Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I most definitely would have the people working here are sooooo old they forget alll the information they tell you ! They give you wrong dates wrong information nothing is organized at this school. I was so ready to help my daughter get into a driving school I never even looked at these reviews I blame myself for being so impulsive they literally have a 2 review rating ‍♀️ I wish I never enrolled her at this school it’s been 3 months and it’s still ring around the rosy trying to schedule her on the road tests

Negative experience: This is the ABSOLUTE worst place. Do not waste your money. They’re quick to take payment up front but make zero attempt to schedule the classes they owe you! They are extremely rude and do not care what your situation is. Our appointment at the DMV was in August and had to get rescheduled to November because quad cities refused to schedule the driving classes. My daughter had to miss school just to take these classes because that’s what worked for them! 2 days before the rescheduled appointment at the DMV and they are STILL in no rush to provide the certificate they owe us. No apologies. No excuses. Just an oh well. I will never recommend this place to anyone. EVER!!!

Negative experience: This instruction course is beyond ridiculous, my best friend has been taking lessons here since last year, every time we would meet id hear a new terrible experience from this place, the disrespect and treatment she received was unacceptable. I was so happy for her when she finally was able to take her license test and to leave this place. She traveled hours to get her test, only to find out this school purposely withheld the necessary documentation in order to take the test. My best friend came back heartbroken, tired, and frustrated. Wasted hours, disappointment, and pure anger for this institution. No company should ever withhold the necessary paperwork to any of their clients. Now she is being forced to take a test with them, to be further disrespected and abused. If you love your kids, never let them near this place.

There are two sides to any situation. This parent should have inquired about documents required to test for driving exam which would include the certificate of completion-964 from Quad-Cities. No documents are withheld from a parent. They have a choice to test at any testing facility.

Negative experience: They withheld my paper work and didn't tell me so on my 16th birthday my mom drove hours to surprise me at camp to get my license and I couldn't get it because they without my knowledge withheld my paperwork

Fantastic experience: My now 21 year old and my last son who is 17, have successfully attended this program. I love the experience of the staff and how they require students to behave maturely and take the entire process seriously! I feel better about my sons being on these dangerous streets with the foundation they now have from Quad Cities!!!

Negative experience: Was a student here this year. They do not teach. Majority of class time is spent watching old tapes barely relevant on how to drive or traffic rules. You are better off watching videos on the DPS website on your own time and studying the drivers handbook. Not worth $300. Also they gave me the wrong form to take to the DPS office after I took my written exam. From what I understood from DPS rule, I needed an adult form but the instructor insisted i keep the minor one. Come my appointment the lady at the DPS said I had the wrong form and needed to fill out the adult one instead of the minor form the school gave me (even though I was 18 and the instructor knew that). They only give a 5 minute late grace period for both classes and drive times yet are late to start class and drive times. But if you're late one time from traffic or weather its a $20 fee

Negative experience: I wish I can give zero star to this so called school. Please I will advise anyone not to go there so that you won't have a regret. This is the worst place anyone can visit. I paid $60 for registration and was given a time different from what they have on their list. There is this old lady that talked to me rudely and said they will refund my money back since September 28th. My people, till present ,I haven't gotten my money back and I have gotten my driver's license. What a mess of a place.

Fantastic experience: Very convenient to skip the waiting with the DMV. Highly recommended

Negative experience: THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! One of the ladies here was VERY disrespectful and during my course i could hear her making fun of me and the other students, they only respect adults. DO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE IF YOU WANT THEM TO LEARN HOW TO DRIVE ! You can get the same education form searching 2000’s drivers ed video on youtube and searching up the 2017 drivers handbook because thats what they used to teach us and everything was just teaching ourselves.

Negative experience: My son went to this school. The staff is very rude. They yell. One of the driving instructors asked my son if he was in special ed because he didn't understand one of her directions. The classroom instructor comes back from the break smelling like cigarettes. The proccess of this driving course was elongated because my son did not want to go to his classes.

Negative experience: This facility is poorly managed and money hungry. The staff are rude and unprofessional. My daughter overheard a conversation between staff that she should not have heard. Would not recommend this place at all. Within the past 10 months, only 2 good reviews of the 8 listed. It looks like the owner hasn't reviewed this in over a year and ONLY responds to positive reviews. I should have visited this page prior to enrolling my daughter. Ms. Marina Pothen, please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Brenda Rodriguez 3 years ago

Negative experience: This was the only option after the school my daughter started driving lessons closed for 4 months. The instructors are rude and yell at the kids. You have to come to the office even to reschedule a lesson. They say is 7 lessons of 45 minutes but the lessons were 30 minutes long. My daughter won't be taking the test here. Please take your teens somewhere else.

Negative experience: The lady was not helpful, not understanding and they kept my son's airpods. I was told no other schools around...Found out that was a lie..... would not recommend the school ...just fyi you can take drivers ed online via pioneer driver school in Cedar Hill

Fantastic experience: I passed my road test !! Going to the DMV during this COVID pandemic has been such a hassle, waiting in long lines just for a permit was the worst. When they told me I would have to schedule another appointment for my actual road test I was super bummed because the appointments were ridiculously far away. I decided to skip the DMV and take my road test here at Quad cities and it was such an easy process ! Called one day asking for an appointment for a test and then they scheduled me the next week. I came in today, they asked for my required documents, and next thing you know I was taking the test all in the matter of 30 mins or less ! The instructor was very nice and made me feel comfortable since at first I was very nervous. Although she was nice she definitely will grade you for what she sees ! She told me everything I could improve on and then told me I passed ! I’m so happy to have had this hassle free experience at Quad Cities!

Fantastic experience: This is one of the best places in the world to take driving lessons first off I am 31 years old with three kids yes it's true I have never had a license but this year I made it my goal to complete my driving course I was nervous but when I walked in to start off with driving lessons Mark made me feel that I can do it practice makes perfect one lesson with him was amazing I was I was able to brush up on driving skills and also learn new things since I'm still self taught the date of my driving test I was dealing with fear but I took a 25 minute review and also completed my driving test I passed all I could do was cry because fear was holding me back and like Mark said all I had to do was practice and have faith I actually made a better score than I thought to be honest if I had to take 30 lessons I would have did it because the school is that great they just don't pass you so trust me you have to be good because they will fail you they actually take the time out to make for sure you learn so please stop by here if you are anyone need lessons you will not regret it be easy

Negative experience: My daughter went through this program last year. Stay Away! The classroom lessons are taught via VCR tapes from the 80's. And although their website stated instructor led hands on driving, they stick you with a 30 hour parent log and said"the state requires this". No matter how convenient the hours and location are, this is a bad idea.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with my instructor Mark, he helped me become a better driver. I was able to schedule my road test a week later and passed my road test the first time. Would highly recommend Quad Cities and Mark my instructor.

Fantastic experience: despite of all bad reviews I chose them and now give them 5 stars. My teacher was so fun, so kind and she taught me everything that I needed to know about things that might happen to me when I’m driving .Also,I was new in town and she didn’t make me feel discriminated or uncomfortable even for a second; in fact she helped me wherever I needed her to identify the meaning of words for me! My instructor also was very cautious and patient. He taught me many wonderful points that I use them every time I drive . after all,For me? it was absolutely worth it!

Negative experience: Don’t go here the teachers are very disrespectful and the school shouldn’t be open. Also they’re money hungry. 100% garbage

Ariel Walker 6 years ago

Negative experience: Please please don’t pay to test here !! I understand it’s cheap but they will fail you over and over just to retest and pay more ... it’s worth paying more or waiting ! ZERO STARS and they talked about my family when I failed !! If I could give this zero stars I definitely would !

Negative experience: Please beware!!! This place is not a good learning place the state need to shut them down . For $310 dollars they could have updated their video fro vcr tape to dvd!! Second, hire real professionals that have a license by the state to teach not their friends/neighbors!! Last , have a better Positive attitude when you talk to an adult that is paying for the service!!!! REALLY BAD & Unprofessionally place!!

Fantastic experience: I did my Road test here because i didn't want to deal with lines at the DPS. For $50, It was a steal.

Negative experience: THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!! Took my 18 year old daughter to get her permit was NEVER EVER told about an adult class for young adults18+. My daughter was enrolled in the regular drivers ed class for $310 for an entire month. Went to get her permit from the DMV and was asked there WHY an 18 year old took this particular class INSTEAD of the usual 1 day $75 class for adults 18+. I was told by the DMV worker to go back and get the adult permit paperwork (which The school gave me) and to request a refund (which I did). I was ASSURED i would get a refund for the balance of $235 which was the $75 taken out for the adult class minus the $310 for a class I paid for that I not only DIDNT need but was not spoke to about upon enrolling. I filled out a refund form put my name and address on back and was told a check would be maiked. Now over a week later no check so I called and got nasty attitude Judy telling me no one is paying me back anything and the best thing I can do is to call back Monday (today) to speak to the director. Of course I called and of course no director available. B.B.B here I come

Negative experience: Very unorganized and has out-dated teaching methods.

Danielle C (Danie) 7 years ago

Negative experience: If I could leave less than one star I would. The owner is unprofessional and disrespectful. They make up rules and drive times as they go along. Every time you speak with a different person in the office you get a different answer. This course was a gift from my son's grandmother but had I known we would have just gone to a more reputable school. DON'T DO It!!!!

Negative experience: Didn't even get to the place yet.. called and they put me on hold.. they picked back up the phone and they go.. hello one quick time and the hung up the phone.. not going there

Gilbert Cavello 9 years ago

Fantastic experience: My son and niece both went here and they loved it. They even pick them up from Duncanville High School to have them do there driving. No complaints here.

Gianna Ward 9 years ago

Negative experience: They are very unprofessional, and are money hungry. I hate how the instructors teach!!!!!

Micah Trostle 9 years ago

Fantastic experience: Yes. I give it 5 stars. Why? Because I learned what I went there to learn. I can understand why everyone has rated it 1 star. It's not the most beautiful building or office, it may seem a bit unorganized, and sometimes the teachers might get upset easily. But what was good, they know what they are teaching and make sure you do too. The manager and owner is a very nice person, she has never yelled at anyone, and was even flexible enough that she came in on her off hours so that I could get extra drive time. In the classroom, they make us write down all the questions and the answers so that we know to full extent what is being taught. If you have a question, the teachers are very eager to answer. They are strict about cell phone usage, but that is good because if your parent paid 310$ for you to learn how to drive, you should learn how to drive, not sit on your cell phone. If you miss a night, you are required make up work, so that you don't get behind, which is good. Bottom line, yes there are flaws, but why did you take your kids to quad cities, to learn. And that, I did. Thank you Mrs Pothan and Mrs. Judy!

Negative experience: Bad didn't like my daughter going there they where not organized and the white lady was rude

Multifamily Electrical 9 years ago

Negative experience: I started teaching my kid to drive through a parent taught drivers education program. I really dropped the ball and didn't do a good job especially with the student drive time. I was just to busy with a new business to give her the time behind the wheel she needed. The Quad Cities website says "...Includes full classroom course, required in-car driving, and permit testing at Quad Cities." I went in person and told the lady why I was enrolling my daughter in the course and she said they would take care of everything. Two weeks into the course my daughter came home with a driving log requiring 30 hours of drive time with a parent. When I questioned them the next day, they were very defensive and had obviously been in that discussion before. I pulled her out and finished our original course. Buyer beware. And no, they wouldn't give me a refund.

Negative experience: One driver cursed at my son thoughout his driving session....

Cheryti Hames 12 years ago

Negative experience: I wish I had read some reviews before enrolling my daughter in this school. She was so excited about driver's ed and now I have to force her to go to class. The staff are the poster children for poor customer service and mismanagement. They have been rude, snappy, inflexible, and unhelpful not only towards my teen but to me as well. I concur with all previous reviews that they are disorganized, and would recommend you enroll elsewhere even if the distance is less convenient. You will regret you ever walked through the doors at this place, provided they are open to walk through, as they do not keep their business hours as stated.
