Fantastic experience: Greta school, easy to schedule driving lessons. We did spread driving lessons like recommended - two in the beginning and last one just before DMV test. Clean vehicles and friendly instructors. They were very accommodating and were able to pick up my son after school for his lesson. I would recommend this business.

Positive experience: The customer service with scheduling was awful because they got the appointment date wrong but at least they helped me pass my drivers test. They are good but they are a pain in the ass on the phone when scheduling an appointment

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful drivers ed course! It helped me pass the permit test first try! It's interactive and gives you tangible experience and knowledge that can't be acquired through an online course. Adolfo is a very great and humorous teacher. If you enroll make sure to do the assigned readings :) Great food places nearby to visit during lunch time. Edit: I also did my behind-the-wheel training with Budget, which helped me pass my behind-the-wheel test on first try :D

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of getting Iliana as my driving instructor and i had nothing but a positive experience. She helped me make turns smoothly and gave me different scenarios of things people have been failed on. With this feedback I practiced certain areas that I struggled with and ultimately passed my driving test on the FIRST try. This driving school does not lie when they say budget they teach the same things other school teach and probably better. I paid a total of 390 for all (3 classes) of my classes compared to 450- 550 somewhere else.Thank you again for everything!

Fantastic experience: Super happy with Budget. My daughter took the written part online with them & then we received a discount for the “behind the wheel” portion. Ben, the driving instructor, was nice & chill. Super easy to schedule appointments with him & he even showed my daughter the common routes the El Cajon DMV uses for testing. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great Experience: The Behind-The-Wheel Training lessons help with every aspect of the driving test. Each lesson goes over everything you need to know to succeed on the day of your exam and allows you to focus on each of your personal mistakes to improve. I recommend , she did an amazing job at teaching me everything I needed to know. She is very straightforward and attentive, gives you all the useful tips and tricks, shares with you common mistakes to avoid based on her experiences with past students, gives you lots of feedback, comments on your mistakes and teaches you how to correct them, and is easy to talk to and is friendly allowing for a overall comfortable learning and driving experience.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience from beginning to end with Budget Driving School. The customer service on the phone to set up lessons for our son was seamless. Most importantly, our son's driving instructor, Natalie, was outstanding! Beyond basic driving skills, she taught our son the rules of the road, some of which I didn't even know. Negative experience: My instructor was Luis. He gave good instruction. However, he was late several times. He also made unprofessional comments about my driving to someone on the phone in Spanish during my session. I'm assuming he thought I could not understand him. This was distracting as a learner.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely loved it there the teacher guy is amazing he teaches very well visually and physically he interacts with us by using his toy cars and we go outside and he shows us how to do things. He was always making it funny and enjoyable. I passed my permit test with 4 wrong. They also offer the driving lessons you need to take if you’re under 18. The prices are acceptable. I always liked how he let us go out to eat lunch because we are close to a lot of food.

Fantastic experience: Worked super well for my teen daughter. Class & Behind the wheel Instructors were very dedicated and responsible, pointing out bad habits that we all at times can fall into when driving. Plus their more affordable than many other places, trust me I called around.

Fantastic experience: I spent months trying to teach my daughter to drive but we always ended in a yelling match. After 6 hours with Ben she can parallel park better than me and she got her license on the first try with zero mistakes! She showed me this thing he taught her with lining up mirrors or something. I wish we would have hired Budget and Ben from the beginning. He kept her calm and relaxed the whole class and was very polite. I like that he offered to let me look at his car and take pictures of his license plate for my own piece of mind. The cost for the classes is also much lower than any other school I've searched. I'm recommending him to everyone and you should too.

Fantastic experience: I went here for traffic school and learned A LOT. I highly recommend this place.

Positive experience: I went here when I was 17. It's a decent school. Teacher had a deep accent but at the time you just had to attend 4 sessions and they would sign you off for you to take the written test. Lots of people from different backgrounds, young adults and such. It was a bit rowdy then but I'm sure it has gotten better. I'd recommend it.

Fantastic experience: This review was long over due and he deserves all these stars by far Casey is the best driving instructor and I had one before him the guy didn't teach me nothing . I was about to give up until they told me about Casey and if it wasn't for his help I wouldn't had pass the driving test and not only that but I recommend him to my sister and she pass as well if thar isn't enough to show u he is the best then u will miss out.

Fantastic experience: Signing up for this schools behind the wheel training was the best thing I ever did. They made it easy to make appointment times and had availability’s right away if you’re eager to learn like I was. I was placed with driving instructor Casey and was honesty quite happy because the amount of positive reviews he has received. I can say as my opinion that Casey was the best instructor for me, he was really kind and very informative. I went day one without knowing much about driving and day three to knowing how to drive safely and feeling confident in myself to drive. I definitely recommend this school because it has the best service, good instructor, and the best part it’s all AFFORDABLE!!!! P.S I know I already mentioned it but ask for Casey, you won’t regret it.

Impressively it is the same owner and location and excellent easy going , direct educational BI LINGUAL environment , as it was 35 YEARS AGO , when as a teenager I found and enlisted , with my parents approval , BUDGET DRIVING SCHOOL . Clean , organized , obliging , easy to find . good prices , and discounted behind the wheel training after in class/permit test training . my daughter got almost a perfect score ! ! Del Gaines

Fantastic experience: Profesional and good service good experience for my daughter she pass everything

Negative experience: I paid Bill King $80 to let me drive his car while he was simultaneously and UNNECESSARILY slamming the breaks installed in the passenger seat while also stuffing his face with chips. He kept yelling/blabbering at me over absolutely nothing and would not stop for the whole 2 hours. I could also barely understand what he was saying because of the incoherent nature of his speech. Regardless of the stress filled experience his lesson was, I still contacted him for a second lesson and he didn’t even have the decency to respond. In the end I paid this guy $80 to use up about $10 worth of gas and be yelled at. Total ripoff.

Fantastic experience: If you are a person, who never drive before but you need to earn the license as soon possible Casey was my driver, he mentions everything I need in order to pass my test with only five error, and I can personally recommend him to learn to drive or to realize driving test.

Negative experience: I filed a complaint to this school in DMV today, Never know that a guy named CASEY would ruin my chance to take the license like this, exactly this morning. CASEY from BUDGET DRIVING SCHOOL introduced a guy named alex according to what CASEY told me is his brother to pick me up at 9:00 for the test. I met this guy the day before the test to be able to familiar with the car and paid alex 100 and extra 20 dollars for asking 30 minutes more practice and he knows how much I need him to be on time tomorrow, then he sent these message to me at around 8:17. I have called ANNET from BUDGET DRIVING SCHOOL she say could do nothing and start to making excuses and lies same like what CASEY and ALEX did. I am not going to let it go to continue cheating people without conscience like these. Unimaginable how parents will count on this school and these man like this. What they did is to plotting to asking u having lessons and strike your confidence before the test started. What sort of school and coat have is that ?Check the message we sent and knows more of the school and himself. Contact me if you have the same experience. Cause such evil deeds to deprive a chance for student to have a test is a CRIME ! 华人朋友注意了⚠️千万别去这家驾校，我跟一个叫CASEY的教练约了两节课，不但每次都迟到，而且上课的时候老是跑题问打听，关于个人的事情。知道你是旅游者后，自己一个人后，就计划打击你自信心，说你不行（我心里不喜欢这个驾校，无奈已经约好考试，其他驾校短时又难约硬着头皮学了两节课）没想到考试那天他介绍的说是他弟弟的车过来在我去考试，前一天碰了面练了两个小时车还给了钱，另外钱等考后给。约好见面时间，早上发好多信息借口撒谎车坏了说我过不了等等，我已经去了DMV 调查组投诉，还在investigation中，他们也需要更多证据。没想到准备了这么久，花了这么多功夫跟钱，可是活生生考试权利竟然被它剥夺。打给驾校，驾校说跟他们无关，什么也不能做。如果有相同经历朋友联系我，取缔这家驾校，别让他再危害其他可伶的同胞！

Fantastic experience: This place might not be really nice looking but I would rather come here then anywhere else. They taught me things that I had no clue about. My children have done the driving classes and I've needed to fix ticket. I felt welcomed and so did my children. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: The person answering the phone was extremely rude. I made an appointment but called back the next day to ask if I could switch to a female driver cause my dad wasn't comfortable with me being with a male. And the person who does the scheduling told me there was no opening. I told him i was fine with any other day after that he started being rude and told me to look for another service and hung up.

Positive experience: The school helped my daughter pass her driver's test on the first attempt! I was a little slow on booking her driver's appointments, but they always found a way to fit us in last minute. Alex was a very patient instructor and Ernesto really pulled through for us when Alex was out of town. Thanks guys!!!! My daughter is officially legal to drive!

Negative experience: Instructor Joey was more like laid back than informative. Few minutes after we started he turned the radio on and just made a handful of comments during the two-hour ride. Car was dirty, littered with stuff and lunch leftovers; the wheel was sticky. I rather pay more and get a professional service.
