Fantastic experience: Great experience! Top Driver was recommended by a friend. My child just completed the program & will send another child there soon. Very professional & organized.

Negative experience: Absolutely Horrible! Getting a hold of anyone is nearly impossible, and trying to schedule appointments for children going to school? Forget about it. They conveniently leave out the fact that after you pay for the service, your child will be lucky to get one or two drives a month. It’s beyond frustrating, The lack of communication and scheduling availability is unacceptable. I would not recommend this service to anyone who values their time or money. Basically said it would be over 3 months to drive the needed 6 hours.

Fantastic experience: Top Driver's specialized ADHD program worked wonders for our son. My wife and I used Top Driver specifically because they offered a one on one program designed for ADHD students. Top Driver accommodated us to build a routine schedule after we discussed his learning situation. Our son took to the behind the wheel instructor Jeff as he was very patient explaining things in ways our son can understand. He took time to give my wife and I a face to face update after each lesson. Jeff truly is a class A instructor. Thank you Top Driver and Jeff for teaching our son so professionally!

Fantastic experience: We couldn't be happier with our experiences with Top Driver! Our teen has anxiety which was getting in the way of learning to drive. We found Top Driver’s Specialized Program for teens with anxiety (and/or other executive functioning disorders), which turned out to be the perfect class to get our teen over that anxiety hump of learning to drive. The program also offers private in-vehicle lessons that made it absolutely worth every penny. Our instructor Jeff has a perfect balance of knowledge, expertise, patience, and understanding to make those in-vehicle lessons invaluable. We 100% recommend Top Driver to anyone, especially if there are any anxiety concerns.

Fantastic experience: My daughter worked with Jeff Koelsch for behind the wheel and she had an extraordinary experience! She suffered major anxiety about driving but Jeff was so very patient and supportive. He was the PERFECT teacher for my daughter and we are so grateful!!

Fantastic experience: We went to top driver homer glen and had Jeff as our instructor and he also did most of our BTW lessons. We had the most fantastic experience. My kids loved Jeff as an instructor and I loved the ease of Top Driver. Many of my friends recommended this and now I see why. Keep it up top driver! Grade = A+

Fantastic experience: I was a student back in 2021 and I'm so glad I passed the road test with them. Friendly instructors and I remember how nervous I was just like it was yesterday for the test!!

Negative experience: My child is already 16, and I still can't get all his driver lessons scheduled. It has been almost a year!! Don't waste your money or time. No classes ever available, when they release classes once a month, you still can't get anything scheduled. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Great experiences for my teens. Instructor Jeff from Homer Glen was a terrific classroom teacher and behind the wheel instructor. Use the website and instructional videos.

Negative experience: Student driver almost hit me as I was walking across the street. Driver was making and illegal 90 degree turn going backwards on a residential street and wasn't looking where she was going. Instructor had his head down looking at his clipboard in the passenger seat the entire time. After almost being hit I knocked on the window and told them what happened. The appethetic Instructor said nothing and student finished completing illegal Maneuver. Top notch quality here folks. Beware if you see them in your neighborhood.

Negative experience: Getting the time in the classroom is not a problem but good luck trying to get any driving hours. We were only able to book 1 hour in September and I as I write this the website is busy crashing trying to book for October. I am sure there will be some BS response from the company about contact them to resolve it but that is a total joke also. Their phone number goes directly to voicemail with a 3 day response time. I have left messages twice with no response. Do yourself a favor and use a different company. If you are unfortunate enough to already be enrolled I recommend a complaint to the CPB and a BBB complaint.

Negative experience: Extremely irresponsible management has way over booked their capacity. It is nearly impossible to book your driving hours before they fill up for the month. We are on there waiting when they release and we have not been to get more than 1 hour a month. What makes it even worse is when you cant fill your hours before they expire they try and charge an additional $150. They are selling capacity they do not have to cash in. Don't be fooled by their BS response to the reviews either I will come back and add a couple photos of the overbooked hours when we try again next month.

Negative experience: You will sign up and pay $650. The next step is to “find” behind the wheel dates and times online. These do not exist- today is 7/8 and the next session is in September- with registration opening in August. Trust me - you won’t get a slot. I’ve tried for a year and now it’s an additional $150 fee and back on the wait list. I hate this company! If you have this issue - file an online complaint with the attorney general- enough is enough.

Fantastic experience: I start working with my instructor Jeff with no experience in driving. He always tells me baby steps at first and learn the basics. He is very patient and gives lots of points for me to learn to build my confidence up. Took 8 lessons and had a very good experience all through out. Salute to my instructor as I made it and passed the driving test. He is the best! Thank you!

After every driving lesson my son was always positive about his experiences with Jeff (instructor), as well as discussing the areas he could improve on. It didn’t take long for my son to feel comfortable driving and he is set up to take his driving test soon. We appreciate the support and encouragement, along with professionalism and knowledgeable instruction provided by Top Driver. We recommend anyone looking to get more confident and competent with their driving skills to give Top Driver a call.

Fantastic experience: The instructors at Top driver in Homer Glen are excellent! My son learned so much from Mike and Greg. They both really made my son a very confident and careful driver. They both went out of their way to let my son and I know what he did well and what he needs to practice after every lesson. I’m so glad that we went thru them. I highly recommend Top Driver!

Scheduled his first "in car" lesson with a driving instructor Received an email a couple days before the in car lesson with very specific information regarding the upcoming appointment Instructor was on time, friendly and professional. When my son and the instructor arrived back at the office location, the instructor gave me feedback on the lesson and detailed notes on paper to my son.

I am glad that I paid the extra money outside of the school program to get both of my children their licenses on time. The process for signing up was easy. The behind the wheel program was great. The online sign up was so convenient. Loved the program.

Negative experience: I did not like that I had to pay an extra $15O.00 so they can open up more dates for my daughter to do behind the wheel! She took the class in September and we wanted to do behind the wheel in the summer but I had to pay extra... just a bunch of BS in my book

Fantastic experience: Both of our children took their Driver's Training through Top Driver in Homer Glen and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Our children's classroom instructors were Mike, Rick and Jeff and they were great. The customer service office is always very courteous, prompt and helpful. In Homer Glen, we had an issue that needed attention in one of our teen's classrooms and the management was quick to address and resolve it. Our daughter's in-car driving experience with both Mike and Jeff was great (our son hasn't started the driving portion yet). We would highly recommend Top Driver in Homer Glen.

Fantastic experience: Great class and great instructors. Driving time fills up fast but if you log in the beginning of every month you should be able to book multiples. Instructors will even pick up at school/home and they give detailed driving reports.

Fantastic experience: I have put three kids trough Homer Top Driver School and the company has done a great job with all my kids and every time there was an issue (with scheduling/pick up etc.), they have been more than accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend them without exception.

Fantastic experience: My daughter just completed the class portion. Top Driver classes were very informative and gave her the needed tools to be a responsible driver. At one point we had an issue with the classroom instruction, but our concerns were immediately and appropriately addressed. Customer service was excellent and the instructors were very accommodating. My daughter has a learning challenge and I was allowed to attend class with her to be her note taker. They also made arrangements for her to take a modified written test. I highly recommend Top Driver.

Negative experience: I would never recommend this company for behind the wheel. There is no set schedule, they charged me close to 500$ for 10 one hour sessions where they tell you they will pick up your child. However, their scheduling is so ridiculous it has taken months for her to complete 7 lessons, you have to wait and pray they open up more lessons. She is down to her last 3 lessons, you would think they should have open slots available, right? Nope, maybe in Jan!!! It's October.. So.... if you don't mind waiting 6 months for your child to complete 10, one hour lessons, this is the place for you! Since we are moving out of state in 7 weeks, I now have to take her to a horrible location, drive her there and back - no longer is she being picked up as promised when I paid. Basically, you call - they take your money - you call back over and over and over praying there are lessons available for your child. Never again!!!!
