Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend it. While I was impressed with the $600 price for four days a week, two hours a day, it was $100 cheaper than a school in Independence, making it a more convenient option. However, I had to explain to the individual why they could not get their license, which I felt was not my job. After every session, they were left more confused and felt defeated by some of the comments made. The person expressed that the trainer was rude and abrasive, showing little patience as they tried to learn how to drive. Despite this, I believe every mishap can be seen as an opportunity for growth. Although the individual didn’t want to continue the lessons, I insisted.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was very comfortable with Mr. Reggie she had confidence to drive us to wingstop and back home afterward. Thank you so much, will definitely use this company again and refer others!!!

Fantastic experience: I wanted to get my drivers license and had some experience driving, so I signed up for the eight hour package. Reggie is very knowledgeable about driving and gave a lot of information and ways to think about driving that I feel like really helped me to improve my driving and understand how good and bad driving looks and feels like. With all of that said, Reggie was a bit hesitant to take me to the test because there were times that I was not demonstrating I was in control of the vehicle, but he did take me and even showed me a couple of roads he said they might take me on and essentially gave me a prestest and had me parallel park and park in the parking lot. He gave pointers on everything and right before the test reviewed basics with me. The test was a lot easier than the practice sessions and I felt that I was able to apply the information I had been taught, and I passed! Very happy to have not only my license but also a more robust skill set than when I started.

Fantastic experience: Stress free way to teach your kids how to drive. I sent both of my son’s. They had been practicing already but with time constraints we couldn’t take the time to take them driving. So one of my friends suggested this school. The driver picked them up separately of course and taught them the basics and took them driving. Totally prepared them for the test! Both boys got a certificate and we took them the following week to take the test and they both passed! Definitely a good school with good instructors! Thanks James Driving school!

Fantastic experience: Anxiety ain’t got nothing on me, I got my drivers license! Thanks to James Smith Driving School they were patient, set me up for success, and took me to do my test. Truly a small price to pay for a lifetime skill. I even got a certificate that gives me a discount on my insurance. I highly recommend them for anybody who wants to take the leap and get their license but aren’t sure where to start. ✨

I have been to other driving schools, never saw any other instructor actually working that hard on their students so that they can not only pass their test but also become a good driver. Fantastic experience: I have used the driving school for 2 of my teenage girls and also referred to a friend's family who also used them. Read the rules and schedule at a time you can make it, you should have no problems. My girl's confidence behind the wheel was greatly increased and they know the rules of the road. They are strict but nice. Definitely worth the money to not have to do it myself.

Negative experience: The day before lessons, I get a text asking for my address. And then I'm told of an additional fee that I was not aware of because I met him in my neighborhood. He was rude and not willing to wave this fee. Only 16 mins away and there is a additional fee after I already paid in full? I guess I should have read the reviews, but that is what I get for trying to support black owned businesses. Its always something shady. Currently waiting on my refund.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a great experience at her “intro to driving” lesson today. She said that she learned far more in these two hours of instruction than she had learned when I have had her practice with me in an empty parking lot. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know how to teach someone how to drive, so I’m grateful for this school and the expertise. We will be continuing with a few more hours of instruction and practice. Bonus: they provide transportation and the practice vehicle.

Fantastic experience: Mr. King was an amazing teacher. The service was excellent and my son passed his test on the first try with an 80%. If you are looking for reasonable prices and great results James Sinth Driving School is the place for you.

Positive experience: Do not take this class if you do not have the ability to practice outside of your lessons! It is not at all a standalone nor does the instructor claim it to be. If you are wondering can you take this course with no driving ability as well as no transportation at home to practice and succeed, the answer is no. You have to remember and be able to recollect at a moment the theory portions of driving. I am giving a three because it is an okay course. The instructor is nice so that is a plus. He works very hard to get you to be a perfect driver but if you are short the car may very well be a challenge for you which is something that you should consider. Drive a lot before taking this class and then get the Refresher Course if you want would be my suggestion. INFJ personality types it is not a must have to getting your license and you can take it for fun or skip it. I think it would be a good course for teens specifically so I would recommend for teens. Payment methods are modern and easy. The claim that I found most true from the website is that you will learn the steps that are on the test. All in all okay.

Fantastic experience: James Smith Driving school is absolutely amazing!!!! My son who had very little driving experience went through the 6 hour course. This consists of 3 days of in the vehicle training. Every single day he came home with more knowledge and excitement from everything he had learned. I strongly recommend this school!!! The only thing I would have changed was I would have done the 8 hour course instead of the 6. Thanks for everything!!!

Fantastic experience: Despite being a young adult, I had previously almost no experience behind the wheel and struggled with intense anxiety while driving. I didn’t pass on my first attempt, but with a little more practice outside of my courses, I became a lot more comfortable and passed my second time with a 94. Great service to learn the foundations and skills to be a better driver. Would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL! NEVER EVER !! WASTED MY MONEY AND TIME! I signed up for the 8 - hours economy lessons. Horrible car, horrible instructor, bad communication, the worst treatment, and so selfish to adjust schedules. What they care is just to take your money...they don't care about your dream of getting a driver license and driving your car safely. Specially foreigners, DO NOT EVER CHOOSE THIS DRIVING SCHOOL! SO BAD !!

Negative experience: No one's ever there, they won't work with you if you work 2 jobs and have limited time, not wilwill to negotiate to make things work even for 360 bucks, and you would think they would at least try to get that money if nothing else if you call this run down shack a business

Negative experience: Honestly.. This was a waste of my money. I paid $360 for 8 hours to get my licence. On my first day I learned so much because my "teacher" "instructor" was actually working with me and helping. After the first day I gave him my money and after it was a straight rip off .. The "instructor" started getting very irritable with me because I was "learning" and mentioned SERVERAL times he's not the one that needs his license. I would have never used this company had I know all that you guys care about is the money!!!! Long story short .. Im still without a license

Fantastic experience: My family never had a car and I was very scared of driving when I went to James Smith Driving school. Surprisingly, I passed my driving test in the first attempt. I thank my instructor Reggie King. He is an excellent instructor. I would recommend choosing a newer model of car. Highly recommend this driving school.
