Negative experience: The Office Manager is rude! My son called to schedule and she told him to call back the following week and then when he did she was hateful and told him not to call again for another two weeks. Your company literally makes money off of people wanting to sign up for classes, you would think you would have better costumer service. Will look around for other options.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! Very helpful when I called, answered all questions without me feeling like they were rushing me off the phone. I signed my daughter up for two driving lessons and John was her instructor. Very friendly and patient. Took her out both times and went over the course and everything she needed to know. She passed on her first try!!!! Thank you all for making this a little less stressful for this mama.

Fantastic experience: I passed my test thanks to John, he's the best teacher I've had and I've had about four. I can't thank that man enough for all the patience he's had with me, I remember the analogies he's given me and used them on my test. Thank you so much for everything, you will never find a better teacher anywhere☺️❣️

Negative experience: I took the MSF here and the instructors seemed like very nice people and they wanted me to succeed. They also had great insight and taught me a lot. However, I would NOT recommend this class for an absolute beginner. I'd never sat on a bike, seen a bike up close, nothing, and they pushed me way faster than I was comfortable with to the point I was seriously worried I might get hurt. Everything was just extremely fast paced and I barely had a second to breathe and calm down. I ended up not going to the second day of the course because I was so scared of getting pushed even further than I was comfortable with - they built skills on top of skills so quickly before I felt I even had a good basic understanding of the bike. If you've been on a bike and had some experience riding around in an empty lot or something, or if a friend will let you borrow their bike and practice before this course, go right ahead! But definitely do not recommend for absolute beginners. I'm going to practice at my own pace before ever attempting this course again. All in all, I still learned a lot and I'm glad I tried, but I definitely recommend having SOME experience first.

Fantastic experience: BEST DRIVING SCHOOL IN KENTUCKY!!!!! I am a self proclaimed late driving bloomer. I was terribly nervous to learn how to drive . But, I was tired of letting fear stop me. So I researched driving schools in the area and decided on this company. My driving instructor was Mr. Tom, He was very kind and patient. I enjoyed every class I had with him as my instructor. He offered great advice that helped me improve. A few weeks after my classes I got my license !!! So, to anyone who has or knows someone with driving anxiety I highly recommend this company!!!!!

Negative experience: My discussion with the driving instructor in our parking lot today as he's setting up cones: Me: And what are we doing? Him: We can't parallel park out here? Me: In a civilized society, we usually ask permission before we use other people's stuff. Him: I would have asked but I didn't think anyone was here. Me - pointed to my car sitting in the parking lot. Him: Oh. And now he's off with his student doing some road driving while his orange cones are still sitting in our parking lot.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was Mr. John Stuart and I can comfortably say I feel very well prepared for my road test. Mr. Stuart was the perfect instructor due to his unique sense of humor, storytelling ability, and awareness on the road. The lessons were both informative and humorous and my only complaint is that we probably laughed too much. Hope you get some vacation time my friend! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had Mr. John Stuart as my driving instructor for one lesson and my (second) road test. He was very kind, patient and humorous! He helped build up my confidence and encouraged me through my whole entire lesson/session up until it was time to take my road test. And guess what, I PASSED!!! I would highly recommend John as a driving instructor! I am very pleased with the Kentucky Driving School, especially with being able to use their car to take the road test in and getting your get your Driver's License!

Fantastic experience: Took a motorcycle driving class recently with absolutely no experience and because of my instructor Larry, I actually passed! He was very informative and also had patience while I learned how to ride. The price of the class was reasonable as well. I highly recommend anyone wanting to learn how to ride or trying to obtain your license, go to this class!

Fantastic experience: Its a Pass for me! I passed in my first road test. My instructor was John. He taught me all the Important stuff for the road test. He was really patient. I will really recommend to have a class few days before your actual test.

Fantastic experience: Tom was my daughters instructor. He prepared her for the drivers test in two sessions. Tom took her to the training course both times and went over all the different areas and requirements to prepare her for the (nerve-racking) test. She said he was very patient, courteous and gave her the confidence to take the course test... and to pass on the first try! Highly recommend Tom!

Negative experience: The Motorcycle Safety Course was taught by a jerk who did not instill confidence. I left the course and will take somewhere else.

Negative experience: I had 4 2-hour lessons. My first instructor taught me well, but he put his hand on my thigh right after helping me move the handle. I said "HEY", and he pulled his hand as if nothing had happened. My second instructor was nice in the first lesson, but from the second lesson, he kept getting annoyed with me whenever I made a small mistake. While driving, he didn't talk much except for giving me tips on a driving test and expressing his irritation. I passed the test on the first attempt. You may pass the test after having lessons at this school, but you will have a terrible experience. Why should I be treated like this even when I pay?

Fantastic experience: My son’s instructor was amazing. He was patient, friendly and very helpful. Getting my son on the highway was hard. He didn’t have the confidence and I didn’t have the nerves for it. They did a wonderful job getting him on the highway and running him through the driving course to make sure he was ready for his test.

Negative experience: The instructor John was quite nice and very patience and helpful in the driving part. The office help another story....acted very put out if asked any questions about things. One main complaint I have is that car insurance companies do not offer any discounts if you just take the driving part...must take the classroom instruction to qualify. Wish this was mentioned by office folks in both on line and or on the phone so customer can be aware before committing.

Fantastic experience: William was my instructor, he taught me how to safely drive on the road and highway. He was always very positive and patient and led me to pass my test with a 100 percent. I had an amazing experience.

Fantastic experience: William taught my 17 year old daughter to drive with care and caution. He was kind, pleasant and funny. Best money we could have spent to aid her in safe driving! I wish I could give more stars!

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed Mr. John as my instructor he was amazing. He made sure I gained my confidence back which caused me to purchase my first car. He is very patient and has a great sense of humor that eases your nerves.

Fantastic experience: First thing: all these poor reviews, do yourself a favor and ignore them. Secondly: this class was very thorough, and the coaches were patient, kind, and well rounded with experience in motorcycle riding and teaching other how to ride properly. If you have never gotten on a motorcycle, or ridden for years and want a refresher, this is the place for you. You will learn something regardless. The instructors are great at what they do and will work with you until you are comfortable on the bike in every exercise. Thirdly: I highly recommend these guys!

Fantastic experience: Took the motorcycle class and learned how to ride as well as do it safe. I went in from never using a manual transmission to doing 90 degree turns on a motorcycle (Honda Rebel 300)! Awesome instructors and classmates. $150 well spent.

Positive experience: The first time I called the lady on the phone had an attitude. But when we went in the older lady at the front desk was nice and helpful. The instructor was great with my daughter and she passed her first time taking the test. I would recommend

Positive experience: Getting comfortable on the road was a pleasant experience with drivng instructor Michael. However, the woman who takes the calls always seems like she doesn’t want to be there. She is rude and doesn’t know how to talk to her clients. My last lesson had to be cancelled because they don’t communicate amongst themselves but the woman tried to blame it on me as if it wasn’t the first time I took driving lessons. I’m supposed to get a refund for the last lesson. For someone who deals with clients on the phone she is awfully rude.

Negative experience: When the instructor arrived, I went out to meet him before my child came to the car. I confirmed the times he he told me,” hopefully sooner” I asked why would he be coming back in less than the 2 hours I paid for? He told me he had some where to be before the session was up! I asked could they make the time up? He then said well we can’t start now (10 min) before session so he could get to HIS appointment When he brought my child back. They did not want to use him anymore! When I asked for another driver, they tired to push my child’s next session a month back! I explained what happened and they did not care! They overcharged me and the instructor rushed my child’s session! IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY’S WORTH LOOK AROUND TO OTHER PLACES!

Negative experience: Took the motorcycle class .I wouldn't recommend. The motorcycle instructor get frustrated with the students who are new riders .They expect for you to get it right then and there. I also since that the instructors do not take kindly to blacks and they will dismiss you and keep your money . Highly disappointed .

Customer service was a little rude when I first called but I called back a few times to confirm my appointments and she was pleasant. Over all I’d highly recommend.

Negative experience: worst experience ive had with a company!! didnt show up because they claim they didnt have a address which they did because i verified it.also didnt refund my money and cancelled my daughters class and never called to tell me! i had to call and find all this out and got told they didnt have my number which they did!i dont give someone my money and not give phone number to someone i give money to! i will never recommend this place to anyone! i shouldve known from the start this would happen since both people i talked to there where very short everytime i talked to them!

Negative experience: Paid too much for this school to be disorganized and rude Louisville staff. My daughter called to arrange her driving lessons and classroom instruction, only for the lady to be rude, condescending and actually hung up on her. Dropped her off today for her second classroom instruction and the lady asked, 'First or second' to which my daughter replied, 'last' and the lady said 'No. First or second!' Not worth the money and the chaos they create themselves. Take your money and time elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: my first experience coming to Kentucky driving school was great. Mr Philips was great helping me throughout the course until i went to do my driving test with the instructor. i passed the first, and my passing score was 99. i highly recommended anyone who is looking for a driving school to check with Kentucky driving school. just make an appointment with Mr Philips.

Fantastic experience: WOW!!! My daughter was especially hard to teach how to drive. I couldn't do it all by myself. The instructor was amazing! It took about 12+ hrs behind the wheel, but she finally gained enough confidence to drive and pass the test. It was money well spent! Thanks to everyone at the Kentucky driving school!!!

Negative experience: I would never recommend this driving school they never return your phone call and the answer machine is always on and when you finally get a hold of someone they are very rude do not waste your money go to Shelbyville Road school.

Fantastic experience: I should've been training with them all along. I bought the combo package that included the two classroom sessions and three behind-the-wheel courses. It made sense and my trainer critiqued me and turned the pressure up so that I could learn how to be a safe and attentive driver. It was a shame at how I was so anxious to take my license exam, because it turns out I had been well prepared. I achieved my license in my first attempt and now I'm a licensed driver. I think what I appreciate most about this school is how they schedule you for your road test and prep you before you take it. I'd probably never get my license if that were the case. Thank you so much, KDS! It was well worth the investment.
