Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this driving school for people. I failed 2 times and did not have much time practice. However, after 3.5 hours behind the wheel course, I am so confident to take the road test and drive by myself (I passed in the 3rd time). Devin who is the instructor is so supportive and kind. He will prepare you everything to be safe on the road.

Fantastic experience: My son took his classroom driver’s education class from Central Lakes Driving School. The class was offered through Zoom. The course content was online and easily completed at his own pace during the Zoom classes. The staff were understanding and very quick to respond to communication. I highly recommend this school!

Negative experience: Extremely disrespectful idiots who run the class. Pat is a sexist, as i have had many kids go through and my one daughter failed because pat failed to pick her for a question. Vanessa once called a female a dumb-blonde in a class, completely humiliating her. I have no respect for these dumb peasants who run this establishment, as they are terrible, disrespectful morons who feserve the worst.

Fantastic experience: Professional, friendly, and just plain great! I've had three kids learn to drive with Central Lakes. My calls were returned and scheduling was easy and flexible around our schedules.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had taken drivers ed at another location but had not completed all her behind the wheel hours due to our move to the Alexandria area. This driving school took the time to verify the hours she had completed behind-the-wheel (I had lost the documents in the move) plus gave her a refresher, and got her back on track without completely starting over. Yes, sometimes it took a little time for a call to be returned, but perhaps 15-16 years old is a good time to teach our kids to be proactive rather than reactive, that life is not always instantaneous, and these things should be scheduled in advance. As another poster mentioned, he is in a car with someone else's child. Safety first!!

Negative experience: I am not sure why I keep returning here for my kid's behind the wheel training. It is absolutely a nightmare to contact them or schedule anything. Phone calls and messages are not returned and office hours are not posted. So frustrated right now as we thought our driving appointment was at 10:30 am, called yesterday to confirm it, arrived at 10:30 because we didn't hear back from them. It is now 1:45, multiple phone calls and messages, over 3 hours of hanging around town and still no idea when the appointment is!! Would it really be so hard to return a phone call?!?! Angry

Fantastic experience: I have had a much different experience with this school. I have four children in which 3 have gone through them with no problems. I am getting ready to schedule my youngest for his drivers training and would not train anyone else. Remember he is training your children in a car if he doesn't call back right away he will.

Negative experience: Trying to set my sons behind the wheel up left 3 messages and have not received a call back.

Negative experience: We elected not to use this driver's training school as we had the strong impression the owner of the company was more interested in getting advance payment than making me feel comfortable or confident placing my child in his hands. The owner kept saying that "many of his customers do not show for driving lessons." Here's a tip: perhaps many of his customers are put off by his curt behavior on the phone and his inability to transact business without treating every potential parent as someone who is going to inconvenience and/or rob him.
