combine it all together. Listen, and you will have your cdl's in just a few short weeks.

Fantastic experience: Excellent school and instructors . Pay attention and not be distracted, you will have a excellent and fun time their . Come to the school and be ready to learn and be attentive . Great school and highly recommend !!!

Fantastic experience: Good school! let me give you an honest review. If I had to do it again I would. Its a limited amount of time to soak up testing information, backing maneuvers, pre trip, and such... but if you stick around, show up and listen to the instructors, read your materials, and work with fellow students, you can pass.

Fantastic experience: I can't speak for or against other schools but I'm ecstatic I chose this school! The instructors genuinely WANT to educate you and not just because it's their job. Mr Johnny never stops trying to teach you something. He has a talent for putting you in a comfort zone and you can tell he really enjoys his job. The upstairs administration is awesome as well. ATTEND this school! There's a reason this school is as popular as it is.

Positive experience: They have great instructors except two, these two instructors are professional drivers and have good informations but they don’t have an instructor attitude. the school teach you very good if you want to. they answer all the questions. The only thing about the school generally, they need to be more organized.

Negative experience: This schools is a joke, this disrespectful the student and they have too much people you did not learn anything for 18 days Just waste of money I recommended do’n go to in this school!! they told you you have test just waste of money

Positive experience: Its truck driver boot camp. It can be hard and tough if you are learning these skills for the first time. School is from 7am -4:30. Sometimes i fall asleep as soon as I get home . If you are doing well you will probably give them 5 stars and if not maybe a little less but for the most part they are all right. Not at all saying improvements could not be made. If you are considering your CDL'S good luck.

Fantastic experience: Appreciative of all the staff and trainers. Each instructor has their own technique of teaching. I personally did weekend classes. Their patient and understanding and a great school to go to. Thanks yall. There is plenty of opportunity and tools to learn.

Fantastic experience: I went through this program about a month ago, and I do not have anything negative to say about it. I have been with my trainer at my new trucking company job for a couple weeks now and needless to say he is impressed with the skills that I'm applying that I learned at United. I recommend United Truck Driving School to anybody, regardless prior experience with driving. During my time there I was learning all the time and at no point did I feel unsafe or that my opinions did not matter. The staff there was professional, polite and friendly. The other students that were there were eager to help out each other. The schedule was very fair and at no point did I feel rushed to complete maneuvers or be on time for anything. During my time there I was able to successfully complete the school and get my commercial driver's license in the time frame that was laid out before me during admission to the school. The trucking company that I ended up getting hired on to after completing the school was very pleased that I chose United as my truck driving school as they have sent people there in the past and have had very good results. Thanks again United, you have given me the keys for me to take my life in a more positive direction.

Fantastic experience: The instructors are Great! It is up to you to take the wisdom they share with you and apply it. They are passionate about what they do, and willing to give all the knowledge they have from their experience as drivers to give you the best chance of coming out as a Safe and responsible professional driver. It is what you make it, if you apply yourself you will succeed! If you don't apply yourself that is on you, you make your own future. I would recommend them to everyone.

Fantastic experience: WOW.....Awesome school....patient and knowledgeable teachers....passed my state test with a 95....who would have guessed that life begins at 50....cant wait to hit the Highway...the skies the limit...

Fantastic experience: Great learning experience. Instructors were very knowledgeable and extremely patient with the students that had difficulty learning to shift a 10 speed. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing to get their class a or b.

Fantastic experience: Just graduated a few days ago. Great school to attend with knowledgeable instructors. Put in the work and keep a positive mindset and you won’t have a problem and will get positive results. Whoever has a complaint more than likely just didn’t want to put in the needed effort to pass. It’s all about what you make it and that applies to anything in life!

Positive experience: Instructors were great. Equipment had mechanical issues which took away from driving skills.

Negative experience: This is the worst school. The instructors are not real instructors. They are just truck drivers thrown in to “teach”. They yell & scream at you, very impatient and they smell. I wouldn’t send my dog here even if he could attend for free. I heard one of them refer to black people as colored several times. I grew up in a mixed community and nobody calls black people colored. I didn’t speak up because I was afraid it would effect my testing since it’s on site testing. They will tell you anything to get u enrolled, but this school is trash. Yes, I finished and got my license, but I wish I would have paid more attention to reviews. Not a great experience & I do not recommend this school at all.

Fantastic experience: Awesome school so glad I choose United. All the instructors really want you to pass. They give you the confidence and knowledge you need to become a successful driver. Fantastic experience: One of the things that stands out about United Truck Driving School is their passion for excellence among the trainers; management; administration and placement departments. These people work as a team and want you to succeed. The first week of class training, our instructor, Drew, not only taught us the curriculum but inspired us about the profession. On the field and in driving the response of the trainers is to help you learn and to motivate you. They bring in great companies and they work with you to place you and are concerned about you. If you doubt this review go and meet with them. The sky is the limit with this school. You just have to have the motivation to succeed - they'll supply all the rest. A great experience. Go visit or talk to them. Well worth the investment.

Negative experience: this school is a joke ,save your money its a rip off

Fantastic experience: I love this school !! And whoever that guy is that wrote that disparaging remark about the owner Danny.. THAT GUY is a LIAR!!! That .. I will tell you the truth about Danny he called me personally and gave me words of encouragement ! I felt like I wasn't progressing fast enough and he told me personally that everybody goes through that and he's there for me and he's only a phone call away if I have any problems!! So if you have an owner like that ,need I say !!The staff is great The trainers want you to succeed.. Its all up to you and if you want it..I know I want it bad enough for my kids and for a future for them. AND MYSELF.

Negative experience: This place should be closed they bring to many students the same time they give 2 hours break which is I don’t need plus to money smoke brakes .and you don’t have enough time to play with the truck before you know it it will be a test time .when it comes to the test spastically they take advantage of you if you are Foreigner so they can change you another 1000 dollar in the top off 5000 even if you are real good very sad.

Positive experience: It's not good a school. especially an owner Dany he's disrespect the people

Fantastic experience: Great school, great staff. They take time to teach you the correct way. I came to the school with no knowledge at all on driving a tractor trailer. These fine instructors took the time to teach me. Thanks to all the staff for everything.

Negative experience: spoke with Danny, the director of operations. I have never been so disappointed in the way business is conducted. Assees and Elbows with these people. They only contract with mega carriers for tuition reimbursement that ends up screwing brand new drivers and won't consider going with a wholesome mid-size company that offers better pay and benefits than the six companies they contract with. Danny was EXTREMELY rude, condescending and disrespectful. I can not believe that anyone would deal with that on a business level

Fantastic experience: Just completed training for my Class A CDL at United Truck Driving School. I could not have asked for better, more devoted faculty and staff, which compels me to address a previous negative Google review alleging racism!?! I saw this review myself before attending the school, but found absolutely zero bigotry or anything of the sort at United, despite my class including members of multiple and varied ethnicities, some who spoke English better than others. My experience was that everybody respected and helped one another and we all had a good time together. Sure, we were all different, but we all had similar goals! Some of the staff are minorities as well, so I must seriously question ANY claims of racism against the folks who run this school. Every instructor there has a unique personality but each demonstrated a sincere willingness to help us learn - and I mean ALL of us, not just the ones who took to the concepts quickly. If a person is willing to LISTEN and do the work, he or she can succeed here . I highly recommend this school.

Negative experience: This is ridiculous.. the class is educational . But the teacher telling a student who is trying to get his education to better themself. Because he doesn't speak English.. he isn't "human".. seriously . I completely change my mind on going to this school RASICM is not acceptable . HOW COULD YOU LET SOMEONE TEACHER A CLASS WHO IS SO CLOSES MINDED ON DIFDERENT LEARNING AND EDUCATION SKILLS

Fantastic experience: The staff and instructors are very professional. This school will help you if show that you are interested in the school. This is a great school if you are interested in learning how to drive an 18 wheeler truck or a passenger bus. Don't hesitate to call if you are interested.
