Fantastic experience: I did several driving lessons with Kenny and Kay @ pushstart. I am a 37 year old who had very little prior driving experience so it was not so easy for me to start driving. The instructors at Pushstart were very professional, friendly and always punctual. I would totally recommend Pushstart to adults with little driving experience -it is totally worth the money and very effective for passing the DMV test.Thank you Pushstart!

The instructors, especially Kenny and Kate, are very professional, effective and skillful. They are also competent, reliable and incredibly helpful in teaching her: Before her lessons with Push Start, she was nervous and stressed about driving and the test. Kenny restored our daughter's confidence about driving totally. She was so inspired by the school that she even woke up early (at 7am) for her driving lessons! Fantastic experience: This is an amazing school with highly professional services and instructors. I scheduled the 9 hours + test with Kenny, and he was a great. A very patient and calm instructor who went through everything with me in detail and shared cool anecdotes and stories with me. I passed on my first attempt at the test easily due to his valuable insights, and the car provided for the test was comfortable and great to work with for the test. Look no further if you’re looking for great lessons, at your own pace!

Fantastic experience: Their vehicles are great for driving tests. The mirrors are adjustable (for straight-line reverse) and the brakes are sharp. I am an adult without prior driving experience but I bike for commuting. I took 7 lessons in total and 2 behind the wheel tests. I had multiple instructors (Jesse, Mike, Janelly, and Greg) because of my schedule and they were all encouraging and informative. The customer service is also quick to help and can help you schedule your behind-the-wheel test!

Fantastic experience: both my brother and I met with Alan, my brother first met with Alan in June and was set to get his license by mid July but put it off until August due to vacations and I started meeting with him around late August and passed my driver’s test November 3rd, 2023. I cannot recommend him enough. as a former pilot, he’s experienced with multiple forms of steering and is a very calm person, his presence is amazing. i used to have severe trauma associated with driving and had previously had a permit that expired and two bad driving lessons with two other teachers. he listened to that and worked with me. we started out 4mph terrible turns and made me feel like a million bucks, and eventually we did bigger turns, pull-up park, straight line reverse, and taking to the streets and highways. i refused to work with anyone else and Alan advocated for me to the company to have me only work with him. he’s worked with other high anxiety students like me who waited years to get their licenses and they passed with no mistakes. this is THE best company to go with and i always tell my friends and younger peers to go here and book Alan always in advance since he’s an awesome guy and his time is valuable, so book in advance out of respect and to secure a spot. thank you so much to everyone at push start driving school and especially to Alan for helping me get my license, it really healed apart of me. if i could give more than 5 stars i would! ❤️❤️

He is a very experienced and professional instructor and gave me great advice, tips and tricks during couple of lessons I took from him. He is highly recommended if you are looking for an instructor. Anna was great in communicating and coordinating everything.

Negative experience: You have to be careful, they give you appointments and they cancel you a day before, you must verify the reliability before.

Fantastic experience: Hi took classes with Push Start Academy for my driving test and passed in the first try. I had an amazing experience with my driving instructor Kay. She is very experienced in handling students. She let me do my thing and corrected me when I went wrong. She came up with acronyms to help me remember the to do list before taking turns, at stop signs, etc. I would recommend Push Start Academy to everyone who wants to learn driving.

Fantastic experience: Kenny is the BEST INSTRUCTOR EVER. I've had a lifelong fear of driving. I hadn't driven since I was 17. At 36 (!!) I decided to try again. I was so nervous but Kenny was patient, kind, funny, and super knowledgable. I never thought in a million years I'd overcome my fear of driving, but Kenny helped me do it. He was instrumental in it. And...I passed FIRST TIME. That was back in April. Now it's June and I'm driving every day, even on the freeway. It's amazing and it's all down to Kenny. The pacing and content of the lessons were perfectly tailored for my skill level, and my instructor, Kenny, was tremendously knowledgeable and supportive. Fantastic experience: I just passed my driving test today on the first try thanks to Kenny! The check in and test went smoothly and Kenny is clearly super experienced leading people through the test (definitely go to the test with him and do a warm up before). All the tips he gave me during the driving lessons I had with him were spot on. He makes sure you're good at the fundamentals instead of just trying to game the test itself which I really appreciate. The way he teaches is clear, friendly, and professional but he also throws in some humor. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Definitely recommend new drivers to come to Push Start and ask for Kenny.

Fantastic experience: I took my CA DMV drive test today at Redwood City with Kenneth. I had taken 2 drive test attempts on my own earlier and this was my 3rd attempt and I was a bit nervous. But Kenneth made me feel comfortable and worked on the finer details which helped me pass the drive test. He is very well aware of all the streets and neighborhood around the DMV and practising with him before the actual test gave me confidence. Thanks a lot Kenneth for the excellent service.
