Negative experience: I would never recommend anyone here. My teen sign up for the 8hr course. I knew from the beginning the man that answered the phone was very hostile and rushing. I felt degraded because I was asking him so many questions. We were exicted because she just received her permit. He was very short. On the morning of the video course the instructor was worst! He was very impatient and demanding. The cherry on top was when he was verifying if everyone’s parent spoke English and one family did not, the teen did but I guess mom did not and he let out a line of comments inappropriate. I told my daughter to leave immediately we are not paying for that kind of service. No way not my hard earned dollars. We signed up for A-1 in Startford and what a difference service makes. My daughter feels so comfortable, confident and heard in this course. The parent course was a great atmosphere of questioning and learning. I’m not writing this review to persuade anyone but if your gut feels off go with it! A-1 even has an option for Spanish speaking only. That doesn’t apply to us as we don’t speak Spanish but it’s a good resource to have

Negative experience: Having been drawn in by the low cost and convenient class schedule, my friend attended one of their online Saturday classes while I had been present in the home at the same time. However, the course could not even be completed due to the instructor’s abrasive personality making it impossible to follow the lessons and/or feel comfortable enough to engage with the materials. Amongst the issues included: (1) The instructor having no patience for technical issues despite it coming with the territory of online classes. (2) The instructor claiming that my friend did not speak adequate enough English when she took too long to answer a question do to technical issues, and therefore could not get credit for the course even if she sat through it if she did not come in in-person. Mind you, my friend ONLY speaks English, but he made no attempts to bridge any gap he perceived communicating between himself and the student before jumping to assumptions and calling her out publicly. This happened to another woman in the class who was having similar connectivity issues, and continued this claim even after learning the true cause. (3) When she DID attempt to give full answers and detailed answers, she was met by constant cut offs from the instructor who merely repeated what she said or would not let her finish in general. This was even done when most of the class expressed not having understood the instructor’s explanation and had been seeking assistance from peers who did grasp it and could put it in other terms. (4) The instructor kept making off-handed political statements about “thanking the liberals for safety laws that don’t protect us” and going on tangents unrelated to the lesson while lecturing. Regardless of your affiliations, this is just odd behavior to have as an instructor for a driving safety course. It only served to make a weird and uncomfortable atmosphere, especially coupled with the issues from earlier having already made students uncomfortable. It seems like they already have a several year’s long track record with these issues, looking at their other negative reviews. I had hoped that the bad reviews had just been exaggeration, given the other positive reviews, but this stunned me too much not to leave our experience. The only positive is that they do not require payment prior to the class, so we felt no obligation to sit through the course and give them our money. If this is what’s to be expected here, we are happier paying a higher fee for better service somewhere else. Our instructor we believe was called Anthony Sylvia, as that was the name of the online meeting host, but we had been having trouble connecting during the introductions and his name was not repeated.

Fantastic experience: I went to epic driving school but it didn’t work out for me due to having poor instructors. My friends and family recommended LTD driving school, and i’m so glad i gave the school a chance. My instructor name was Omar, he was fun, patient, straightforward, and understanding. I felt 10x better leaving my practice lesson, and felt 100x better passing my road test later that same week. if you are reading this please do not waste your time and money at another driving school. my experience in this school was better and there was a big difference between this school comparing to epic driving school, the staff here is caring and kind and making driving on the road more calming.

Negative experience: This place sucks they took my 300 dollars for 2 lessons completed my test dmv officer asked them to schedule me for the first open spot and there talking about March we in December you kidding me

Negative experience: I had 2 hours driving lesson with Richard, It was the worst 2 hours of my life. I will advise any upcoming people that want to learn how to drive not to take him. Very rude and no patience at all.

Fantastic experience: Omar is a phenomenal teacher, with great energy and a relaxed approach. Really set me at ease, and taught me a ton of super helpful/useful tips that make the experience of learning to drive extremely approachable to even the most anxious student. Can't recommend him enough!

Positive experience: I bought 2 driving lessons with rental car for my fiance. The first lesson was horrible with instructor Richard. He was very callous and rude and if it were our child taking that lesson i would be even more offended by his method of teaching which is basically, "be a jerk to make it memmorable". Maybe he's changed his approach by now. I called the school to get this resolved and they rescheduled with a different instructor, Omar. He went above and beyond. The whole purpose of taking these lessons is to feel comfortable behind the wheel, be able to ask questions, and get constructive feedback. Omar met all of those and more. This is a very important service that this school is providing. It is unacceptable how Richard chose to conduct his lesson and I hope he doesn't do that to the teens who go there to learn.

Negative experience: My driving test was rescheduled due to me being too nervous to test and LTD didn’t allow me to reschedule for their car service waste of money never again!! I will NEVER recommend this service !!

Fantastic experience: Drew is an amazing instructor! So thorough and patient the way he explained what to expect on the day of the road test. And it was alot of fun seeing how far i've improved in 3 lessons. I had a lesson with Joanna too and also had a great experience! Love this school.

Fantastic experience: Best and least expensive in CT. Online same cost as in class. You get a script of all procedures needed to pass your online test. Very patient very calm instruction behind the wheel for the timid and accident prone. Ask for J teacher. Across from Sergios on Madison with the red awning.

Positive experience: Have good prices and friendly people, but can be unorganized. They told me to come in at 11 for the next week of class and it turns out I had to come at 1:30 so I did two hours for no reason for the safety driving course.

Positive experience: Despite the price being a good bargain compared to other 8 hr Safety courses, I came away from this course with very little good comments. Aside from watching videos, which were fun and informative, and the instructor giving good tips here and there, I was greatly disappointed by the amount of time that was spent talking about off-topic subjects. It's almost like I paid 125$ to listen to an Infowars or Conspiracy Theory plug. The instructor Alex is no doubt a good driving instructor, but spent too much time pushing his views on controversial topics and speaking about topics that could be found as offensive and frankly just not true. However, depsite my distaste for the subjects at hand and attempt at indoctrinating the crowd with false information, I was happy with the price of the certificate and the small few tips I got about driving. Edit: The school did contact me back apologizing and told me the aforementioned employee was spoken to so I will raise my review one star for the acknowledgement of my criticism.
