Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience here! Katherine Kettner was my in class teacher and, my behind the wheel teacher. She does a phenomenal job at making sure you feel comfortable behind the wheel while still giving great feedback at the same time! I’m so glad i got to have her as my instructor and teacher!!

Fantastic experience: Let me get one thing straight, Mr. Lahaye is the best instructor ever. The only reason why I am a skillful driver is due to this man Mr. Lahaye. Bartlett Top Driver has many good instructors and they drop you off at home sometimes. I made sure all my appointments were with Mr. Lahaye. I hope you all consider registering for a class here. Trust me it’s a good place to learn driving and showcase your driving.

Fantastic experience: My son recently got his drivers license after taking the course through Top Driver. Can’t say much about many of the other drivers there as he only had a few once or twice but would highly recommend Mohammed. He had him for most of his lessons and he not only learned a ton from him but also really enjoyed lessons with him. My son was anxious about actual road lessons but Mohammed was always encouraging and patient. I highly recommend requesting him.

Fantastic experience: Great driving school, Richard was especially helpful during one of my recently scheduled drives at the Bartlett location. His patience and communication made it very easy for me to understand faults and what I needed to correct, as well as making the drive easier because I was comfortable. We also had a very clear discussion on at the end on what I need to work on, which was very helpful since I’m not too used to constructive confrontation. Very satisfied with my experience here and would recommend this location to anyone interested.

Fantastic experience: Rich was a very good instructor for my drive and he taught me a lot. He showed me a way to correctly turn and perform a three point turn in a way that no other instructor had done. He made the drive a very enjoyable experience and also instructional.

Negative experience: Too bad i didn't do my homework and read all the reviews !!!! People are telling the truth. You pay a lot of money for their classes and scheduling in vehicle class (driving) is a nightmare!!!! I cant believe they allow only 2 days a week with hours 12-1pm!!!! Most of the students are high-school kids, how in the world are they going to drive 12-1 pm please make me understand their concept. They are very strict about their timing - kids cant be late for the class- which i totally understand, yet the teacher finishes his class 15 minutes early kicking out the kids from the facility. Kids were waiting for their parents outside the building in the cold weather! If I could i would give them 0 stars. Very Disappointing!! EDIT: I received an email to call and schedule lessons anytime. Which i did and they told me I have to wait over a month - till January 12th to schedule in vehicle driving online! This school is a JOKE!!!!

Fantastic experience: This class is a MAJOR W!!! Mr Saadiq is one of the bots and I VERY MUCH enjoy his classes. I was unable to walk at a young age but when I saw Mr Saadiq I jumped up and gave him a standing ovation. A truly inspirational teacher!

Fantastic experience: Mr. Sawdeck is awesome easily the best instructor. His outfits are very dazzling and I inspire to be like him one day. He also has a major GYAT and I hope God blesses him one day. I only see him once a week but every time I see him it brightens my day! It’s like seeing a beautiful rose in a bed of thorns. His music taste is like no other his favorite rapper is Ice Spice and that’s a munch. His beard is so scrumptious I bet he wakes up in the middle of the night at finds gold fish in there and eats it which is TOTALLY AWESOME! ☺️ ❤️

Negative experience: DO NOT USE TOP DRIVERS, THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE, YOU WILL BE WASTING $500 DOLLERS WITH LOTS OF STRESS. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Top Driver requires customers to pay in full upfront and does not offer refunds. Once payment is made, customers are bound by the company's terms and conditions. We had difficulties securing appointments for in-car driving due to Top Driver's flawed system. As paying customers, we were expected to remember to register for upcoming classes every 2nd Monday of the month. We would stay up until past midnight just to register, but as soon as we logged in at 12:01AM, all the classes were fully booked. We found it hard to believe that all the classes could be booked in just one minute. Despite reaching out to customer service for assistance, we were met with poor attitudes and unhelpful advice to try again next month. We wasted seven months and our hard-earned money, but were unable to complete the course. It was not worth it. Due to the immense stress we experienced, we decided to switch to another driving school. However, we were informed that our son would need to start all over again, costing us an additional $400. We had been trying to schedule state-required drives for months with no luck. Fortunately, the new driving school was more accommodating and worked with us to schedule lessons. We now have a clear idea of when our son will have class. We strongly advise against using Top Driver as they are unreliable and will cause you to waste $500 with added stress. We recommend looking for another driving school instead.

Negative experience: They take your money and can’t provide services. We ended up having to drive to Crystal Lake location and or farther locations just to complete behind the wheel. Completely horrible experience. No regard for the inconvenience that this causes there customers. ZERO STARS SHOULD BE A OPTION

Negative experience: Avoid this driving school at all cost. My son completed his driving class back in November 2021. It’s November 2022 now (12 months!!!) and he’s still waiting to complete his In-Vehicle instruction. His in-vehicle appointments keep getting cancelled. It’s been cancelled 6 times now. Every time their excuse is that the driving instructor had an medical emergency. If they don’t have enough staff they should stop taking in new students until their previous students complete their in-vehicle driving instruction. Horrible company and customer service. They only care about getting your money and leaves you out to dry. Avoid at all cost. If you still go with them it’s on you. Don’t say i didn’t warn you.

Negative experience: Worst driving school ever. The scheduling process is a horror show, the workers are no help whats so ever. I definitely don’t recommend coming here.

Negative experience: Spare yourself some stress and save your money; do not enroll your child in Top Driver. We enrolled our daughter in the program, paying $650 for 30 hours of in class and 8 hours of behind the wheel lessons. The in class sessions were straightforward, but getting behind the wheel classes has been an absolute nightmare. They open up the calendar for booking, every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 12PM, allowing only 2 reservations per month for the following month, 15 days apart. If you sign in at 12:01, you will be guaranteed NO reservation. The instant you open the site, the classes are either all booked or unavailable. The chances of winning a lottery are better! When I called to complain, I was told that in order to find more times, I had to call every day to check for cancellations. So Top Driver expects that you drop everything to make calling them a priority. I was also told that they lost instructors due to the pandemic and new ones are in training. While I understand the difficulties this situation has created, Top Driver makes no effort to limit the number of students enrolled to match the availability of in-vehicle sessions. Why were we promised in vehicle classes knowing well that they could not provide us the service within the time frame? Now they want to charge us an extra $150 for any incomplete classes for no fault of ours. In my opinion this is a fraudulent business scamming busy parents and kids in the Bartlett area. I have asked a full refund on the in vehicle classes we were not able to complete due to unavailability of slots. If I am not reimbursed, I will not hesitate to report this place to the BBB. More to be updated pending the final outcome. Response to owner reply: The response by the owner below does not take responsibility for the shortcomings of their program. We would have been on track to complete the program if we were guaranteed 2 classes per month. We signed up starting September, and by December we should have had 8 classes in. For the month of December we found only one opening. We were able to sign up for only 3 classes till date. How do you suggest we would be able to get 5 more slots by the end of the year?

Negative experience: This is a terrible place to get training. We signed up for 6 driving classes and we have been trying since may to get appointments. They have no organization and expect us to keep trying on their website over and over again. I want out money back at this point. They are no help in actually schedule appointments and they have an expiration date on the appointments. Do not use this place. Who has time to log in every day to try to find an appointment? Terrible service overall. It's a scam in my mind.

Negative experience: i missed two classes, so i scheduled both the makeups. i attended both makeups in june & i just got an email saying that i missed a makeup for july 7th. i never scheduled a makeup class for july & the one i went to didn’t count as credit. i literally had to write my name on the attendance sheet because i had called the day of & the lady told me there was a class 3 session that day & i could come in for my makeup so my name wasn’t printed on the sheet. i basically wasted *two hours* of my day & wasted other peoples time having to have them drop me off & pick me up. i don’t even write reviews, but this really upset me because now i have to take another two hours out my day when i work two jobs & barely have time for that just to sit through a makeup class that i already did because it ‘isn’t in their records’.

Fantastic experience: Top Driver is a great place for teenagers to learn about and practice driving. The instructors are nice and knowledgeable. My son is currently attending the Top Driver at the Bartlett location. My daughter attended the same location last year. They have learned a lot. I am happy with them. I would recommend Top Driver to parents looking for a good and thorough driving school. And I would especially like to thank Anthony Rodriguez for being so helpful, understanding, and prompt with responding to my inquiries. Thank you Top Driver!!

Fantastic experience: My twins had a wonderful experience at Top Driver in Bartlett over the Summer. The instructors were friendly and professional. We had difficulty scheduling our twins for in-person driving instruction in November. My husband reached out to Jim Mihalovich Senior Director/General Manager. As a result of our experience and other students having similar scheduling issues,Top Driver reviewed their process and staffing. They found that their process had been affected by the pandemic. Wanting to provide the best customer experience, Top Driver adjusted their process. We are thankful for them listening to our concerns and for making the necessary changes. We would recommend Top Driver.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had Mr. S for all her drives and he did an excellent job teaching her how to drive. Very patient and enthusiastic. Most importantly, he was very professional and personable. Talked to me after every drive so we knew what to work on with her. I highly recommend this driving school and this particular location. I referred several friends to bring their teens here.

Negative experience: I would NOT RECOMMEND this driving school. What they promise and what they give you in return are two different things. They are dishonest and TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get. My daughter was ill and they refused to refund me the $40 that they charged me even after they were sent a doctors note as per their request. Also, the lessons NEVER were the full 2 hours. My daughters lessons were always cut by 10-15 minutes shorter. Please do yourself a favor and send your child elsewhere.

Negative experience: As a parent, I was not impressed. They taught my kid to drive to pass the test and not how to be a good driver. I would not recommend this driving school at all. 0 stars if I could.
