Fantastic experience: Zimmerman driving school as taught me a lot of stuff I did not even know about driving. I was really happy with the results from it

Negative experience: I have put three of my kids through this driving program over the past 2 years and have had nothing but issues. My first son it took 4 months because it kept saying he didn’t complete whatever lesson he had completed the day prior. It was such a pain being in constant contact trying to have his issue fixed and no redo each lesson twice. Now my 3rd son it wouldn’t let me even login unless I put the same login information 4 times and to leave the webpage and go back in each time I logged in. He also would have it say he didn’t complete the lessons he completed. Now he is at the final exam and has had to retake the exam 2 times and each time it says error occurred and Zimmerman won’t fix the issue and won’t let him finish. I have reached out and gotten no contact with their support and now the main contact office person (Jessica) is not answering my emails or calls to figure out how to finish this course so he can take his permit test. They took hundreds of dollars and can’t even contact or advise on how my son is to complete his final exam because of a glitch in their system. I would NEVER recommend this company… ever. Completely unhelpful and a pain to get through the program Update, they got back to me and Jessica spoke with the owner and apologized and have shaved $75 off what we owe so I will say they did do a good job remedying the problem but communication was for sure lacking in the process. I feel that with what it costs for this program it should work accordingly because it isn’t cheap!

Fantastic experience: Brent was above and beyond during my time here. Extremely likable, down to earth, respectful and funny guy. He knew what he was doing, how to do it, how to teach, and relate and get along with me. I passed my test easily.

Fantastic experience: going to class in-person is definitely a wise choice. the instructors are up-to-date on the most recent stuff, like j-turns and autopilot features. plus, they let us know what the road testers look for!

Fantastic experience: I had really good teachers for both drivers Ed and behind the wheel, it was a wonderful experience and my driving teacher Brent was also a great teacher and made me become a better driver.

Fantastic experience: Zimmerman's was easy and friendly. We had the choice of taking class in-person or the online program and after my child finished the classroom time, they went out of their way to pair them with their friend for their behind the wheel lessons! This made it so easy to schedule the lessons so they could carpool together! Any time I had any questions all I had to do was call the office and they would help me get it all figured out!

The owner Bruce is also a class act top to bottom and runs a great program, demanding respect and professionalism through and through! There is no better place to go for a driving school than ZDS!!! Negative experience: Beyond not being able to complete in person school (which due to covid) I was fine however they didn’t even teach my son half the basics for behind the wheel. There was no accountability from the instructor to the school after I called and questioned what was going on after the instructor didn’t even show 3 times (not even a call). Now I have to pay for another school to teach my child what they need to learn. Very unprofessional business.

Positive experience: I've had my license for a couple of years now and attended Zimmerman Driving School before I got my permit. I learned a lot of useful information before I even drove a car for the first time. I felt very prepared for the written exam and felt like the classes were professional. I also took behind the wheel lessons here and thought that also went well. Something that would be beneficial is a more flexible schedule for students.

Fantastic experience: The staff have been very easy to work with. The instructors are supportive, and really want to see students succeed and feel like they are properly equipped behind the wheel. The driving lessons were constructive, not intimidating.

Fantastic experience: I had total confidence in the instruction my son received when he went through Drivers Education at Zimmerman's. Policies were in place to ensure students met classroom and behind the wheel standards so that with addition of their home driving hours they could confidently take their drivers test. It was a good partnership between Zimmerman's and the family.

Fantastic experience: I did not take drives education until I was almost 17 from having a fear of driving. At Zimmerman's I felt comfortable in class and behind the wheel with the instructors. When it came time for my test at the DMV I was much more confident behind the wheel thanks to Zimmerman Driving School.

Fantastic experience: I dreaded the idea of going to Drivers Ed. Listening to boring lectures about the rules of the road? No thank you! I was so surprised by how wrong I was just five minutes into my first class with Zimmerman. My instructor Mr. Handtke was half teacher half comedian. He kept us laughing the whole time and I learned valuable information that made me more than confident getting out on the road. Thanks Zimmerman!

Negative experience: Absolutely aweful. Brother went there and it sucked. Friends also said it was horrible. Headed somewhere else!

Positive experience: My daughter was able to get scheduled for behind the wheel quite regularly. Although she did get severely sick and informed the instructor she couldn’t make it since she went to the ER. Instructor was very rude. Understandable in some cases, but hasn’t scheduled another behind the wheel for her since.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was a little shy and the classroom and driving instructors were just fantastic with her. She recently passed her test and now has her license. I could not be happier with the service. Thank you Zimmerman Driving School!

Fantastic experience: The father/daughter bad review: the daughter was expelled for rude, disrespectful behavior. Was glad the instructor refused this girl to disrupt the rest of the class, happened a couple of days before she was expelled. This is an excellent, very reputable driving school with excellent, knowledgeable instructors.

Negative experience: If I could give this people a negative number I would., rude teachers, worse mgt, would never send a kid there. TERRIBLE PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH
