Fantastic experience: Diamond driving is amazing and worth every penny. I enrolled my son for lessons. He was a nervous young adult whom had only driven during highschool driver's education. Elana was amazing. She was patient with him and taught him everything needed to become safe and informed driver. She had him driving all over the city. Once she felt he was doing well she let me know no further lessons were needed. She didn't try to milk me for more lessons. My son has become a great new driver. Yesterday he went to get his license and passed on the first try. Thanks for doing an amazing job Diamond Driving school my God bless you and your business!

Fantastic experience: Chett and Alana are incredible! Don’t look anywhere else to get your child ready for their permit! They had my daughter THOROUGHLY prepared with in class teaching and a 200 question practice test! She just took her permit test today and only missed 1 question. They are both great class and on the road instructors and just kind people overall. My daughter had so much fun each week in her lessons with them and can not say enough good fantastic things about them! You won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: I haven't even taken lessons yet, but I'm giving them 5 stars because the ladies in my family are known for getting our license late in life because we are nervous drivers. Both my sisters have come to this this school, and we'll as a good friend of mine. 1 of them was from years ago, and my other sister just passed her road test last year. Thats shows consistency in their teaching styles. They were in their late 20's and 30's. Literally hearing their successe stories is all I need to know that this establishment is TOP TIER!!!!. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Negative experience: Elana is not flexible and accommodating for teenage schedules. Very rude, and not understanding. When you pay for something upfront, you expect professionalism and some agreeable attitudes. This was not the case when we needed to adjust our schedule. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: We have used Chet’s services for several of our children. His teaching and confidence building is a positive for both the student and as parents for us as well. I felt my child was going in with good skills and safe driving techniques for the test as well as for their future on the road All were successful in securing their license the first time out. Negative experience: Elana is the most disrespectful horrible woman that has ever answered the phone. Go somewhere else unless you want to have someone be extremely rude and unhelpful and hang up on you for no reason. Waste of time and money...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Negative experience: I called to check about the 8-hour driving course and she gave me the price of $400 and she stated the 4-hours is only $50 and I was just asking why is it such a big difference and the lady told me I could check around sweetie and hung up on me if I could give it a 0 star I would . Need to work on customer service skills.

Fantastic experience: Chet and Elana are the BEST! Chet prepares you so well for your road test and he makes it fun too. He is so calming and easy to chat with and he is really funny. He works with folks who have certain physical limitations. For example, prior to my lessons he was teaching a young man who did not have use of his legs, and that person passed after a few lessons. I cannot recommend this place enough. The Diamond's really care about your success and are so professional and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I did my behind the wheel and my 30 hours of classroom instruction with Chet and it was so easy. I was very scared before starting but he made sure to explain everything to me and he was calm about it which helped me relax. Any time I made a mistake while driving he would help me and then he would explain to me what I did wrong so I could get it right next time. Overall it was a very easy process and I would really recommend him and Elana to anyone who is considering taking Drivers ed.

Fantastic experience: Very Good, professional and a little strict, but worth it. I Took one 2 hour class with Ms.Elana and the next day I passed my road test! I highly recommend this instructor, she will have you fully prepared. ( if you have more time take more classes, my road test was the next day so i had to cram my lessons and fully focus.) ✨✨

Fantastic experience: I drove with Chet for my driving classes and the experience was fantastic. He's a great professional and an awesome instructor, but even more, he's a great human being. I had no trouble following his instructions and he guided me and helped me in getting my license. I would definitely recommend this driving school to everyone looking for driving the first time and even those who want to practice again. Even special needs people are well attended to.

Fantastic experience: My son attends boarding school out of state and I needed to get him in over the summer to make sure he started sophomore year with that permit! Chet and Elana were amazing! They were quick to answer any questions I had. They're both very warm and welcoming and I felt at ease with my decision. Chet is super talented with connecting with the teens and very relatable. They're both also genuinely excited and interested to work with the teens in the class. My son passed his test on the first try and got all of the answers correct. I attribute this to Chet and Elana's end of course practice testing. They work with these kids until they get it right. I can't wait to enroll our next future driver in the household!

Negative experience: Unprofessional, rude and waste of my time. Seemed to be okay over the phone when I made the appointment but during the lessons she was very unpleasant. I would suggest others to look for a different driving school.

Fantastic experience: My son attended this driving school before obtaining his permit. Chet and his staff laid a great base. Over the following year, my son continued to improve but I felt he needed some final guidance from someone other than his parents. Before his driving test, he drove a few hours with Chet who reinforced safe habits and set him up for success on the road test. I highly recommend Diamond Driving School and will definitely use them when it's time to teach my next child.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous getting behind the wheel after 4 years learning to drive with hand controls as a handicap driver. Chet was very kind and kept me calm & relaxed while doing my driving lessons. I had troubles with my turns , we practiced and practiced until I felt more confident. Negative experience: I was not able to enjoy the professionalism of the drivers or the great driving experience, that I read in these comments. I called on 5/23/19 about 10:30am and the lady on the phone was so rude, I would never give my money to this company. Customer Service is the key, especially when you work in a saturated market. There are others. Hopefully, she will learn to appreciate her customers and watch her tone when she speaks to people.

Fantastic experience: Great experience for a New Driver! I selected A Diamond Driving school for my 15-year old son, based on the positive reviews. We wanted our son to get some real driving experience on his own. Chet, the instructor, is very professional and well-organized. We set a few dates and due to heavy rains, we had to move one of the dates. Chet was very flexible and accommodating to find times that would work for us. My son enjoyed his time with Chet and did about 7.5 hours of driving in many different conditions and routes. Chet is very calm and seasoned and he really drives the importance of good driving habits and avoiding accidents. Chet was also very kind to buy soda for my son every time they went driving, something he didn't really have to. My son felt very relaxed and comfortable with Chet, who also made it a point to identify areas for improvement after every driving session. Chet was always available on time, and maintained a timely schedule. With our great experience, I highly recommend A Diamond Driving School. The car in which they drove was in very good condition with dual controls for Chet to ensure a safe driving experience. Thanks Chet!

Negative experience: Not a great option in my opinion. Elena initially canceled on me several times and when we finally drove together was impatient and seemed like she didn't want to be there. I suspect it was because I purchased only one session rather than a package of hours. Whomever has had a good experience here, I'm happy for you but this isn't the right school and she isn't the right instructor for me.

Fantastic experience: I had my few lessons with Chet. He was great! Very chill and laid back. He doesn't do anything that will make you feel uncomfortable. He is very patient and understanding.He also understand that new drivers are prone to driving how they "feel comfortable". However, he will correct you but in a very POLITE and respectful manner. I would recommend for all new learners who never drove in this country or none of experience. Chet will boost you and learn you how easy to get driving license. Just keep patience and listen carefully what he said. I would recommend diamond driving school by all means. Thank you chet and a Diamond driving school.

Fantastic experience: This is the best driving school you can find. You will be taught everything you need to know in a professional manner and very quickly. Fantastic experience: I lost the use of my legs and in order to drive I had to take a driving course for handicap people at 63 years old. Trust me it was money well spent, Chet took his time and he is very easy to work with. He had my confidence level back up on the first trip. He is calm, treats you with respect, but at the same time tells you like it is. I would highly recommend using A-1 driving school

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give more than 5 stars to Chet and Elana. They were absolutely terrific. I took a total of 26 hours of driving lessons. My first 6 hours were with Elana and the rest with Chet. Chet is a fabulous teacher. He is patient and very knowledgeable. He taught me all the techniques for defensive driving including some tricks to effortlessly pass the test on first attempt. We practiced the DMV course many times so that there wont be any surprises on the D-day. He even bought me treat on my first day. I never thought I would be able to drive. Thanks Chet and Elana. For anyone looking to learn to drive, look no further than Diamond driving school

Fantastic experience: Can't speak highly enough of this dynamic duo. So glad a friend recommended going with Chet and Elana - a really personalized experience - fabulous for those kids with crazy schedules! They genuinely care about the safety of their students and do MUCH to put nervous parents' minds at ease. Icing on the cake - we put a required form for DMV in such a safe place after class completion months ago that we couldn't find it come permit time...Chet was kind enough to happily meet us in the driving school parking lot to give us a duplicate - on a football Sunday!! Worked out even better than planned, b/c he gave my son a quick standing refresher right there, and two days later our son passed with flying colors/no missed questions right off the bat! Many thanks, Chet and Elana - you are like family to us!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my experience with A diamond driving School. Elanna was my instructor and she was absolutely wonderful. She helped me build my confidence and I walked out of the DMV as a licensed women today. I recommend this school 100%. Elanna and Chet Diamond are phenomenal.

Negative experience: I called this school and asked for driving practice and get ASL interpreter and they won't offer me for that. It's against the ada law!

Fantastic experience: Chet is absolutely the best instructor around . I have been in Charlotte for three years and was terrified of driving . I failed my road test three times , took a class from another instructor who made me even more nervous and was thinking of giving up altogether . Not having a license was taking its toll on my life . I took 4 classes from Chet and cleared the test in a jiffy . i will forever be grateful to Chet .Chet is very considerate and very candid- he told me exactly what was wrong with my driving worked hard on my weaknesses , was very punctual and never impatient . i think he is an amazing teacher.

Fantastic experience: Really good school! If you are beginner driver who needs preparation to pass the road test at DMV or you are professional who lost driving skills and wants to get it back or you just need some lessons of driving then this school is for you. If you choose this school you will take new cars, excellent teacher and good price (especially if you take a bundle of hours). I was a very beginner driver and in my case I took only 10 hours of practice and passed my road exam at DMV the first time. I just was trained very well and did my best. So, if you are looking for driving school in Charlotte area then it is your choice definitely! Alex.
